  • MRP elements

    Dear all,
The MRP run creates different procurement proposals like purchase order or planned order. I am doing MRP run in plant A for a finished material with SPK 40 (procurement from plant B). The MRP run is giving me purchase requisitions in plant A. In plant B I am getting the MRP element PRqRel (Release order for a stock transfer requisition) and planned orders for the same quantity. Is the MRP element PRqRel correct? If I want the system to propose the MRP element as TrnReq (Transfer requirements WMS) instead of PRqRel what can I do?
    thanks and regards,
    Raghu

I understand that I am getting the correct requirement in terms of quantity. My question is about MRP elements. There are a lot of MRP elements available. Why the system is chosing only PRqRel as the MRP element. If I want the system to show another MRP element TrnReq in the place of PRqRel, what can I do?
What is the use of so many MRP elements?
    TIA

I have a similar query and requirment, I wants to understand the MRP Element TrnReq Functionality and when it comes means in which scenario?
Did you got any solution then? Can you please share?

    Hi
The value of the Channel Strip volume etc is not stored within the C Strip setting, as you have discovered.
If you really wanted, you could add a Gain plug to the strip, with it set to give the correct output level with the Fader set to 0
(Or just set the fader manually in MS)

  • How to get MRP elements - quantity received/required

    Hi all
I have a report and I need it to show the quantity received/required for each material in a plant due to MRP execution.
Basically something like MD04 showing each MRP element entry (Deliv., OI-SL, Order, etc) but a sum of quantity received and required
Do anyone knows a function, bapi, or other that can helps calculate this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Sometime ago I were asked to solve a similar problem.
Just try FM 'MD_ABBL_REPORTING', see if this FM meets your requirements.
    Hope it helps!

  • Excluding subfolders when importing photos in Photoshop Elements 10

In past versions of Photoshop Elements you could exclude subfolders when importing photos from files and folders.  In version 10 the "get photos from subfolders" is greyed out.  I normally do not want to include subfolders when importing.  I only want the top current folder.  Why the change?

    Hi,
    Just a further thought.
I have now tried versions 9 and 10 on a Windows 7 system and they both work the same. The "include subfolder" box is not active until I select a folder from the right side - selecting one on the left side doesn't activate it.
Which operating system are you using?
Did you change operating systems when you changed to PSE 10?

  • Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer crashes when importing m2ts files

When I import my collection of images and videos using "Import / From file and folders...", Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer crashes when importing one of my .m2ts files.  When I debug it I get:
Unhandled exception at 0x1543025B (mc_demux_mp2_ds.ax) in PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe: 0xC0000094: Integer division by zero.
Is there a way for me to import m2ts files successfully?  If not, then is there a way to skip importing these files.

I do not have any version of Premiere Elements installed.
I never removed any files.  This is a clean installation from a couple months ago when I got my new hard drive.
That file is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\mc_codecs\mc_demux_mp2_ds.ax":

Could you elaborate on what you are doing and the problems that you are running into?
What version of Premiere ELements and its Elements Organizer are you using and on what computer operating system is it running.
My problem in understanding your question involves the following thoughts.
When you import files into Premiere Elements or its Elements Organizer, the originals remain at the computer hard drive save location. The program has just thumbnails of the files, and those thumbnails need to trace back to the originals at the hard drive save location. Is the problem in a shortcoming of the Lightroom program?
We will be watching for clarification.
    Thank you.

  • When importing photographs from Photos into Adobe Elements does Elements make a separate copy of the photograph?

I use Adobe Elements Organizer, and don't want to use Photos except to transfer photos from my iPad and iPhone to my MAC. Then my plan is to delete them. But I need to understand where the photographs are stored on my MAC, to avoid having multiple copies. With the previous iPhoto app you could never really identify the location of the files--and it seemed that Adobe Elements was making a copy in a separate directory on import to Elements. Now with the new Photos app, I don't  know what is happening.

I use Adobe Elements Organizer, and don't want to use Photos except to transfer photos from my iPad and iPhone to my MAC
Then you might want to just use image capture (in your applications folder) to transfer the photos instead - that would simply your workflow
And as to where the photos are - same as before - in the Photos (or iPhoto - or Aperture) library - and yes if you import to Photos and then in some undisclosed way add the photos to PSE organizer you have two copies - one in PSE and one in Photos

  • MRP elements on MD04

    Hi Gurus,
We see planned orders in MD04 for a material. Please explain me how and when the system will convert this planned order to PR. The material is externally procured. please exaplain me about the MRP elements and and their relationship in MD04. I 'm new to MD04
    Thanks
    Ansuha

    Dear Anusha,
Once after running MRP either at the header material level or at the material level, the system creates planned order/purchase
requisition depending upon the MRP control parameter given for create Purchase requisition at the time of MRP run.
The planned order/purchase requisition is one of the MRP element that can be seen in MD04,which is one of the important
screen for a production scheduler/purchase dept.
Converting a purchase requisition into a purchase order or else a planned order into a purchase requisition depends on the
business decision.Either you can convert the purchase req into purchase orders via MD04 or else using ME21N.
Likewise MD14,MD15,MD16 can be used for converting a planned order into purchase req.
Also a background job can be scheduled using T Code ME59N to convert the pur.req into purchase orders.
    Check and revert back.

  • When importing a file from a folder

when importing a file from a folder it appears in the organizer as a exclamation mark but no photo. can anyone help i use elements 9

    Hi there,
Digging up an old thread slightly, but is this still definitely the case? Last week double-clicking a folder definitely just opened up a folder for me to explore its contents, but now I'm constantly accidentally importing huge folders into things like After Effects and Mail... it's very annoying!
If there's a fix I'd love to hear it!

Please help me , if any know the solution or any input. Open purchase order in system.

    PNU

    PNU,
I don't believe this is the same Purchase order.
Review closely order number/item number/schedule number.  I believe you will see that the old entry (MD05) no longer exists, and has been replaced with a similar item.

  • Intra company STO- MRP element reservations

    Dear All'
I request your help to resolve following issue.
I have created Intra company STOs based on different plant's requirements. say PO# 1, 2, 3...100.
The system is reserving available qty based on POs in sequence. When I process PO# 56 for example, when doing PGI in VL02N, the system is throwing error saying deficit of qty in stock.
But I can see stock as available in MMBE, but in mD04, mrp elements are created based on POs created earlier.
But business needs can be, I can process any PO first for delivery and PGI based on urgency.
Request you help in this regard.

    Hi Maria,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
I have checked ATP, that is not activated.

    Is this by design?
When I select "Append Content" I get a (new) table with the formatting (column widths) as specified in the updated aid:ccolwidth and of course, the updated content. When merging content are you giving up all rights to updating formatting at the same time?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

    Hello,
The existence check on the Salutation descriptor is likely check cache, as it is the default. Because of this, when you merge the Salutation with id=2, it will check the cache and not find it and so register it as a new object instead. You have 2 options, the first is to read it instead of creating it new. The second is to change your existence checking option so that it will either go tothe database or assume existence so that it is more appropriate for how you intend to use these types of objects in your mappings. For instance, if you never plan to create new ones, assume existence might be more appropriate.
I suspect though that for most applications, reading the object first is the best option performance wise.
    Best Regards,

  • Import From Elements - where did it go

I noticed that the Michael Tapes 'Import' video showed an 'Import From Elements' menu item on the file menu. I have the 4.1 beta installed and this item does not appear in the file menu. Where did it go or is there another way to import a PSE catalog straight into LR.
    Here is the video site:
    http://pictureflow.fileburst.com/_Tutorials/Photoshop_LR/01/index.html

I'm hoping that this whole process is unnecessary. By seeing the "Import from Elements" option, I am currently hoping/assuming that this means it will import the actual PSE Organizer catalog into LR. PSE Organizer uses .psa files for each catalog. I am hoping that by selecting the "Import from Elements" options, LR will take your .psa file (Photoshop Elements Organizer Catalog) and convert it into a .aglib file (Lightroom Library). The tags, categories and subcategories should be converted to the Lightroom equivalent of keywords, parent keywords, and child keywords (or whatever they're called in LR). In doing this, there should be no preparation of anything in PSE Organizer. If I'm understanding what Susan just said she did, it seems that the actions you just took Susan by making everything a category just took away all hierarchical tags (or parent/child information), for their is no heirarchy in the IPTC keywords fields, unless I'm mistaken.
Once again, I'm assuming this is how it will work and I hope I'm right . . . any other way just doesn't seem to make any sense. The "Import from Elements" option would not be needed if you've already embedded all of your tags into the files (or made all of your tags into categories and embedded that). If that information is already embedded in the file, then just import the files through the typical import dialog and it will find that information. There is no need to worry about the catalog or the "Import from Elements" command at all. My hope is that I don't need to do this and I can just convert the catalog on the fly (much like when you upgrade from say PSE Organizer version 3 to PSE Organizer version 5). Regardless, I will wait until LR is released before I take any steps to start the conversion process. I don't want to compomise something that I've spent years creating and works great already because I'm guessing or assuming how something may or may not work. I guess we shall all know soon enough (or even sooner if a final release tester can confirm this in any way).
