en las paginas web que hay videos sale un mensaje que indica que tengo que instalar un complemento para verlo. no soy capaz de encontrarlo. alguien puede indicarme cual tengo que instalar

Lo siento olvide que cambio de la version 2012 a la 2013, fue un error mio. Sin embargo ya que realizaste los ajustes necesarios, y nos aseguramos que la documento *.html es estatico, el web server no debe de cambiarlos al cargarlos. El web service lo unico que hace es mandar llamar un archivo preestablecido, por ende debe de haber un error en la forma en que estamos mandando llamar el archivo ... Por tanto te propongo revisar los siguientes puntos :
1. El web service te carga un documento (no el que tu esperas), lo que es una buena senal. Si el documento no estuviera dentro del build o algo por el estilo, te mandaria un error 404. Hay que asegurarnos que no tienes unas versiones pasadas o modificadas de tu pagina *.html que por error esten siendo llamadas, y nos haga pensar que el codigo esta siento cambiado.
2. Estas utilizando hojas de estilo (style sheets) declaradas fuera de tu codigo principal ?? Hay que asegurarnos que estas llamando todas las css rules correctamente.
3. Tener todos los archivos necesarios dentro del build. Si tu pagina principal de *.html manda llamar otros archivos, entre ellos hojas de estilo, hay que tenerlas dentro del build del web service. Igual te propongo declarar todas tus css rules dentro del <style> ... </style> del codigo principal y mandarlo llamar solo para asegurar que no va por ahi el problema.
4. Por ultimo, hay que asegurarnos que el nombre de la computadora servidor corresponde con el IP donde esta corriendo el web service. No vaya a ser que por algun error estemos llamando a la computadora del vecino o algo por el estilo, pero lo dudo .. siento que no va por aqui .. solo se me ocurrio xD
Me intriga mucho tu caso ! Seguire buscando infromacion, vere si consigo una computadora con labview 2013 y tratare de reproducir el error. Cualquier resultado, solucion o informacion que encuentres, publicala ! Quiero seguir al tanto de lo que sucedio !

Add-ons which are installed and enabled are not visible - no Firebug icon, no Web Developer toolbar.

I was busy working with Firebug last night. This morning the icon wasn't present and I couldn't find it anywhere. In Add-on manager I disabled/reloaded then enabled/reloaded, but still nothing. Web developer toolbar was also missing and not in the toolbar menu. Checking versions, I saw I had Firebug 1.8.1, and one of the compatibility lists suggested that went with Firefox 6 (I was on 5.0.1).
I installed Firefox 6 beta, reinstalled Firebug 1.8.1, but no change. I uninstalled, reinstalled 5.0.1 and this time Firebug 1.8.0, and again nothing.
I must be missing something, but my poductivity has suffered so much that I'd be happy to discover exactly what sort of idiot I am.

I know where to find it. It was the absence of that icon I was complaining about. After a day and a half of doing very little, I suddenly saw that the Web Developer toolbar had reappeared (for no apparent reason). That gave me access to options which had previously been invisible, and I have succeeded in switching Firebug on again. I only wish I could tell all the other people suffering from this problem how to solve it, but the solution was quite spontaneous.

Los archivos .exe son archivos para abrir en Windows, así que no puedes usarlos en OS X. Puedes intentar utilizar alguna aplicación como CrossOver para abrirlo, pero no funciona en muchos casos, así que podrías necesitar instalar Windows en tu ordenador

. FF Ver 4 is very slow and does perform as well as 3.6. I uninstalled 4 after downloading ver 3.6.16 and that is causing colorfultabs not to color and the Add-ons page is freezing making it unable to use it. Ver 4 runs very slow. Please help.

It seems my machine does not like your ver4 and 3.6.16. I want the ver prior to 3.6.16. . Since the last 2 updates have not been able to use FF to browse or play Webkinz. It is way too slow. Following the install of 3.6.16 the Colorfultabs is not working and I can't fix it or adjust it because the Add-ons list/page freezes. I have removed/disabled several add-ons and extensions and nothing seems to help. If it were not for IE I would not be able to use my machine. I have 2.5 GB of memory and 30 percent plus of free space on my hard drive. I use Windows XP SP3 if that makes a difference. I don't think I need a lot of add-ons but need to know what I can remove. The feature to open FF without any add-ons is gone for some reason. Please give me back my simple smooth operating FF. Thank you.

I had all the dot nets in add/remove but discovered they were not installed. Got all up to date. Puter is 2005, I have all that U listed except Win7. I just don't know if I need that or not. Did U say that I need more than the 2.5 GB
memory that I have? Please tell me why Win7 is better than WinXP.
FF is running much better now but Webkinz accounts are still loading slower than in IE. I am wondering if maybe I should totally remove all of FF including customizations and personal info and start over fresh with a clean install of ver 4. I am still using ver 3.6.16. Is it possible that this is reason for Webkinz (a flash, java and Unity game) not loading good? Also, are there some of the Plug-ins that I can remove? What Audio players do I need?
