Queries on two fronts

I am experiencing 2 problems, in the last few days.
1) Why do some icons on my Desktop have a small grey square with a white triangular line inside, and what does this mean.
2) I have wanted to send some multiple pic files to another Forum, nothing to do with HP, and I always used to use the Ctrl button to link multiple pics, but for some reason this is not now working.
3) I am still seeing a Blue and Yellow shield on some desktop icons, when the shortcut relates to starting a programme, which is brand new and runs quite normally under Windows 7

1. Could you attach a screenshot showing the small gray square with a white triangle? That way I can see exactly what it looks like.
2. I have noticed the same thing you describe myself when trying to upload files. Some web sites do not support multiple selection of files while uploading. Sometimes they don't support multiple file selection based on which browser you are using (to prevent problems). Have you tried a different web browser? What about installing the latest version of Adobe Flash?
3. The blue and yellow shield you describe indicates that the program or shortcut to a specific program will prompt the UAC (User Account Control) and ask if you are sure you want to run it. If UAC is disabled you shouldn't get the prompt.
Also what HP computer model are you running and what operating system? Is it Windows 7?

Solution is to use BoxLayout with AXIS parameter. Statement looks like this:

Create back-to-back magazine in CS6 - two front covers?

Hi all,
This is my first post here - I had a look round the forum and couldn't see anything relating to this so here goes:
I'm creating a school magazine in CS6 which has two main types of content: school news and student generated content. I would like both these sections have a front page, so I think a back-to-back magazine (not sure is there is a specific term) where both covers become front covers (but upside down in relation to each other) is the best way forward.
So - I wondered if anyone else has used Indesign for this type of document - are there any pitfalls/heads-ups I need to know about, and I should set the document up in a particular way?
Also, I've been using master pages to add in page numbers, and I wondered if there is a master page workaround for two sets of page numbering - both working towards the middle from each cover? Or would a simpler option be to rotate the pages once they're finished and add the page numbers in manually?

This gets discussed from time to time here, generally in the context of books in two languages, and yes, there are pitfalls. to be truly back to back, not only do you need to rotate the back cover, but all of the pages for the second version, and they need to be in reverse order, You also need to decide if they will interleave (so there will be a right-side-up and an upside-down page on each spread), or if you wan t it set up so you can thear the magazine in half down the spine and have two separate but complete magazines.
The answer to the last part will help determine the easiest way to get the layout you need, but it's usually easiest to start out with two separate files and combine them in some way at the end.

Inspire T6060 only two front speakers working. Help Please!

I've bought a t6060 for use with my zen micro mp3 player.
Using the aux line to my mp3 player with a 3.55mm to 3.55 cable, only the front two speakers and subwoofer are playing.

CF Licensing on two front end web servers

I'm currently running CF 9 Standard on a since server that runs as my web and db server. I use Rackspace Cloud btw.
I've been thinking about changing my infrustructure around so it would look like this:
- 1 Load Balancer
- 2 Web Servers
- 1 Database Server
My question is about licensing on the 2 web servers.
- Is it possible to use a single CF Standard license to cover both web servers (since they are just syncing each other, they are basically the same server but split into two separate virtual machines), or would I need to purchase 2 individual licenses to make this work?

Compare two queries of two different system.

Hello all,
I need to certify the some queries, the process we follow is as below.
1. The query will be created in Production system, we will transport back to Development server.
2. Compare the query (Characterstics, Key Figures and Definition), In other words I need to compare and validate each and every aspect of Query with the Development and Production.
3. I need to change the query if I find anything difference in Prod and Dev system.
4. Transport to the Production.
Here my problem is I'm comparing manually by opening RRMX in each of the system and each variable, its time consuming as it is a manual process there is a chance of missing some important. So I would like to know is there any way to compare the queries Prod and Dev server in easier way than manually.
I hope requirement is clear to you or else just let me know your concerns and thoughts on this.

I dont think there is an easy way to do this as you are asking for - however you can do a basic level comparison as to number of query ellements , variables that are there etc - this can be done using the table rszcompdir which has all the query elements of the query but then a direct one to onw comparison may not be possible since the query elements are identified by GUIDs which usually will be different across systems.

Ports between two front end pools

We plan to build 2 pools in two geographical locations. They are active-active sites, in case of one site failure we would move all the uses from the failed site to the surviving sites.
What are the ports that need to be open between these pools?

Flash 9 - Trouble on two fronts

One old man to another... I'll try to help, but it hasn't gotten all that technical yet, so you may have to bite down hard in any case.
For the graphic end of things, read the two following paragraphs before picking one to follow...
1) If the graphic is a graphic symbol that lives in the library, then you can convert it to a movieclip by changing its properties. Right click on it in the library and select Properties. In the interface that opens, change the checkbox to the MovieClip option. If you have the graphic on the stage already, click on it once to select it and then in the Properties panel, change it to be a MovieClip in the drop down selection by the <Instance Name> input. After that, give it an instance name in the <Instance Name> input... "graphic_mc" will be fine, but whatever you choose will be fine as long as it's one word, no spaces.
OR
2) If the graphic is not something that lives in the library as a symbol, right click on the graphic on the stage and select Convert to Symbol. In the interface that appears, enter a name for it (this will only be its name in the library). Then check the MovieClip Box and click OK. In the Properties panel, there is an input with a grayish label inside it saying <Instance Name>. With the new Movieclip selected on the stage, give it an instance name in that input... "graphic_mc" will be fine, but whatever you choose will be fine as long as it's one word, no spaces.
From this point forward, it will be less time consuming for me to create an example file for you. But to do that I will need to know what version of actionscript you are using so that I can provide the appropriate button code.

How to combine sql queries of two different data models of a single RDF

Greetings.
I am on a task to get the sql query of a seeded report(Accounting Rules Report) with RDF named RAXARL.rdf
The RDF consists of 3 data models which consist of a sql query each and they are running fine individually.But I want all those three to be combined in a single SQL Query so that I can use it running a report in apex.
Can anyone help me do this? I am able to find a solution for this.

To get the SQL behind the report, run it with the Enable Trace option enabled (disable it after you get it).

Welcome to the forum!
Whenever you post code, format it to show the extent of sub-queries, and the clauses in each one.
Type these 6 characters:
\(all small letters, inside curly brackets) before and after each section of formatted test; if you don't, this site will compress the spaces.
It also helps it you reduce your query as much as possible. For example, I think you're only asking about the sub-query called caloc, so just post caloc as if that were the entire query:select     ( select CIRCUIT_ID

This makes it much cleared that the query will produce 2 columns, called circuit_id and alocation.
Compare the query above with the query below:SELECT     object_id,
     'Okay'
FROM     sc
The basic structure is the same: both queries produce two columns, and both queries produce one row of output for every row that is in the sc table.
The only difference is the two items in the SELECT clause.
The second query has a column from the table as its first column, and a literal for its second column; those are just two of the kinds of things you can have in a SELECT clause. another thing you can have there is a +Scalar Sub-Query+ , a complete query enclosed in parentheses that produces exactly one column and at most one row.   If a scalar sub-query produces more than one row, then you get the run-time error: "ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row", as you did.
A scalar sub-query always takes the place of a single value: "scalar" means "having only one value". In the first example above, the main query is supposed to produce one row of output for every row in sc. How can it do that if some of the columns themselves contain multiple rows?
I don't know what your tables are like, or what output yu want to get from thiose tables.
If you'd like help getting certain results from your tables, then post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for a little sample data, and the resutls you want to get from that sample data. A scalar sub-query may help getting those results, or it may not.

We have a two front end servers in our Lync deployment and I'm getting an interesting error message on one of the servers when the "Lync Server Front-End Service" is starting up. All the services on that server will eventually start but I'm pretty
sure it's affecting users in some way.

2 Front-end vs 3 Front-end server

Hi everyone,
Our front-end pool will consist of 2 front-end servers for high availability. One front-end server should support 10,000 users, but since the recommendation for a front-end pool is 3 servers, i want to know if deploying only 2 could be a real issue. What
I understand from the Technet documentation is that the way user data is stored (1 primary copy and 2 backup copies) is one reason (but I would thing not enough reason for us as a company of 1200 users) and that you need to shutdown and bring them up again
in a specific order. Am I missing something what would definitely make me deploy 3 front-end servers?

I'd say just never do two front end servers, it's not recommended at all.

2 edge servers and 2 front end servers?

Good morning/afternoon/evening Technet,
We're about to go to production with Lync 2013 standard with the following.
1. 2 front end servers w/ standard edition
2. 2 edge servers
We want to set it up so that 1 front end and 1 edge server will be at a location of ours a couple miles away. We want to setup the other front end and edge server at our main office. For disaster recovery purposes I know that I can keep the two front ends
pooled but as far as the Edge servers go, would it be best to have 1 active and the other edge turned passive? Is there a way that I can put the two edge servers in the same pool?

Hi,
Each Site can use a separate Edge Server to support external login process.
However, it is possible to use single Edge server for both pools. The user from the other site has to connect to the only edge and then route though the WAN link to go to its own pool. Access Edge is responsible for proxying SIP traffic for remote clients
to the next hop, which can be a Director or a Lync pool.

Front End for Upgrade 3.5

We are upgrading from 3.1 to 3.5. I'm assuming we will need a different front-end for the 3.5 vs. 3.1. Can someone please verify and also is there a easy way to switch between the two front ends in order to connect to both 3.1 and 3.5

We're in the middle of upgrading from 3.1 SP 22 BW w/6.20 SAPGUI. We've only upgraded a sandbox BW server at this point, but we have upgraded all BW team members with SAPGUI 6.40 FEP 5 and can successfully connect to our 3.5 and 3.1 BWs.
