Query browser error for a Bex query

Hello,
I am using Query browser in Dashboards 4.0 to retrieve the data from Bex query. When I select a few dimension measures out of the structure with certain key figures and clicking the preview of the results, I am getting the error message as "Request Processing failed(XLS 000009)[] Error DBMAN(257):SQL Error:58115
Error RS Exception:Arithmetic overflow error converting" kind of error message.
When I remove some dimension members which were selected, I am able to see the preview of the data. What could be the probable reason for the above kinda error?
Thank you.

These are generic error, please go through the below link and let us know whether its helpful or not.

  • Error while executing BEx Query on Composite Provider

    Hi,
We have a BW on-HANA system, patch level SAPKW73105.
We have created a Composite provider based on the union of two DSOs, two infoobjects, one SPO, and there are a couple of joins with two other DSOs, on the top of that we built a BEx query.
While executing the BEx query, sometimes (depending on the filter values), We got the following error message
"Attribute engine failed;Error executing physical plan: exception 6900: AttributeEngine/Parallel/DimensionFilter.cpp engine failed; $function$=getValidFemsPA;"
"Error 6,900 has occurred in the BWA/SAP HANA server"
"Error reading the data of InfoProvider @3ZSDRPCP5"
"Error while reading data; navigation is possible"
    "Row: 59 Inc: MAP_TREX_EXCEPTION Prog: CL_RSDRH_TREX_STORAGE"
    (Attached error message)
Ii We browse the composite provider data using the "display data" option in the RSA1, data is displayed without issue, the problem only appears during the BEx query execution and only with some filter vaues.
Any idea on how to fix the issue.
    Thanks,
    Federico

He's on 7.3 EhP1, which is on SPS12 today. It got pretty stable by SP08, SP09. SP05 was pretty early on, and had a lot of bugs in the HANA views.
7.4 is on SP07 like you say, and most of our customers run at least SP06 - before then, you had to apply a bucketload of SAP notes. I would recommend customers apply SP08 with care because it's a feature release so will have a bunch of new features, which will no doubt need corrections.

  • New OLAP connection for each BEx query?

    Hi,
I am wondering whether it's really necessary to create for each BEx query a new OLAP connection in BO 4.0.
This is the BICS connection as far as I know. But this would result in a lot of OLAP connections...
    Thanks!

One OLAP connection is enough for one BW system.
You can also dedicate a OLAP connection to one query if needed.

  • Error When Launcging BEX query into Web Browser

    Hi all,
When Launching Bex query into Web browser from BEx Analyser it's giving this error message. We are using Bex 3.x tools.
    Technical Information for Message:
    Error loading template 0ADHOC
      Notification Number BRAIN 276
    Any help will appreciated!.
    Thanks,

If you want to continue to use the ABAP-based runtime, create the template using the Web Application Designer (SAP BW 3.x).
The templates called using the new Web Application Designer have new objects that are independent of the objects saved using Web Application Designer 3.x. This means that, unlike the old templates, they can no longer be called using parameter template_id=abc. Instead, you can address them from an iView using template=abc and they use the Java Web runtime in the portal. Only the old templates can be executed in transaction RSRT.
In Web Application Designer 3.x, you can use parameter template_id=abc to call saved objects.
Note 1014795 - Error BRAIN 276 when you execute a Web template
    Hope it Helps

  • Giving Error while opening BEx Query Designer.

    Hi all,
A user is trying to open BEx Query Designer 7.0 and she is getting this error
" SAP BEx Query Designer standalone has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were middle of something, the information you are working on might be lost. "
She is not having issues while opening BEx Analyzer. She is having Office 2010. This doesn't seem to be compatibility issue with the Office. This BEx was not installed on her machine 2 weeks back and it was working fine until now.
As a first re-solution i told her to get it re-installed but still she is getting the same issue.
    Thanx.

    Hello,
There is no relation between Office VS Query Designer. Only with BEx Analyzer and MS Excel.
    My suggestion is.
If you don't have version 7.20 of SAPGUI and Business Explorer, please download the installer.
After that, download the latest patch available and install:

    hi all,
While i try to execute a query i am getting the below error msg. How to rectify it. Can i suppress the message and execute the query. I want to look at the keyfigure/characters used in the query how to look at it.
Warning following error for partial infocube = zsbmt in rsdrc_cube_data_get_rfc
error ods zsbmt not configured for bex reporting
abort system error : rsrdc/form data_get_ods error in rsdro_read_ods_dat zsbm
abort system error in program saplrsdrc and form rsdrc/form data_get_ods.

    Hi,
it looks like the ods, you are running the query on is not enabled for bex reporting. So goto the ods maintenance and switch on bex reporting in the settings of the ods.
    regards
    Siggi
PS: someone removed the flag after the query was created.

  • ERROR while excecuting BEx query

    Hi Friends,
I executed a Bex query and error is displayed Page not Found while connecting.I am using a Remote desktop.
Can you please let me know how can i correct the error.
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks
    Sahasra

    Hi Sahasra,
Can you provide more details about your issue. At the same time you can check the following points.
    1. When you are executing the query, does it ask for your SAP user ID and password.
    2. You can check the link on your webpage, whether its referring to the correct query. Query name will be there on URL.
    3. There could be a connection issue, check with you basis team.
    Thanks,

  • Error while saving Bex Query

    Hi all
I created a Global RKF in Query desinger and when i click on Save button, it is throwing error
[Query name] contains errors do you want to save anyway?
why i am not able to create RKF, If i delete that RKF and click SAVE its working fine, but if I create a Global RKF it's throwing error.
What i Did is I select the option No, and tried to create again the same RKF with same Technical name then it says already RKF exists but i dont see that in any other query's too, then i logout  and once again login and tried with same technical name and same RKF then it worked but for only one RKF, when i create another RKF and save query same error is showing up.
Did any one face this issue before?
    Thanks

In SAP we can't create any of the objects with the same Technical name, but you can create the objects with same description with different Technical names...
You might have checked the Description which is same for the other RKF you are referring too...
Why you want to create the RKF with the same name? why don't you make use of already existing one?
If you are not able to find it ,,some body might have created and later they had deleted it. but the entry is still there in the tables.
Give a try and check out your self...
