Query design (urgent)

hello sir
i want to create the query (key figure) structure same as that of
valuated stock (0IC_C03_Q0006) standard query for another query .
it's sound really silly but plz guide us.

Hi,
You can Copy the Standard Query with new Technical Name by using Tcode RSZC, so that the existing Query won't effects. Or else as told above, you open the Quey and Select Save As option give New Technical Name.

Hello all,
In the Query designer we have a structure in which I would like to edit one of the K.F . For example the K.F is a Formula K.f which is built on Fiscal year & Amount Now I've to include version to this K.F.
Please let me know how this can be done at the earliest.

1. In the Query Designer, choose Cells (open) from the toolbar or use the menu option under View to reach the Cell Editor functions.
2. You can now use four different functions.
New Selection
u2022 Select a cell in the Cells dialog box, and use the right mouse
button to choose New Selection.
u2022 Define the required selection.
u2022 Enter a description for the selection and choose OK.
New Formula
u2022 Select a cell in the Cell dialog box, and use the right mouse button to choose New Formula.
u2022 Define the required formula. Enter a description for the formula
and choose OK.
New Cell Reference
Each cell that you define can be reused in formulas. If you want to reuse the value of the implicit generic cell definition that automatically occurs at the intersection of two structure parts of a query, select this cell in the Cell Definition dialog box, and choose New Cell Reference using the right mouse button. The description arising from the two structure parts
automatically appears in the cell. You can now refer to this cell.
Additional cells
Click on the cell adjacent to the Help Cells and choose the required option if you need additional cells for auxiliary selections or formulas which are not already included in the query structure you have defined from the construction of rows and columns.

Error in while Executing Query in the Query Designer

I created info Set based two info object and three Data Store Objects. and join condition is Left Outer Join.
there are Business Partner info object, CRM BP Sales View Info Object and Data Store Objects are BP: Roles (0BP_ROLE),Partner: Industries(0BP_IS),CRM Marketing Attributes for Business Partner(0ATR_DS01)
I given some Selection Parameters while executing query in the Query Designer. in That i given city is selection parameters
and i creted variable for this info object.
it gives the Error Messages

The Error message in english is this
While reading the data mistakes have appeared. Navigation is possible
The value " New of Delhi " from sign 0CITY40 contains a mistake at the 10.ten place
and i think you need to run the change run and run the report with out selecting the variable option.and navigate in the report by filtering the report for your requirement.

Error in execution of query's from Query Designer

We have recently installed the BI 7 server, when i execute the query from query designer i got the following URL:
http:///irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=TEST_REP&VARIABLE_SCREEN=X&DUMMY=2
due to that page is not displayed, i guess there is some sort of hostname setting need to be done.
Can anybody please guide me where all these settings are done, help required urgently ?

In fact the query's are not running because this entry needs to be maintained in the below path:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Maintain this as the last entry below the localhost
<bi server ip> <host name>.
This entry is to be maintained whenever we dont see the host name in the url.

May be you have not included host string in logon pad.
1. Open SAP log on pad
2. Select the system and go to change mode
3. you have IP defined for the system, here you need to put host string name which u can get from C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc file for your SAP system in your system.
4. Save and exit.and run query again

Attribute not visible in the Query Designer

I am not able to see 0BPPartner as attribute of object 0Customer in the Query designer .It is marked as display attribute.For some user its visible & for Some not.
Please help me its very urgent.

Hi Anita,
As you stated earlier that some users are able to see it and some are not then it surely is a Authorization/Profile issue. Speak to the BASIS/person who manages this to resolve the issue.

Subtraction of 0Base_line date from 0Clearing date in the Query designer

Hi
How to subtract 0Base_line date from 0Clearing date in query designer??
I tried using 'Selection' by taking both 0Base_line and 0Clearing date separately in different selection and then subtracting them using formulas. But when i run the query,it is giving error "Use keyfigures in the selection".
Pls suggest. Itz very urgent.

But if any of the date is 'blank' then while subtracting 0Base_line date from 0Clearing date it is giving some value (like 78,90345).Actually i want *'No of days'* to be displayed.
Date format is dd/mm/yyyy (12/6/2007)
Pls help.
Also i want Grading to be assigned in alphabets(as A, B and C) instead of numbers (1 ,2 and 3). Is there any way in Query designer to achieve such type of grading?

Error when executing query its urgent

when iam executing my query in query designer through web morning i got the result in web.
but when iam executing the same query in wad it is throughing an error like (System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form GET_FIELD_POSITION-01-))
now again i check that one in querydesigner again it is showing the same error in querydesigner also

Symptom
At runtime, a query contains a generated ABAP program and a data structure, which is stored in the shared buffer. Due to the gap described here, the version of the ABAP program may not correspond to the version of the data structure.
This causes several terminations when you execute this query:
X299 Brain SAPLRRK0; Form GET_FIELD_POSITION-01-,
X299 Brain SAPLRRK0; Form APPEND_KHANDLE_1-02-,
ASSIGN COMPONENT L_FIELDNAME OF STRUCTURE C_SX_GVAR, and others.
Other terms
RSIX, SX_REPORT,
Reason and Prerequisites
The error can occur if one person changes a query and another person simultaneously executes the query. A query may also be changed implicitly if one of the objects used in the query is changed in another query.
Solution
The attached corrections apply only to Releases 3.X. An advance correction cannot be provided for NetWeaver 2004s.
Before you implement the attached correction (in 3.X), you must change the two following method interfaces. Otherwise syntax errors occur in the CL_RSR_REPORT_RSIX class and the RRI0 function group when you implement the corrections.
1. In Transaction SE24: Change the MODIFY method of the CL_RSR_REPORT_RSIX class as follows:
              Insert the I_S_RKB1D import parameter with the type RSR_S_RKB1D.
2. In Transaction SE24: Change the READ_SX_REPORT method of the CL_RSR_REPORT_RSIX class.
              Delete all existing import parameters (that is, I_GENUNIID, I_DVERS, I_IDVERS and I_GENTIME) and insert the I_S_RKB1D import parameter with the type RSR_S_RKB1D.
After you implement the corrections, you must delete the incorrect information in the shared buffer. To do this, enter '/$SYNC' in the command field in every application server. Alternatively, you can also call RSRT -> Environment -> Generate Queries. As a result, all queries are regenerated but all OLAP caches are rejected.

           In urgent cases, you can use the correction instructions.
To provide information in advance, the notes mentioned above may be released before the Support Package is available. In this case, however, the short text of the notes still contains the words "preliminary version".

SQL Error 207 when using Query Designer

I am crating a Query on the query designer NW04s, when I add a column from my info provider I get the following error:

IF and ABS condition statement in BEX query designer

Hi,
I would like to ask the best way for me to produce an acceptable result from Excel IF and ABS Condition statement.
The condition statement that I have on my Excel file is
=IF((A2-B2)>0,ABS(A2-B2),0)
I'm trying multiple times to reproduce this in BEX Query designer, unfortunately I'm getting a bad result or unacceptable formula.

Text value is not getting displayed in Query designer !!

Dear experts..,
i have created a new query in query designer using my info provider and then selected one field in default value and then trying to restrict that particular field while selecting the restriction in query designer am getting the exact text value but after generating the report instead of text value , key value is getting displayed....so how can i get text instead of key value??
please help me friends....

Hello kumar,
After another analysis I have to inform you about general concept of
"compounded characteristics".
A compounded characteristic bounds two characteristics. The technical
name is generated by both technical names of the two characteristics
combined by two underlines "__".
An individual text is only available for one single combination of both
characteristics.
Example:
=======
Compounded characteristic "Famous family name" is a combination of
characteristic "COUNTRY" & "ETHNIC". Technical name: COUNTRY__ETHNIC
Values for Country: USA, Australia
Values for Ethnic: Asian, Latino
Possible value combinations with individual text:
USA & Asian; text: "Ling"
USA & Latino; text: "Sanchez"
Australia & Asian; text: "Chu"
Australia & Latino; text: "Garcia"
(Keep in mind the individual text only valid for the specific
combination.)
In analogy to the issue that you reported, you want to restrict this
compounded characteristic. In the window where you select the restrictedvalue (called Selector) you'll see on the left hand side all available
combinations of the characters with an individual text.
You select family name "Chu" and drag'n'drop it to the right side.
Actually you can only restrict the right compounded characteristic. In
our example you would restrict on characteristic "ETHNIC" with value
"Asian". (When you switch on technical names this comes more clear). Thetext "Chu" is displayed in the context of Selector because you selected
value combination Australia & Asian. But in the end it's just a
placeholder(!) for any combination of characteristic "ETHNIC" and value
#Asian#; in our example it could be USA & Asian "Ling" or Australia &
Asian "Chu").
By leaving the Selector the individual text is gone because now the
context is lost between the two characteristics. You have just a
restriction on characteristic "ETHNIC" with value "Asian". An individualtext can't be displayed because the compounded characteristic is not
specified for this restriction.
You're right, it is confusing when "loosing" the text of a restriction.
But accoring to the concepts of the compounded characteristics it
is a correct behavior.

I belive this issue can be resolved by changing the Query proprties for the perticular field.
Kindly check the Field proerties in query designer and ensure that Text is enabled ather than Key.
__Field property check up:__Go to query designer->click onn the field-> Right hand side in properties click on display tab-> select Text in drop down menu of Display as tab.
FURTHER CHECK UP: check the master data avaiulability for the perticular info object, if masterdata is not available, do the text data for txt data availability in report level.

Master data is not getting displayed in the Query Designer

Hi,
I have a DSO in which I have an InfoObject called Emp No. in the Data Field.
The Emp.No is being maintained as master with (Emp Name, Address, Telephone No, DOB) as attributes.
I have loaded the data in the Emp. No. master. Then tried loading the transaction data in DSO.
The Emp.No is there in the DSO active data, but in the query designer its not getting displayed.

Error while trying to Open and Delete a BEx Query in Query Designer.

Hi Experts,
I have been facing this issue with BEx Query in Designer mode for a couple of days now in Development Environment in BI 7.0.
I would like to Delete an unwanted BEx Query because I need to give it's name to another BEx Query.
Whenever I try to Open this Query in BEx Query Designer to Delete, it gives out an error saying:
"An error occurred while communicating with the BI server.
As a result of this error, the system has been
disconnected from the BI server.
Detailed Description:
STOP: Program error is class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
STOP: System eror in program CL_RSR and form GET_CHANMID-01 - (see long text)"
Details text is as below:
Diagnosis
This internal error is an intended termination resulting from a program state that is not permitted.
Procedure
Analyze the situation and inform SAP.
If the termination occurred when you executed a query or Web template, or during interaction in the planning modeler, and if you can reproduce this termination, record a trace (transaction RSTT).
For more information about recording a trace, see the documentation for the trace tool environment as well as SAP Note 899572.
I have tried with SAP Note 899572, but still it's the same.
Has anyone faced similar issue? Could you please let me know if you have better ideas or solution?
