  • Closing stock as off a particular date

    How to write a query for closing stock (in quantity) for all items by group by warehouse for a particular date?
    Thank you.

    the standard stock count in SAP B1 (Inventory>> Inventory Transaction >> Initital Quantity, Inventory Tracking, Stock Posting) is "real time" and not back-dated and the screen will display all items irrespective whether there is stock balance in the system.   Anyone has a query where able to have the stock balance generated at any cut-off date, i.e. the stock count can be back-dated and only display those items with quantity (in the system) as at that cut-off date .
    Thank you.

  • Z table for Closing Stock

    Hi ,
    My  requirement is to make Z table for closing stock.
    As ours is a pharma firm  and we have implemented SAP in Aug 2008.
    Now for  closing stk  we are using S033 and MSEG table to get opening stk
    SELECT SUM( mzubb ) SUM( magbb ) INTO (w_dr_menge , w_cr_menge)
            FROM s033
           WHERE sptag < so_fkdat-low
             AND werks = werks
             AND matnr = matnr.
      w_opening_balance = w_dr_menge - w_cr_menge.
    and for closing stk = opening stk - sale + receive.
    Now the problem is  when we want to retrieve data for closing stk for last month ,it is checking all the records since Aug 2008  for opening stk and it is taking too much time to retrieve data.
    Can anyone plz suggest any alternative for thsi problem.
    I will really appriciate your help.
    Regards,
    Archana

    Hi
    done this before. for sure you will experience an performance problem in your current setup. what we did is we create a program that calculates the ending inventory of the month then beginning inventory of the following month we are executing this in every end of the month. In that case when we need to access the previous month the ztable must be use. make sure that your program can do rerun of the ending and beginning of stock because there are chances of previous posting of reversals.
    Thanks,
    Best regards,

  • Customer support html (html service) - how can i query for 'closed' SRs

    hi,
    11.5.10.2
    in customer support html (html service - CSZ), is there any facility to query for SRs that are in 'closed' status?
    currently, a SR in 'closed' status can only be queried if agent knows the exact SR number. on Advanced Search page, even though the application allows 'closed' status to be selected, it does not return any record.
    help is appreciated, as this is critical to our business.
    regards.

    You can search for Closed SRs. Ensure that the search criteria 'Active' is set to 'No'. This will return back closed SRs.
    Who is the customer? Can you provide some more details on the implementation? (you can send me an email to [email protected])
    Thanks.

  • How  to fire a query for every record in a table, pass values in a loop

    Hi,
    For each record in a table, I want to loop through each record and then fire a query by passing acct, product and date from this table to the where clause of the query. I would have to create a pl/sql block..The output of the query I want to spool from sql developer.
    I need the exact syntax please for doing this.. since i am new to Oracle. Just the template will be enough. I will fill in the query.
    Any help is appreciated as always..

    Regards,
    henaHave you ever considered using a JOIN ? It does the same thing as looping through a table and applying that to the where clause of a select on a query, only much, much, much faster and without the need to write any code. SQL is a declarative language, so you specify what you want and not how to do it. It can be bit of a journey to change your thought process if you come from a procedural or object world, but once you get there it's a beautiful view.

  • Query for one row of each distinct column value

    lets say theres table employee with columns name, id, and title. How do you get one row for each distinct title. Whatever row it is doesnt matter as long as your result set covers every possible employee title. How can I do this? thanks

    Hi,
    I think you're asking about a Top-N Query .
    Since you didn't post a version of your table, I'll use scott.emp to illustrate.
    The following query shows exactly one row of output for each distinct job:
    WITH        got_r_num         AS
         SELECT     empno, ename, job
         ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  job
                                   ORDER BY          ename
                                 ) AS r_num
         FROM    scott.emp
    SELECT     empno, ename, job
    FROM     got_r_num
    WHERE     r_num     = 1
    ;Output:
    `    EMPNO ENAME      JOB
          7902 FORD       ANALYST
          7876 ADAMS      CLERK
          7698 BLAKE      MANAGER
          7839 KING       PRESIDENT
          7499 ALLEN      SALESMANThe rows you see are actual rows from the table, not aggregates. That is, you can be certain that there is a row in the table with empno=7902, ename='FORD' and job='ANALYST'.
    I hope this answers your question.
    If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only), and also post the results you want from that data.
    If the desired results are not unique, that is, if you'd be equally satisfied with a number of different result sets, then post a couple of examples from the same sample data.

  • How to search for a text node with a particular value in an xml document with labview

    supposing i have the following xml document:
    <head>
    <book>
    <bookname>zio</bookname>
    <author>dan</author>
    </book>
    <book>
    <bookname>the spear warrior</bookname>

    </book>
    <book>
    <bookname>the beard</bookname>
    <author>derrick</author>
    </book>
    </head>
    i want to search for the author of the book "the beard" using for example the V.I Get first match  of labview to access the the node with value "the beard" and then use Get next sibling  V.I  and Get node text content to get get the author of this book..so my question is how do i write the xpath expression for Get first match so as to access the node with bookname "the beard" instantyly?  am trying to minimise the use of loops because they increase the time duration,..thank you (NB:i dont want to use Get all Matched V.I because it obliges me to use a loop in order to access the name derrick and this increases the time duration for my v.i)
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Since it's all text, why not use a real quick Match Pattern (or Regular Expression, but you don't need that much power here), see attached.

  • Closing Stock on Particular Date(MB5B Tcode)

    Hi Experts,
    I need closing stock as on some particular date. For e.g. closing stock as on 28.02.2014.
    In my requirement i have to use that closing stock value for further calculations in a new customized report.I can see closing stock value by using MB5B tcode.
    Please suggest some way to get closing stock as on some date so that i can use that in my Report.
    Can i directly call MB5B transaction in my Report and get closing stock value?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pankaj

    Hello Pankaj,
    In your Customised Report use MKPF and MSEG table
    MKPF ----->  Material and date range as the input
    Then Pass Material document number from MKPF to MSEG table
    MSEG ----->  based on material document number from mkpf
    Create Temporary  variable
    values comes from the mseg where have credit and debit entries
    if debit entry "S" then subtract the values of the Mseg table from the temporary variable1
    if credit entry "H" then Add the values of the mseg table to the temporary variable2
    finally Add the temporary variable1 and temporary variable 2 and get the total stock.

    Hi Members,
    We Want a report for closing stock according to the following parameters,

    2-Date to
    3-Warehouse
    4-Document Series
    Query Report should contain with,

    Hi Rahul,
    thank you for reply. You are correct. but in our company we use only 10 document series. under this 10 series all type of
    documents are available . so when we select a one series it is containing all of SAP B1 document type.
    Example-
    Series A- (Delivery , GRN, Return, A/P invoice,A/R Invoice, Payment .....ect)
    Series B- (Delivery , GRN, Return, A/P invoice,A/R Invoice, Payment .....ect)
    Series C- (Delivery , GRN, Return, A/P invoice,A/R Invoice, Paymet .....ect)
    So Results of this Query  will be a meaning full One.
    Can You Suggest a Query for my requirement. I Hope Your Idea.
