Query for MCS server

Hi,
I have purchased the following MCS Server
MCS7825I5-K9-CMD3A
Unified CM 8.6 7825-I5 Appliance, 0 Seats
I find the following part number in the BoM
CCX-85-CMBUNDLE-K9
CCX 8.5 Promo Bundle available only with NEW CUCM or BE6000
But i dont find any PAK number for the same.
My requirement is for small call center therefore I was thinking of using the bundle CCX available with CUCM and wanted both softwares to run on single MCS server for cost saving. contact center users required is only 5.
Please help me with the same.

When we order from DCT, why does the option of Operating System to be ordered by the customer comes, if cisco is already preinstalling it?

Why can't i use "INNER JOIN" in a query for SQL Server with JDBC??????

I'm trying to execute some SQL queries and I just don't understand what's wrong.
I�m using Tomcat and SQL Server in order to do this, but when I�m try to execute a query with a INNER JOIN statements Tomcat raise a SQL exception... at the very first time I thought there was a problem with database connection but I realize that a simple query to a table works pretty well. then I found out some problems with JDBC:ODBC.... so I install JDBC for SQL Server 2000 and test with the same simple query and works..... so, I come to a conclusion.... INNER JOIN or JOIN statements can't be used in JDBC..... please... somebody tell I�m wrong and give me a hand...

That's exactly what I think, driver it's raising the exception, but I don't know why.... i test the same query with INNER JOIN directly from SQL Query Analyser and it's works perfectly, my problem ain't SQL, but JSP and JDBC 'cause i'm a newbie about these issues.
Common sense tell me possible problems lie in SQLServer drivers 'cause i run the same pages on JRUN through jdbc:odbc and do works well, but by now i just depend on Tomcat.....
I've installed SQL Server drivers for JDBC but i just find it doesn't work fully... could be the version of JDK i've installed? what version do i need?
( I'm running Tomcat 4 with JDK 1.4 & SQL Server 2000 W2K )

Outer join query for SQL server from Oracle

My question is regarding making queries from Oracle to SQL Server database thorugh DBLink.
In my oracle database I have a DBLink emp.world for SQL Server database.
I need to query SQL Server data from oracle (so that this query can be combined with other oracle tables).
Query is given below:

        a."EmpID" as "Employee ID",
        a."EmpStatus" "Employee Status"
        b."EmpSub" as "Employee Subjects"

        left outer join [email protected] b on a."EmpID" = b."suEmpID"
ORDER BY a."EmpID";My problem is when I run the same query from oracle, it does not show the EmpID that does not exist in Subjects table, but when run from actual SQL Server database, it shows all the records.

From your description, it appears you may need a right outer join. You want to get back all the rows from 'B', not from 'A'. Try a right join and let us know.

adf can`t not recognize this expression--> NAME_OF_COLUMN=:BIND_VARIABLE(fa_movimientos.codprv = fa_proveedores.codprv )

the way of doing my query is like this:

i defined my variable PV_CODPRV and set bind position to 0. I m gona try if this works.

What is the best way to query for the roles of a 2013 Lync server?

I am new to Lync.
I am not able to find, but if anyone already asked and got answers in this forum, or documentation I will be much appreciate.
I would like to programmatically ( powershell wmi most likely)

Typically returns a lot of installed components, is there a way to tell whether a lync ( 2013) installation and deployment is either a Front/Back, or Edge or Mediation?

What if, I use get-counter instead?
E.g. if I am able to get something returned for
\LS:A/V Edge - UDP Counters(_Total)\A/V Edge - Packets Dropped/sec , then I know it has Edge role
\LS:MediationServer then it has Mediation role
But then I really cannot tell for sure for FF or just Standard Editor Server.
It is the list of server roles described in here that I am interested in. I understand Lync is very flexible in terms of deployment roles.

Preparing MCS server for install CUCM/UC

Hello,
Wanted to know what tools do you guys use to have an MCS server with already installed UCM or UC or Windows2003. This implies to partitioning the hard drives correctly (if they are not) according to the UCM / UC build requirements (any supporting doc would be great) and Formating them?etc etc. I'd like to know what you guys are using to get things going in preping the server prior to the installation i.e. popping the installer cd. Not sure if the installer Images includes these such tools.. please share your experience.

Guess my question was too broad, sorry about that. I'm preping an mcs 7835i2 server for UC713 install. Currently it's aborting and throwing error related to bios. I'll include the log from the dump after aborting as follows:

BIOS on the server is Ver: 1.12, I believe year 2008. After researching, it seems like there is a compatibility issue between this version of bios and what's been put in the UC installer cd to look for. The question is whether I need a downgrade or upgrade on bios, can only be known if I get to know what the UC cd is looking for so adjustments can be made to bios. For bios update i have to go to ibm. Not sure if anyone ran into this? would like your thoughts on it.

How to access the datasource window in SSRS for sql server 2008 R2 for writing my query without having to go through the wizard?

I have used SSRS a lot years ago with Sql Server 2000 and Sql Server 2005. I have written external assemblies, ... But now I have to do this with Sql Server 2008 (R2 -- which I realize I am way behind the times already but ...) in sql server 2000 and
2005 there was a tab for datasource to the left of the tab for design which was to the left of the preview tab. How do I get to the datasource window in sql server 2008 (r2) ?
I see that datasource explorer. But where can I get to the datasource window to edit my queries and so forth for sql server 2008 (R2)?

I think I found the answer to my question --- just right-click on the the Data Sources or Datasets for editing connections and dataset queries. I'm guessing it gets even fancier with Sql Svr 2012 - 2014. Man, that's the one thing
about coding platforms -- you let it go for a few years and come back, and everything has changed (well, a lot of things). Now I need to figure out how to add an external assembly to SSRS 2008 (R2).

Urgent: How to list all alias for a server throw DNS query?

Is there anyone know how to list all alias for a server by asking the network DNS. Is that possible?
It doesn't work with InetAddress it return a single result.

InetAddress will not get you the aliases, but you can certainly find all the different IP addresses for a specific host name using the getAllByName() method.
You won't be able to get the aliases since those IP addresses (assuming there are more than 1) will all be cached as mapping to the name you passed to the getAllByName() method and you can't clear the map cache until the JVM exits.
So your best hope is to get a list of IP's and either exit your app and restart with a new mode, or save them to a file for another app to read.

IPIVR 7.0(1) OS Disks for HP server

Hello,
Quick simple query.
I've received only the IPIVR 7.0(1) installation/Upgrade disk, but not the OS disk :-(..
Would there be any issues with installing the Cisco Meetingplace OS 2003.1.2a DVD for HP server onto this intended IPIVR server?
Is it supported??
I personally see no reason for it to fail, but would like to ask you all before I consult with Cisco.

Hi,
The Meeting Place OS may not be the same OS for an IVR/UCCX. The CD Media should state IP Telephony Operating System with version after this such as 2003.1.2a. This is the same OS that the older CUCM used before Linux. Generally the OS will either come in a separate shipment or it is with the MCS server.

Error while running query for a specific table

Hi All,
I need your help please.
I've configured everything correctly in my SCCM environment. And i used to connect the CAS database from a separate box(same domain) which has SSMS console installed in it. Now the problem is, whenever i try to run a query in CAS database locally, it runs
successfully. But when i connect the CAS database remotely and run the same query with the same login i used in CAS, it says the below error. This is happening from past 2 days only. :'(
Query ran :
select top 100 * from v_GS_WORKSTATION_STATUS
Error :
Msg 18456, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "abc.domain.com" returned message "Invalid connection string attribute".
I checked the SQL connection authentication information it says authenticated by kerberos using below query :

According to your description, you get the logon issue when connecting to CAS database remotely and execute query. Right?
In this scenario, this error can happen when the SPN account is registered without setting 'trusted for delegation' property. Account must be trusted for delegation in order for Kerberos delegation to succeed. Here's a blog talking about your scenario, please

Delete WorkBook and Query file from Server .

How we going to remove the remove the workbook or query files from Server ? bc i tried to delete from Analyzer(excel 2007), the file is deleted from the view , but havent delete from the server... So how i going to remove the file from server ?

Problem with query for Oracle

I'm tryng to develop my first application for EP (v7 SP12) with NWDS (without NWDI).
This application has to read and write data in the EP DB (oracle v10).
I'm using:
a Dictionary Project (define the DB Tables)
a Java Project (define class as DAO, DBManager etc)
a Library Project
an EJB Project
an EAR Project
With these projects I can deploy a webService in my EP server.
BUT I have some problem with a query that I'm tryng to sent to my DB through a DAO Class called by my WebService.
The query is simple and correct but it does not work...

The variable '?' is the today date, the difference "(?-GIORNO)" is an int..

We have tryed also with alternative query, for example we used "MIN(SYSDATA - GIORNO)" but SYSDATA was interpreted as column name and not found....

Hi, I found something about the Host Variable (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ed/dbf8b7823b084f80a6eb7ad43bdbb9/content.htm), there explain that if you want to use an host variable you have to put ':' as prefix..
My problem is that I need to extract the minimum of the subtraction between two dates:
Query MIN(? - GIORNO) --> Error: the arithmetic expression >>? - "GIORNO"<< contains a host variable (parameter marker)
So I tried to use the ':' as indicated in the manual..
MIN:(? - GIORNO) --> - SQL syntax error: the token ":" was not expected here
 - expecting LPAREN, found ':'
MIN(:(? - GIORNO)) --> - 1:25 - Open SQL syntax error: :PARAMETER not allowed
 - 1:26 - SQL syntax error: the token "(" was not expected here
 - 1:26 - expecting ID, found '('
Then I tried to avoid the MIN() function and I tried to do just the subtraction:
? - GIORNO --> - 1:21 - the arithmetic expression >>? - "GIORNO"<< contains a host variable (parameter marker)

How to build sql query for view object at run time

Hi,
I have a LOV on my form that is created from a view object.
View object is read-only and is created from a SQL query.
SQL query consists of few input parameters and table joins.
My scenario is such that if input parameters are passed, i have to join extra tables, otherwise, only one table can fetch the results I need.
Can anyone please suggest, how I can solve this? I want to build the query for view object at run time based on the values passed to input parameters.

As I understand you want to change the query at run time.
If this is what you want, you can use setQuery Method then use executeQuery.

Erro while running query for a Scheduled work book

The following error found while running query for a schedule workbook:
ORA-12801: Error signaled in parallel query server P000
ORA-01652: uable to extend temp segment by 14720 in tablespace SYSTEM
ORA-27068: skgfdisp: buffer is not aligned properly
OSD-04005: SetFilePointer() failure, unable to read it from file
We are using discoverer 4.1.
Any help is highly appreciated.
