Query in CCMS

Hi ALL,
my query is very blunt , anyways i even dont have more details thn this .
1.     Is there any way we can get the alerts for the interfaces to be sent through SNMP?
2.       If yes, is it only through the configuration of CCMS on SolMan? Or is there another way?
can any one send me some document for CCMS in PI 7.1. anything like step by step guide,
thanks
Souz

  • CCX 9.0.2 AXL/SOAP query to CCM

    I am trying to create a script in CCX 9.0 premium ha that can perform an AXL/SOAP query on the CCM 9.1 cluster where CCX is registered. What I am trying to do is replicate the forced auth code functionality for a downstream PBX that is behind an MGCP QSIG gateway. I am collecting digits for the FAC. I want to query the facinfo table on CCM, and then transfer the call if I find a match. I have found a number of SOAP examples, but I am not quite able to connect all the dots. I was trying to do it with a URL document, but that step throws an exception because it doesn't trust the self signed cert from CCM.I get the feeling that this step won't allow me to properly format the SOAP query anyway. I can't imagine I am the first person to ever want to do this, but I haven't been able to find anything. I so wish I could just make a JDBC connection to CCM...

    Based on Aaron's comments, I decided to try and adapt/bludgeon the UCMGetUserByExtension java class from Tanner Ezell. I would cite the article number where he posted that, but I can't find it.
    Big disclaimer here. I used to do some C development 15+ years ago, but I have never done Java. I realize that makes me a total neophyte, so I apologize in advance if my questions are overly simple.
    I am trying just to recompile the original source and the current javac (jdk-7u67-windows-i586) is throwing an error. Here is the code block in question exactly as it was formatted in the original JAR file:
          UCMGetUserByExtension localUCMGetUserByExtension = new UCMGetUserByExtension(); UCMGetUserByExtension
            tmp397_395 = localUCMGetUserByExtension;tmp397_395.getClass();localObject1 = new UCMGetUserByExtension.MyTrustManager(tmp397_395);
          TrustManager[] arrayOfTrustManager = { localObject1 };
    The error I get from javac is as follows:
    z:UCMGetUserByExtension.java:56: error: non-static variable this cannot be referenced from a static context
            tmp397_395 = localUCMGetUserByExtension;tmp397_395.getClass();localObjec
    t1 = new UCMGetUserByExtension.MyTrustManager(tmp397_395);
         ^
    z:UCMGetUserByExtension.java:57: error: cannot find symbol
          TrustManager[] arrayOfTrustManager = { localObject1 };
                                                 ^
      symbol:   variable localObject1
      location: class UCMGetUserByExtension
    3 errors
    2 warnings
    I tried defining localObject1 instead as "UCMGetUserByExtension localObject1", but then I get this error "non-static variable this cannot be referenced from a static context". I found some articles on stackoverflow, so I redefined MyTrustManager as "static public class" instead of just "public class", but that caused this error "constructor MyTrustManager in class MyTrustManager cannot be applied to given types". I feel pretty certain that is fairly elementary java data typing, but the answer has eluded me thus far. :-(

  • Query regarding CCMS alert in XI

    Hi XI gurus,
    We have some queries regarding the CCMS alert configuration in XI server. We are planing to implement CCMS alerts for Message failure in IE, Adapter Engine, Queue Block, etc.
    Can anyone please let us know what exactly should be done by BASIS team and XI(Dev/Support) team.
    Thanks
    Suganya.

    I have not done this  but was implemented in my projects
    I am providing some links which you can use with help of BASIS

    You should basically aim at configuring SOLMAN as your central alert cerver so that you will receive alerts from DEV QA PROD boxes of PI , ABAP in one system , no need to configure alerts separately

  • Query on CCM

    hai Friends
    If CCM and EBP are in one client and SUS supplier directory is replicated to CCM.So is it necessary to again replicate using sourcing cockpit,bid invitation,bp,vendorlist from CCM to EBP or it is not required
    Regards
    Krishna

    Hi Krishna,
    You will also have to transfer the vendor to EBP.
    e.g. You have a newly registered and accepted vendor in ROS catalog. This catalog you call in bidding process and select a supplier for bidding. You would also need this vendor to access the SRM system to participate in bidding process for which you will have to have this vendor available in EBP as well.
    I hope this answers to your question.

  • "AstService namespace is not valid" error when querying CCM 4.1 when Axis

    Hi,
    I'm trying to query a CCM with the Axis Java Soap API and I'm receiving a Fault response saying "AstService namespace is not valid"
    I have tried with SAAJ API from Sun (similar to Axis) and it works fine.
    What's wrong ?
    Thanks
    Seb

    Could you trace the soap exchange and post it here? You obviously have a namespace issue.. also, the code how you set up your service endpoint might be of use, too. I have AXL working via AXIS (but I'm using handwritten XML since AXL just doesn't work without hacking WSDLs and I have better things to do than worry about breaking apps when installing a ccm patch) so we could compare the code.

  • Question on CCM?

    hi Friends
    Query on CCM. Please let me know.
    If we are uploading xml content do we need to have CAT & CSE in different clients or in different servers.
    Thanks
    Regards
    surya

    Hi,
    As per jason from SAP said when we upload xml file type XI Must be configured.
    CAT&CSE not must be in different clients or in different servers. We can setup in same client and in same server also, depend upon the requirement and system performance.
    Thanks

  • Custom Directory service

    Hi everyone,
    I've been trying to create a custom directory service, that would allow me to search the directory using the first name or last name, but only among certain users, eg. those who have "dep1" written in their department field. Is that possible? I tried using the LDAPSearch component, but it doesn't seem to provide the functionality that I need.
    Also, I noticed that in the default directory service "UMX.UMDefaultProviderX" is used instead of LDAPSearch, though I didn't manage to find any documentation on that one. Any information on that component would also be really helpful.
    Thank you,
    Cheers,
    Victor

    Hi Paul,
    I've got another question for you ~ I'm able to pull the department info out of the DC Directory, though when I try to display the results, I get a parser error on the phone.
    I know that it has to do with the fact that only "Telephone" and "Name" are defined as extensions for the CiscoIPPhoneDirectoryEntryType object, and I tried using a field called "Department". So how can I get the phone to display something that isn't defined in the schema?
    If I query the CCM from a browser the directory entry comes back fine with the appropriate DepartmentNumber as configured from the CCM Admin Global Directory, though I just don't know how to get it to display it on the phone ... Any ideas?
    I've attached my xmldirectorylist.asp file for reference.
    Thanks in advance!

    Computing Center Management System (CCMS)
    From SAPnet:
    Using the Monitoring Architecture of the Computing Center Management System (CCMS), SAP provides a flexible and universally applicable infrastructure, with which you can monitor the entire IT landscape centrally and which quickly and reliable reports problems that occur.
    The Monitoring Architecture is delivered with every SAP Web Application Server with no additional costs and can be used immediately after installation. The architecture runs on all SAP Web Application Servers and can easily be extended with SAP and non-SAP components.

  • Query regarding auto e-mail notification for ccms

    Hi,
    I want to configure auto e-mail notifications for ccms alerts.
    I have configured ccms monitoring for our landscape on the solution manager.I went through the SAP documentation and it mentions that we have to do the SCOT settings and CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 method settings in client 000.But we already have  the SCOT config done in 100.
    My question is can i complete the rest of the config in 100 or i have to do everything in client 000 only.
    Thanks,
    Shashank

    No Shashank. I dont think this is required. You need not have to redo everything in 000 client.
    You only have to create the user in 000 client.
    Might be you have to create an RFC connection between your 000 client and the 100 client. I will confirm this to you tomorrow or so. Make sure the user has required authorizations in 000 client.
    best regds,
    Alagammai.

  • Having a few issues with several programs (tor / mpd / ccm..)

    Hey everybody,
    I'll arrange this post in 3 parts since I have 3 different kinds of "major" problems or questions .
    1st ( tor - privoxy - polipo - iptables )
    I somehow found this article in your wiki and therefore tried to get tor and privoxy up and running on my desktop machine, as this didn't work as I hoped it would I searched farther in the wiki and installed and configured (as far as I've thought of) polipo and iptables.
    Now I've put all 4 of them in my rc.conf, but somehow some of my http connections don't seem to work in chromium while iptables is running (https works fine though [e.g. archwiki works, youtube doesn't]).
    I did everything as suggested in the polipo wiki entry, meaning I changed my /etc/iptables/iptables.rules to
    *nat
    :PREROUTING ACCEPT [0:0]
    :POSTROUTING ACCEPT [0:0]
    :OUTPUT ACCEPT [0:0]
    -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -m owner --uid-owner polipo -j ACCEPT
    -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 8123
    COMMIT
    and removed all proxy settings from my browser - meaning all corresponding flags in the startcommand. I also added "forward / localhost:8123" to the privoxy config and changed the polipo configuration according to the wiki in order to work with tor (the socksParentProxy, socksProxyType part).
    now the next problem - that might probably be related to the first - is that my privoxy doesn't load in daemon mode anymore.
    I think it's since I've installed polipo that privoxy began to refuse starting together with the other daemons
    [usR@machine ~]$ privoxy
    Apr 23 00:20:56.459 b75086c0 Fatal error: can't check configuration file '/home/usR/config': No such file or directory
    this is the output I get when I try to start privoxy in normal user mode from the terminal, when I try starting the daemon manually (/etc/rc.d/privoxy start) it says
    touch: cannot touch `/var/log/privoxy/logfile': Permission denied
    chgrp: cannot access `/var/log/privoxy/logfile': Permission denied
    chmod: cannot access `/var/log/privoxy/logfile': Permission denied
    touch: cannot touch `/var/log/privoxy/jarfile': Permission denied
    chgrp: cannot access `/var/log/privoxy/jarfile': Permission denied
    chmod: cannot access `/var/log/privoxy/jarfile': Permission denied
    Apr 23 00:22:34.490 b76396c0 Fatal error: Cannot setgid(): Insufficient permissions.
    [/var/log/privoxy belongs to privoxy:adm]
    when I do the same in sudo mode it just fails without displaying an error message..
    I added this code to the /etc/rc.d/privoxy executable but I still get this owner conflict error and I have no idea what might be causing it.
    if [ ! -d /var/log/privoxy ]
    then
    mkdir /var/log/privoxy
    touch /var/log/privoxy/errorfile
    touch /var/log/privoxy/logfile
    chown -R privoxy:adm /var/log/privoxy
    fi
    If the order of the daemons in rc.conf is of any real importance here a copy of my setup
    ( @polipo @privoxy @syslog-ng !set-hw-addr !iptables @network netfs hddtemp @crond hal dbus @alsa @slim @tor )
    2nd ( mpd & mpc )
    I'm just wondering if there's a way to output the position of a track in the current playlist combined with a search. since mpc search <type> <query> only prints out full file path and name, but not the position in the playlist so that you could play it with mpc play. I thought of a method to print out the whole list with mpc playlist and pipe this output into a listing program, than grep out the song I'm looking for all that in a little bash script, to replace mpc search.
    Is there an integrated mpc search function that works the way I imageine it and my idea therefore redundant, or if not, is it realizable the way I picture it; does such a listing program exist?
    3rd ( cairo-compmgr )
    Since I'm already posting here I thought I'd mention my older problem which I  still couldn't solve.
    1st) I need to start cairo-compmgr(-git) in sudo mode to be able to edit any settings or activate the gui in any way. how do I automatically start the program on startup in sudo mode? I tried editing ~/.fluxbox/startup & ~/.fluxbox/init, even tried adding it in /etc/rc.d/ and /etc/rc.conf in order to start it as a daemon (lol, noob) but none of that worked properly obviously Any ideas? I don't want to start it manually and "waste" a terminal window for that every time I boot.
    2nd) I can change opacity (transparency) in both versions only per hotkey, and when I do so the settings don't get saved, they even get reset to normal opacity as soon as another window gets selected. does anybody know if there's a config file or any way to save opacity settings for certain windows & programs, so that they automatically get loaded when cairo starts and stay applied until it gets closed?
    [or generally: how do I configure the Plugins? ]
    the last "problem" which occurs only with cairo-compmgr-git:
    When I rightclick the ccm icon in the task bar and disable the composite desktop, the whole program kills itself oO
    In the old version the option "Composite desktop"'s box just got un-checked and I could easily restart ccm by rightclicking the logo again and re-enabling the "Composite desktop" option.
    Any clues on that by any chance?
    I'm using Fluxbox by the way, if that's of any importance for any of the problems. hope I didn't forget any important information if so please remind me
    Would be thankful for any kind of help
    have a nice weekend
    deF
    //edit:
    concernig the tor / privoxy problem, I managed getting all the daemons to start up at bootup again, my iptables situation remains the same though.
    I went through all the config files again and played around with chown and chmod a little and for now the system is stable, everytime I reboot all the daemons start without any problems.
    but when i start chromium with --proxy-server=localhost:8118 now, I get the following error message
    The following error occurred while trying to access http://torcheck.xenobite.eu/index.php?:
    504 Connect to torcheck.xenobite.eu:80 failed: SOCKS error: network unreachable
    Generated Sat, 23 Apr 2011 04:49:08 CEST by Polipo on archzor.localdomain:8118.
    notably with all programs running now, tor, polipo, privoxy (and by now dansguardian as well)..
    I'm tired so I'll go asleep now, maybe I'll find something tomorrow in the logfiles or whatever, so far:
    every kind of help is still very appreciated

    okay I've finally been able to get tor and all the other programs to work according to my plan the only thing that's still making problems is that iptables doesn't work as I want it to, when I start chromium without proxy settings privoxy doesn't seem to forward the information to polipo.. do I need to add another rule to iptables.rules in order for the program to know it has to reroute the information again or how can I get this to work? and is there any way to run rtorrent with proxy support?
    anyway, problem 2 and 3 are still to be solved.
    and does anybody know where i can get a good dansguardian blacklist that was not designed for 6 year old children and for which I don't need to subscribe? I'm still getting these partypoker popups -.-
    //e: with iptables it's the same thing as described in the first post. https works, http doesnt. I get the output "Invalid header received from client." on http sites. still no idea why though.. (and the https-version of torcheck.xenubite says i'm tor unprotected while starting the browser with iptables)

  • Enabling/Disabling a button in Web appl. based on exception in a Query

    Hi all,
    I am wondering whether we can grey out a button in the web applic. designer based on whether a report has an exception showing.
    So now we can enable or disable a button, so at runtime, when the web app runs, and a condition is visible in the analysis item table, then the button (save for example) should be disabled, otherwise if there are no exceptions then it should be enabled.
    I am thinking Javascript, but not sure how to read the exceptions in a web apps query?
    Thanks for any help forwarded.

    Hi Sumit,
    just add one more attribute of type wdy_boolean, and bind this attribute to readonly property of button by coding.
    then as per your cell value set the attribute value, below is the some sample code.
    METHOD wddoinit .
      DATA: lv_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,
            lt_mara TYPE ig_componentcontroller=>elements_mara,
            wa_mara TYPE ig_componentcontroller=>element_mara.
      SELECT matnr
             ersda
             ernam
             mtart
             matkl
             meins FROM mara INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE lt_mara
                                     WHERE meins = 'GM' OR meins = 'CCM'.
      SORT lt_mara BY meins.
      lv_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_mara ).
      LOOP AT lt_mara INTO wa_mara.
        IF wa_mara-meins = 'GM'.
          wa_mara-readonly = 'X'.
        ELSE.
          wa_mara-readonly = ' '.
        ENDIF.
        MODIFY lt_mara FROM wa_mara TRANSPORTING readonly.
        lv_node->bind_structure(  SET_INITIAL_ELEMENTS = ABAP_FALSE
                                  new_item = wa_mara ).
      ENDLOOP.
      lv_node->bind_table( new_items = lt_mara ).
    ENDMETHOD.

  • How to change an existing line item in CCM catalog using CSV file?

    Dear All,
    We are using SRM5.0 and CCM 2.0
    We have uploaded the material and service master to CCM as supplier catalog from R/3.
    The initial Upload was doen successfully.
    My query is how to reflect the delta changes in CCM happening in R/3?
    If I can generate a CSV file with all those items wich has been changed (Changes can be in description, Plant, status etc) and upload the same file in CCM, will it update the existing line in CCM or create a new line item?
    How do i update an existing line item in CCM catalog using a CSV file?
    Thanks
    Abhishek

    Hi Atul,
    I am using CCM 2.0 and SRM 5.0 (EBP5.5).
    We are not using XI, so i guess we cant use the program "/ccm/file_upload".
    we have migrated the product master data from R/3.
    We have developed a report which takes product category as input and gives out flat file in csv format containg all the items in that prod category.
    Then we upload the file in CCM by logging thro the brpwser.
    Similarly, i can develop another program which will give me a CSV file foll all those items changed in R/3 in a day.
    Then we can upload that file in CCM.
    But i have doubt if it will update the existing items in catalog.
    Hope I could make myself clear.
    Thanks
    Abhishek

  • "Error [10151] The LCP Port on CCM Admin for Mobile Agent is not Configured or misconfigured"

    We are running into a problem which we have noticed on UCCE 8.5 and havent seen on earlier 7.5 release.
    If we setup a CTI port as agent device target and if we try to login the agent using Cisco Desktop (Not CAD, just CTI OS Client) then we get following error:
    "Error [10151] The LCP Port on CCM Admin for Mobile Agent is not Configured or misconfigured"
    But this wasnt the issue with 7.5 and we were able to do agent login with CTI Port as device target. We dont intend to use Mobile Agent feature but just login UCCE agent to CTI port as the device.
    Do we know if this is a known issue or if something has changed between 7.x and 8.x release which could be is causing this?

    So you can ping and nslookup from your ms to these agents and vice versa right?  I wouldn't do a manual install, I would push the agent from the management server.  You can uninstall the agent manually, or use cleanmom to get rid of them.  Then
    do an install from the console.  When you initiate the install from the console (management server), should it run into any issues it will dump out an error which will give you an idea of where the problem may be.

    1.  Ensure agent push account has local admin rights
    2.  Firewall is blocking NetBIOS access.  If Windows 2008 firewall is enabled, ensure “Remote Administration (RPC)” rule is enabled/allowed.  We need port 135 (RPC) and the DCOM port range opened for console push through a firewall.
    3.  Inspect WMI service, health, and rebuild repository if necessary
    4.  Firewall is blocking ICMP  (Live OneCare)
    5.  DNS incorrect
