Query in RRI / Jump Targets

Hello Gurus,
I am querying on the FI-Ageing Analysis. The report is from an infocube. I have created a jump target, which in turn goes an ODS Query. In an ageing report, I have a total Overdue Balance (OB),OB between 0-30 days, OB between 30-60 and 60-90 days. The report is displayed on the customers. When I right click the value in one of the customers 60-90 days column (for eg.) , the jump target takes me to the ODS report but it shows me the line item documents for the total balance of the customer, while I am interested in seeing the documents of only overdue between 60-90 days.
Has anyone encountered this situation. Pls guide.
Thanks in advance

  • BW RRI JUMP TARGETS

I have to work on some SAP BW security stuff like authorizations at infoobject level and other related stuff (ex: RRI jump targets to specific TCODE in R3 - should not have access to other TCODES from the tcode which you are in R3). I am not sure what else I need to do and this is a Brand New implementation. So if anybody has worked on the BW security, can you please provide me with any documentation you have.
Any documentation/presentations or any guidance/links in this regard will be very helpful to me.
Thanks in advance for your help

  • Can multiple RRI jump targets co-exist in Web Appl.

    Hi,
I have a Web Appl. with multiple jump targets.  When jump to first target, system create a new window for the target report.  When I go back to the main report to jump to 2nd jump target.  System reuses the same sub report window to display the 2nd jump target report.  It means I can have only one target report open.  Is there way to work around the problem to have multiple jump target reports open at the same time?
    Thanks,
    Frank

    Hi Frank,
You could do a CTRL+N on your sender report for it to open up in a new window, and then do the second RRI jump from here..but this way you will have one extra window for each target report displayed. Does this hapen even if you ALT-TAB back to the sender report?

  • RRI - Jump Target

    Hi ALL,
I have a requirement where i have to Create a RRI in bex Reporting, How can i introduce RRI interface for one query to another. Is BI 7.0 supports RRI ? if so How it will process and works ,What are the settings lieing in sender and Receiver and Assgnment Details. Does Query1 and Query2 has atleast one info object common? what if not.
It would be great if anyone answer
    Thanks
    Dolly.

    Hi dolly,
For example, Suppose you created two cube CUBE A ( which contains Company code , Customer, Revenue) and  Cube B (Controlling Area, Region, Price) . so There is no common column.
On cube A you created query QUERYA
On cube B you created query QUERYB
    GOTO>>> RSBBS,
    sender>>>CUBEA/QUERYA
    REPORT TYPE>>>>BW Bex query
    Target>>>> Local
    receiver report>>> CUBEB/QUERYB
    save it.
after you run the query in analyzer
Right click on the repor>>>> goto >>>> QUERYB. it will jump.
But Unlike the other it will just jump from QUERY A TO QUERY B. But its not jumping into the query w.r.to particular charecteristic.I mean for the respective region you can't find the detail information like product, and billing document, customer. For these thing threre should be common charecteristic.

  • RRI Jump Target Issue, IMP

How do I jump from one query to another with a set of values. I want a query to run for a set of all customers for a specific customer group from 0cust_sales.
I tried both options using InfoObject and Variable and different options in selection type(Parameters, Single values...)
with a specific customer record, it runs fine, if I right click go-to from customer or customer group header, it returns all customers from all groups. How do I restrict this?

I want an aging query by customer group.
I have aging query by customer(0DEBITOR)
I have customers by customer group in 0CUST_SALES.
So I chose to jump by customer group to that aging query by passing the Customer numbers for the specific group chosen.
I am half successful. I can get results on a customer by customer basis by right clicking on a specific customer.
If i right click on group and choose go to, it is resulting in a single record for that customer in that line.
if i right click either on customer group or customer in the header line, it is resulting in all customers which i dont want.

  • Urgent !!RRI(Jump target )!!

When I am jumping from one Query to another Query,
    For Example
    Avg Score----
    No of Response
    <2.0----
    3
    >2 and <3 -
    5
    >3----
    5
So when I click <2 in my MAIN report ,is it necessary that I have to pass that <2 parameter in a Variable Screen of my supporting report or without passing that parameters,Can I view my data  of the reponses name in detail in the range <2.0 in my supporting i.e detailed report ?????????One more thing is ,it is a KEY FIGURE where i cannot use in varible screen.U need a characteristic for that .
Any ideas are highly appreaciable & Quite Urgent too.
    Thnx a

I think rather than drilling down from <2.0 you have to drill down on the value 3.
When you go to the detail report you can see the details of these 3 records and those records will be having the average score less than 2.0 (that is the reson why they are getting counted in your main query as <2.0)..

  • Jump Targets from the web

I have a query with a jump target which is another BW query. When the sender query is run in BEx i can go to the jump target and it excutes fine with the proper filter values being passed.  When the sender query is executed from the web the jump target query comes up but no filter values are passed.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • In RRI, how to locate the Jump Target  for a Query

    Hi all,
I want to find the Jump Targets for a particular Query. How can I find it in which table, PLEASE ?
    Thanks.

    Hi Venkat Kodi,
If you want to use Jump Targets with R-R-I you have to explicitly create them using T.Code: RSBBS. Then select the Source Query /Source system / Target Report.
If you want to locate the Target Query already created for a particular query. In BEx Report, Right-Click and use Go to  --> Target Query.
    Hope this Helps,
    Cheers,
    Raj

  • Jump target RRI from BW report to CRM Portal

    Hello Experts,
Need to create a Jump target from the BW query to CRM Portal Tcode CRMD_ORDER.
I am passing the transaction number ( similar to sales order in R/3) to this tcode CRMD_ORDER in CRM
    Step1) create the receiver
Type: Transaction. Defined the source system and entered the Tcode CRMD_ORDER in the 'report' field.
    Receiver is created
    Assignment. details:
    I can see the source infobject 0CRM_OBJ_ID from the Infobject column; Type : Infobject; Field name : OBJECT_ID / GV_OBJECT_ID;
OBJECT_ID is the table field in the CRM System for the transaction number.
GV_OBJECT_ID is the screen field name in the CRM system for TCODE CRMD_ORDER.
I tried with both the OBJECT_ID and GV_OBJECT_ID.
Expected result: Open the Tcode CRMD_ORDER with the transaction number eg: 1000001 that is passed from the Bex report. Currently that is not happening. It is opening Tcode CRMD_ORDER but not the document 1000001. I have to manually open it.
Please suggest if anything got missed in the definetion of RSBBS.
    Regards,
    BWer

    Hi,
What I found out so far is that by using a URL like
    http://...:8060/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBP_POC_DISPLY?sap-client=300&sap-language=EN&PO_GUID=490622657B526483E10000000A0A3D25
in RRI it is possible to jump from a BW web report to SRM to display a corresponding purchase order. This URL uses the PO_GUID, but with help of a couple of lines of ABAP in a custom BSP I was able to use the PO number instead of the GUID, too.
In general I  am looking for URL's do display purchase oders, shopping carts and confirmations in SRM and URL parameters that can be used. Or anything related to that topic.
From my experience users find it very useful to easily jump from BW into the original transactions to clarify potential issues there. I have implemented this a lot in the past with BW and classic R/3 GUI transactions, so I'm looking for a way to implement this with SRM as well.
    Best regards,
    Rudolf

  • RRI - Jump query

    Hi SDN,
Both queries work indepedently but refuse to work through RRI/Jump. The receiver query returns 'No applicable data found' while there is data on both sides at the most granular level.
What values/parameters are passed from the sender query and how does the receiver query uses them to fetch data? Our sender query is over a Multiprovider and the receiver query is over an infoset.
I am more interested in the inner workings of RRI (to resolve this problem) than the procedure to set up jump which I know.
Also, on the field assignment button, the Check and delete buttons do not do anything. Any suggestions? And what is the purpose of field assignment window?
    Thanks.
    Saf.

By default, all char from the row are transferred as selections to the corresponding filters in the target query ('generically' option).
I am not sure whether something which is not a char in the sender can be sent to the receiver, probably not.
The definition is in the assignment tab. If you do a F1 on the individual cells there, it will explain how the assignment options are to be used.
    - Added -
Right, what you say above. I am not sure if there is any way to pass the sender's variables to the receiver.

  • 2 jump targets in one Query

    Hi,
is there a way to define 2 jump targets in one query.
For example you have 10 Lines, and the first 5 have one jump target if you click on
a field and will jump to queryT1 and the last 5 lines have another target for the field and will jump to queryT2.
How can I do this, maybe someone knows a tutorial or something...
    Thanks

    Hi
I think u can't achieve that because all that data are present in the same query o/p so how can u jump from one data to another data .

  • Report-to-Report Interface, Jump Target

    Dear Friends,
Can anybody help me to Understand ,how to use RRI Interface and the Scenario of Jump Target ?
I will be thankful , If I am Explained with a Small Example , So that I can follow the Procedures
    Thanks

    H I Ramesh,
see best example..  genrate one query on master data...  and  another query  on transactiona data..( but make sure that... your transactional query should contain atleast one field  that exist in first query)
for  example.. generate one Query on Employee master data...(that contan- EMPNO , ENAME , ADDRESS)
nad generate  second Query   on Employee transactional data ..( that contain..
EMPNO , SAL, BONUS , INCENTIVES , LEAVES ) like this..
now  go to RSBBS tcode... and give the first query name.. and in  the down give the second query name..save it..
now go to BEX and execute your first query..  and  in that select any EMPLOYEE NUMBER and  right click it--> and  select second query name.. ..
now you can able to see  that particular employee details only..
    regards

  • RRI Jump on variables

    HI All,
I have a jump configured in RSBBS from 7.0 query (source query) to 7.0 template having only one query (target query).
My requirement is to have target query ALWAYS hard filtered (characteristics restriction) on replacement path variable and soft filtered depending on source of jump. Later these soft filters might be removed by users to get full view within hard filtered characteristics restrictions.
Therefore, I have a replacement path variable in Characteristic restriction section of target query on infoobject "opportunity number". There is nothing attached to infoobject in Default Values section.
    Now following are two scenarios:
    1. Jump from specific opportunity number on source query
    2. Jump on header of column (opportunity number)
Now after executing those scenarios, when I remove all (soft filters) from query, it results in TWO different data sets, whereas it should have resulted only in one unique data set (hard filtered characteristics restrictions).
Is this possible, if yes What should be wrong?
When we remove soft filters, will the replacement path variable be re evaluated? Meaning, are the hard filters evaluated only once?
    Abhijeet

    Hi Rikard.
You can use the assignment details when creating the RRI to set the restriction of the infoobjects that "go misisng" when jumping from formulas, to "required". That will force the user to select values when jumping, I think, so a rather dirty workaround, but you will be able to limit the number of records...
If the "missing" restrictions in the formulas are present in the selections (the other key figures) as variables, you should be able to use the "Type" field in assingment details to map the variables to the target query.
(But then you would have to think about situations, where fx you got version in two other columns and got plan and rea respectively - would you want both to pass on, or what?....well, on the other hand, maybe you dont have to worry about such situations, because the fact that you got calculations going on means that you got a meaningful join of restricted values...)
    Regards
    Jacob
