Query log file location?

Is log file is created when query has completed execution, if yes plz tell its location.

Put a set timing on before executing the query in SQL *Plus like:
SQL> set timing on
SQL> select 1 from dual;
1
1
Elapsed: 00:00:00.00
To make trace on just do the following:
SQL> SET AUTOTRACE TRACEONLY
SQL> SELECT 1 FROM DUAL;
Elapsed: 00:00:00.01
Execution Plan
0 SELECT STATEMENT Optimizer=ALL_ROWS (Cost=2 Card=1)
1 0 FAST DUAL (Cost=2 Card=1)
