Query not visible in Prod,

Hi all
I have created 5 queries in Dev and transported to Quality and then to production
In Quality i was able to see all the Queries under that Infocube
But once they are moved to prod i was not able to see them.
For trail i tried creating the same query in prod with the same name, it says like Query Name already exists.
but go and search for that to open its not visible.
can anyone say what could be the wrong

Do you have the same authorizations in Prod as in Dev and Quality ?
Maybe you don't have the necessary rights to see or modify an existing query.
It seems that your query already exists in Prod, but check it anyway in table RSZCOMPDIR.
Put the technical name of your query in the field COMPID.
You will see if it is active.

SAP InfoSet Query not visible in CR8

Hi experts,
I'm trying to display Sap Queries through Crystal Report 8.
I can access the Infoset (User Group defined) and display reports on it.
But when I try to access the InfoSet Queries, none appears.
I give myself the users group for my specific InfoSet and for the templates Crystal.
After that, When I'm in CR, I see both InfoSets (Specific and CR template), but unfortunately only templates queries are displayed.
I've compared standard Query and mine, and I can't see any difference.
I hope you can help me cause I didn't undestand where I am wrong.

What do you mean by Options ?
I see in connections, in folder Sap Infoset the nodes I and Q. I have my Infoset in the folder I --> G (global).
But I have nothing in the folder Q --> G.
That's why I don't understand where is the issue, I can see tables, infoset but not queries.

Query not Visible in Universe

Hi Experts,
I want to create a universe based on query.
When I try to create the connection I am able to see all queries except for the ones I have created.
I have checked the query for external use as well at BEx level.
There are no roles maintained in this sandbox server.So no question about inserting my queries into specific roles as it is currently in my favourites.
Am I missing some setting part somewhere?
Please assist.

You mean to say try to connect to SAP OLE server through my query using pivot table and connecting to external datasource?
Or do you mean something else?
If you could provide the steps to the solution you intend to provide will be very much appreciated.

Role/query not visible in analyzer urgent

Hi,
In my case User "A" has activated all the business content queries. Now this user created user B with authorization to see only few queries under a selected infoarea.. but user B cannot see them.he also cannot see the roles when i open analyzer. Is it that queries are activated by user A so user B cannot see them?? IF that is the case how can i make user B able to see queries??

I dont think that should be the case, but to check just give User B the same authorization as User A and see if he is able to see the queries. If so, then you will need to fix the authorizations accordingly.
Does User B see the InfoCubes or the DSOs on which the queries are built ? Try using the Authorization trace to pinpoint the problem.

Currency Conversion type not visible in the query

Hi ,
I created one currency type conversion   Z_INR
exchange rate type : M
Exchange rate from infoobject : zexch_rate(key fig)
source curr from data record
Fixed target curr : INR
Variable time reference : A to Exact Day
Special info object : Ztr_date (Transaction date)
it got saved succesfully but wen i try to include this in the query its not visible there . can anyone let me know why this problem is coming
help will be appreciated .

Create Currency conversion type using Trans: RRC1.
1.Specify your Exchange rate type.
2.Dynamic Exchange rate type
3.Source curency from data rec.
4.Fixed currency say USD.
5.Select Variable Time reference "Start Month" and Special Info Object - 0calmonth
Secondly In the key figure field to be converted in the query,   select properties - select the currency conversion key name .

Key is not visible in SQL 2012 R2 when query is read from SAP BI

Hi All,
I have a query in sap bi which has variables where key and text is displayed as per screen shot 1. How ever the same query is triggered from SQL 2012 r2 the key is not visible but text is visible as per screenshot 2 . Could any one suggest how the key will be displayed by there end(SQL).

I think you're in the wrong space as yor screenshots are not from any Business Objects or SAP BI 4.x products I know.
What exact product are you using ?
this space is for SAP Business Objects products family.

Attribute not visible in Query Designer

hi BI Gurus,
I could not see some InfoObjects(Attributes) which are marked Authorization Relevant, in the query designer. And the strange thing is, they are not visible even for the user with SAP_ALL and 0BI_ALL assigned. The authorizations for the cube in which the main char is used looks fine.
I have checked all the options in RSECADMIN, everything looks good.
pls help me in finding the solution..

check out with the info object screen in attribute tab, navigational attribute on/0f switch box, if u r using FF source system.
check out with the infocube whether u r checked the check boxes in navigational attribute tab.

Global CKFs not visible in query

I created some Global CKFs for a query , but next time they are not visible under the Global CKFs column ,

Your concern is right . But for global CKFs should be available on left panel under Calculated Key Figures right? They are not even appearing there . But they are inside the system i checked them .
This is happening only for one cube . I wonder if there is any setting at cube level to display these global CKFs in query designer ??

Data not visible in query output

Hi Gurus
I have a report which is being published at the portal but the data is not visible for it...now when i check the query for that report and try to run it. i still don't see any data..now on further analysis when i use the same filters used in the query on the multiprovider on which the query is created i can see the data and when i run the report in RSRT, i can see the data...but don't know why its not visible when i execute the query or the report on the the portal....plz suggest..points will be awarded..

Check the query with Bex Analyzer; If it give you the correct result then It might be configuration problem with your JAVA settings..
Please try And also run Support Desk Tool
(SAP Note 937697 ) to figure out the configuration Issues....

New key figures in multiprovider not visible in query designer

Dear Experts,
I added a cube and keyfigures to the multiprovider definition.
The multiprovider is activated successfully.
The added keyfigures come only from this new cube.
I identified these new keyfigures to this new cube only.
There is an existing query based on old version of the multiprovider without the new cube.
When i relaunch query designer and re-open this query, i could not see the new keyfigures.
When i create a new query, also its not showing the new keyfigures.
Is there something not refreshed that I do not see these new key figures?

Hi,
Some time it happens that newly added key figures and characteristics are not visible immediately in Bex query designer. Just check for warnings if any encountered while activating else try editing and re activating your Multiprovider and also proper field assignment.
Newly added Key Figures should be visible in both New and Old queries without any differentiation. Just log off and log in back after some time, there is a good possibility that this inconsistency would be resolved.

In webdynpro abap , the ui layout is not visible. please read query fully

hi , in webdynpro abap , the UI Layout is not visible.
I did some settings .
1) in SICF t-code , i actvate the all services realted to http . i dont know which services properly need to webdynpro ui layout.
after activating those services, ui elements are coming . but when i am tryin to drag ui elemetns in to UILayout , it showing some error message. I am not able to drag ui elemetns to ui layout.
Please tell how to solve this problem.
1) if the solution is regarding ip address in host file, please guide me in depth step by step.
2) if the solution is realted to browser settings , please guide me in depth each step by step for settings in browser .

I had a similar problem..
if u hav a look at ur url you will come to know the following things:
<schema>://<host>.<domain>.<extension>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/<namespace>/<application name>
the same url can be traced in SICF.
Also u need to add the server ip/domain name in the advanced tab in lan settings so that it does go through the proxy..

Sequences are not visible to user/schema

I have copied a schema(abcd1)(schema level refresh) from prod to dev(abcd2),i verified that all objects(tables,views,synonyms and sequences etc..) got created in the dev schema(abcd2) ,but now the client complains that the sequences are not visible to user/schema(abcd2) in dev,he says it was visible before and that they are visible to another schema(abcd3) in dev.... can anyone please advise? Data is visible in base tables of BOM routing but not visible in front end

Hi,
Through BOM_RTG_PUB API I am populating routing data into base tables, it is successfull.. but that data is not visible in front end when i queried from front end..
i am getting error while i run API as......
An error occured while processing business object BOM_ITEM12 in organization MMO. Please check the data in this business object and re-run the import process.
Can any one help me in finding out what's wrong with this..

Your obeservation is correct, and expected behavior.
This behavior is useful when you have inputs that you would like to set as defaults for the user.
Obviously, if there is a value to be saved, it will require some memory to store the value.
If the input is left empty by default, that memory is made available again.
It may not be easy to think of a good use for this for a graph, but think about for numeric or string controls.
What if the user isnt sure how they should input a certain parameter or value?
You could store a default value so they could see how they should input their value.

My recovery drive is not visible in my hp pavilion g6-2137tx

My problem is very big. I installed ubuntu alongside with windows 7.For that ubuntu created a special drive of 83 gb. After installing ubuntu my recovery drive was just shownig some text files but the recovery drive was full and still there..
so i decided to delete ubuntu so i went to disk management and formated that 83 gb partition but after that my laptop was not able to boot...It was not starting and just showed an error" no such partition".So i installed windows 8 from a disk.After the installation recovery partition is missing and it is not visible on "my computer".I think that i still have my recovery drive because my total partion is 463 gp and since my laptop is equiped with 500gb hard disk. Is there any way so that i can recover my partition and get back to original windows 7 which came with my laptop in the begining..

Thank you for your query.
Reo is correct, your Recovery Manager was wiped when you installed from the disk. You do have the option to use your Windows restore, for your backups. Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) You can also use third party software, to create an ISO image, which could be used to restore the computer, back to the time you created the image Here are some examples of ISO backup software.ex amples of ISO burning software.

IT 580 : Screen Details not visible

While creating data in IT580 ( Previous Employment Tax Details).. The screen is not visible completely.
Only following feields are visible :
Pers. No.
Name
Category
Location
From & To date
Previous Employment Tax Details :
Leave Encahsment Exemption Amount
Gratuity Exemption
VRS Exemption
No. of LTA Exempt
LTA carried forward
The screen is blank other than than the above mentioned, no details are visible.
Could anyone resolve this query pls ???

Hello Pushkaraj,
Can u plz check if hiring date of the employee is begin date of the Financial year. If this is the case then only following fields will be applicable for the Previous Employment Tax Details :
1. Leave Encahsment Exemption Amount
2. Gratuity Exemption
3. VRS Exemption
4. No. of LTA Exempt
5. LTA carried forward
this is because only thess exemptions can be adjusted/ carried forward to the current year from the previous year. Other components like previous gross salary , PF, Ptax, Income tax etc are not applicable for the cross financial year adjustemnt in such a case.
U can test the same with a hiring date other than the begin date of the financial year. u will get the whole screen.
Check and let me know if still its nt clear.
