Query on main screen on ipod 80g
Just bought new ipod classic 80 and noticed that after a period of time the frame with the song/artist/artwork will default to a screen that just shows the time, a rightward pointing arrow and battery meter with no information on the song playing. The older ipods didn't default to this. How can i keep the screen with the song/artist/artwork on and not default to the time/arrown/battery screent

IPod main screen shows "No Music" even though...
My ipod main screen shows "No Music", "No Videos" "No Pictures" etc... and when I click on music, for example, it shows no bands, no nothing. BUT when I go to settings it shows I have 67.6 GB free space. meaning I have around 53 GB of files on my ipod (It's a classic 120G ipod). I've tried restarting it, and it didn't help. I think if I restore default settings I'd lose all the files. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone help? I'm desperate! They're in there somewhere.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync (from your description it is not clear you did that)
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

I have a problem with the iTunes Store, I have an ipod and an iphone 2. I have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 2007, entering into iTunes Store on the main screen I get only AppStore, Podcast and iTunes U. In my screen I get only ipad2 Podcast, iTunes U Downloads. My problem is I can not access any application to download music, videos, books, etc..
ITunes will be installed wrong or what should I do to activate these options?Go to the front page of the Store, and click Change Country. Make sure it is set to the country where you actually are.
Then you will be able to see everything that is for sale in your country, which, depending where you live, might or might not include music. -
my screen turns white and my functions lag on me for instence i try going to my ipod and it turns on but then turns right off going back to main screen. when i click on my settings it takes forever to open up, if opening at all.

If you do not find a solution in the iPod nano (6th generation) - User Guide, suggest that you call AppleCare if still under warranty or take a trip to your local Apple Store or AASP.

I have purchased apps for my ipod touch and they are not loading properly. They appear on the screen, but when you touch them, they do not open and bounce back to the main screen. Any ideas on how to fix?

I have ipod touch 4G . While updating O/S it stopped in between and now it only shows crashed apple symbol. It is neither turning off nor able to go to main screen. what I see is only crashed apple symbol. What to do?
Download RecBoot and see if that will kick it into recovery mode, so your computer sees it and you can do a restore.

Computer goes to blue screen when ipod plugged in.
I have tried all angles on this and still haven't been able to figure out. Can somebody please offer some new knowledge? I have tried some older suggestions awithout resolution. Here is what is happening using Windows 7/lastest updated itunes and ipod 80g classic:
My ipod was completely erased after trying to update through itunes as i normally do. Now when i plug ipod into the itunes, it will not be recognized in the left column and after about 3 minutes my entire computer will go to blue screen and reboot itself. I have tried restoring, checked diagnostics on ipod. I think I may need some more info on opening itunes in safe mode and beginning from there, however I'm open for any other suggestions/links. Have you also checked with your PC's manufacturer (such as Dell, Toshiba, etc) to make sure you have all the latest drivers, firmware and BIOS installed?

Ipad Photo App starts to update then returns to main screen
I have plenty of photos in the ipad but when I commence the app it starts with ' please wait updating library" then goes back to the main screen. I don't really know when it started but it worked fine when I bought it.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
Have just updated my iphone 4 to ios 5, is the notification centre supposed to appear on your main screen as an icon if so how do i get it to show, and i thought you could now use the camera from the locked sreen i can't seem to this at the moment can anyone help? thank you
Double click home button for camera to show up (and iPod). Notifications seem to show up on lock screen that way, too.
