Query on SoD matrix for CRM-Webshop applications - RAR 5.3

Hi,
We are implementing RAR 5.3 for CRM system. We observed that GRC has standard SoD matrix for CRM application. But there is no SOD matrix available for the Webshop (B2B/B2C/BOB) where access will be provided to the external users
We are of the opinion that there will be no SoD conflicts for the Roles/Users created for the webshop applications as the webshops are used by the external users i.e. customers.
Is there any standard SoD matrix available for the authorization objects of the webshop application with SAP? Has anybody configured SoD rules for the webshop application roles? If yes, please provide us the link of the information where we will get this rule matrix

The standard rule for CRM is available in the marketplace.
But I don't think SAP has created standard rule for webshop.

You can debug in abap by placing a "/h" while executing your program,.place the "/h" in the bar where you type in your tcodes.
alternatively, you can set breakpoints in your source code and then run it.

Usage problem: BI Query results as input for CRM Function module

Hi all,
In my VC model I have maintained a dataservice (BI query) which delivers a customer key to me. I would like to use this specific customer key output as an input parameter in a function module from my CRM system.
I have implemented both data services and mapped the fields. However, the problem is as follows:
The query gives an output customer number: 001044082163. The customer_id in CRM is 44082163, so the output from BW needs to be changed to 0044082163 (as we need to input 10 characters).
So the question is: How can we change the output from BI query 001044082163 to 0044082163 within the VC model?

But, the following information which is mentioned in the attached file is not clear. Can any one clarify this. what is the meaning of this.

--> Session log requires to take a trace from the ADMIN XCM, through which you can trace the errors within your web shop application.
The session log can be taken from the link -

Once you login to the above link (the application name and the port is applicable to your project), on the left hand menu, you will find the option for "Session Trace"
--> Also, from the XCM application (such as B2B,B2C etc), (XCM Settings), you need to set Single Session Trace = True.

Creating SOD matrix with the help of Access control default ruleset

I am creating the SOD matrix for the existing roles of CRM and HR modules. As I am the security consultant therefore does not have the functional knowledge about the conflicts for CRM and HR transactions. My question is can I use the function/actions/risks conflicts provided with the Access control 5.3 default ruleset. We are not using Access control for these systems, so I want to know whether I can take the help of AC 5.3 default risks to create the SOD matrix based on it.
For e.g, like H001 default HR risk, I would make sure not to assign PA30(maintain HR data) with the PA03/PA04(maintain personal control record) as this will result in the providing conflict "Modify payroll master data and then process payroll".
Once I have the SOD list based upon AC 5.3, I can consult the Business approver/auditor to verify and modify as per the business requirement.
Maybe I am thinking the wrong way, please provide your inputs so I can work on it. Any help appreciated.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that you need to build a rule set that reflects the customers real business risk!
What you build there will influence the way the customer will be able to continue work, assign access and perform control activities. The input HAS to come from the business!
You can use the SAP standard risk definitions as a starting point for discussions, and the HR functions are an excellent building block to identify the transactions and necessary authorization objects that allow users to perform the actions.
But the real challenge is to identify the risks as perceived/accepted by the business!

Authorization restriction for CRM 2007

Dear Experts,
We are in process of defining the authorization matrix for CRM 2007 for end users who will be using Web UI.
Here my requirement is the service orders created by USER1 should not be displayed by USER2 and vice-versa when they do a search in both Web UI and GUI in Tx CRMD_ORDER for service orders.
Please let me know how can I acheive this and what is the auth. object for the same.

If I understood your request, you want that, only one user will be able to access the document. If you want to do that, this is the answer:
At tcode PFCG you shoud set:
First you must set what type of document will be avaible to the user, in this case Z020.
CRM_ORD_PR: PR_TYPE 'Z020',ACTVT '*'
Next you must set which activities they will be able to do (notice, you must set the same field in the previsou object(
CRM_ACT: ACTVT u2018*u2019
And then you set which partner function or partner category are able to access the document, here is the main point !
In this example I set that only users who has Partner Category (not partner function) Employee Responsible (std partner category 0008) are able to access the document
CRM_ORD_OP: ACTVT '', PARTN_FCT '', PARTN_FCTT '0008'
Here you can notice again field ACTVT, here you will set what user are able to do, "*" means everything, "1" = create, "2" = modify, etc. (I can see the list at PFCG, adding the auth. object to the PFCG profile).
I notice only std partner function or partner category works with this object. I sent a message to sap support, and they confirm that, so if your user has Z partner funcition or category it is not possible to do that.
Summary, your user must be present in the partner list of the document, and they must have a partner function or partner category std. It is possible to set together both values PARTN_FCT and PARTN_FCTT, but I think it is not necessary.
The easy way to do that is, user who will be able to access the document, must be the employee responsible.

ps.: As you should know, only one partner function must have partner category Employee Responsible, in the partner det. procedure, otherwise, you will get error message in your application.

Querying / Reporting on Install Date of Office Applications

I am trying to create a query/report that looks for recently installed applications that require extra licensing costs from Microsoft, including Visio and Project. I've made some really good reports for what applications are installed on what machines,
but where everything breaks down is the install date. Since Office applications are patched monthly, the install date reported by our inventory changes each time the applications patch. This gives me reports that seem to think that hundreds of
users have installed these applications in the last month.
The install date in both the Installed Software and Installed Applications classes shows the date of the last update installation, not the original installation.
On sample machines, Programs and Features shows the correct original installation date, but I can't find where that date is coming from. I have checked HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall,
and HKLM\Software\Classes\Installer\Products, and the install date shown is the date the application was last updated.
Any ideas on how to collect the correct install date by expanding my hardware inventory? Or create a better query to use the data I have, possibly the History classes?

On a single test machine, I found a match, for the date displayed in "Installed Programs" vs. "Installed Updates"
This string/value seems to have the correct date (but it could be complete coincidence).
I theorised that the date against this specific Office Setup component, could be static (but who really knows. it's just a guess on my part.)

Deploy Internet Sales B2B/B2C Web- Application for CRM 5.0

Dear all,
We upgraded to CRM 5.0. Because of the CRM 5.0, we had to use the SAP Developerstudio (Eclipse) and the new J2EE Engine.
I deployed the B2C shop application, but i get a confusing error message, if i try to visit the login page.
Error [javax.servlet.ServletException: Initialization of Extended Configuration Management failed.
Could not initialize XCM configuration in Database.
Check if you have deployed the Software Component 'SAP JAVA DATA DICTIONARY 5.0'].
Exception id: [0013CE89C2FB00750000005700005870000429479003B101]
If i try to access the admin page ".../b2c/admin", i get a page without the menu entries. No XCM Link, No Version info, and so on. If i try to access the XCM manuelly "...b2c/admin/xcm/init.do", then a get again the error above.
Someone can help, where i can find the "SAP JAVA DATA DICTIONARY" and what i have to do for the deployment?

XCM Settings for CRM ISA 4.0 SP10

Hi !
We are currently upgrading a CRM 4.0 ISA application from SP5 to SP10. The XCM settings for the vanilla 'b2c' webshop has been completed and the vanilla 'b2c' application has been extended to a new b2c application using the old extended application files with the new 'buildtool'. However, when we try to run the extended b2c project, after successfully deploying the new .ear file, we get an error that the XCM settings couldn't be found. The vanilla 'b2c' application runs perfectly though.
Could anyone with experience in CRM 4.0 ISA application SP10 list any unique steps to get the extended XCM data for the extended application correctly in the 'web.xml' file ?

The config path for "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should normally point to the standard XCM settings and ideally it should be outside the folder structure of the application (ie) not within either <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\crm.b2c\servlet_jsp\b2c\root\WEB-INF
or <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\xcm\crm.b2c. Prior to CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, context parameters would determine this path during each deployment. This would ensure that an extended application would always point back to the standard XCM settings rather than having to maintain multiple XCM settings for each extended application. The reply from SAP OSS suggests that post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, XCM settings would have to be maintained for each extended application (something that SAP supports) or the value of the config path of "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should be changed individually for each extended application using the visual administrator to point to the standard XCM settings (something that SAP suggests as a work around but doesn't support).
Again, this problem is mainly caused by the fact that the context parameter of the XCM settings during deployment of any application has been removed from the SDM post CRM ISA 4.0 SP5. Removal of this context parameter from the SDM means that one would have to adopt either approach as suggested by SAP as above.
I hope this helps others out there who are migrating from a pre CRM ISA 4.0 SP6 to a post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6.

Hi Masa,
The CRM version in our landscape is : CRM 7.0 EHP3
But we have installed below versions in Fiori.
UIX02CRM (release 100) SP3.
GBX02CRM SP3
Please suggest whether we need to uninstall them and install new versions(CRM001-CRM 7.0 EhP3 SPS07).
Also system does not allow to uninstall existing components. Please advice on this.

I have created projects for crmisawebb2bsap.com and crmhomeshrextsap.com
But whenever I try to build anyone of them.
There is a error.
