What is the difference between Tcodes BD10 & BD11 to BD14 &BD15

Hi,
BD10 -- Send Material
BD11 -- Get Material
After setting up a distribution model and partner profiles in sending and receiving clients.
BD10 is used to send material from out bound (sending system ) to in bound (recieving system)
in out bound BD10 reads the application document and generates IDOC
BD11 is used to read the IDOC and creates application document in inbound system
both are different in functionality
Similar to the material master for vendor master we can use BD14 & BD15
BD14- Get Vendor
BD15 -- Open vendor

Hi
You can use transaction code ST03N.
1. Go to tx code - ST03N
2. Under "Workload" you can select your "Instance or Total" so that it expands and shows you Days, Week, Month.
3. If you want to look at the transactions executed for a particular day, lets say, then double click on any day.
4. At the bottom left you get "Analysis Views"
5. Select & expand "User and Settlement Statistics"
6. Double click on "User Profile"
7. On the right side of the window you get a list of all the users
8. Double click on a particular user you want to view the details of.
9. The new screen will display the "Transactions/Reports Utilized by User XXX"
If you wanna track which users executed a particular transacation then follow this:
10. In "Analysis Views" expand "Transaction Profile"
11. Double click on "Standard"
You can view the list of Transactions and Reports.
12. Double click on the Tx Code or Report you wanna check and it will show the Use of it.

Assign query to tcode.

Hello all, i need to assign a transaction code to a query, but there's already an assignment of a query to this tcode, i want to use the same tcode for my new query, and it doesn't matter if after this, the other one has no tcode left. Please, tell me how to do this.
And one more thing, while creating the query, when I click on basic list, there's a box with title "sort fields" but i cannot drop and drag any fields in there, i don't know how to do this (neither I know what is serves for)

use se93 ,Enter name for Tcode you want to create -ztest for example .then choose parameter transaction and OK,choose START_REPORT for transaction value in 'Default value for' section and CHECK 'skip initial screen' check box .
at buttom of screen you must select this options:
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE : enter this value : AQ
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT :name of usergroup which query assigned to it,notice that you must enter this name with 12 character then if your user group name is ZREZA you have to enter 7 space after this name and at 13th poistion enter G.
> ZREZA G
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT : name of sap query report.report created with sq01(zqu_materila for example)
save you work and you can execute tcode.

Find SAP Query using Tcode

Hi All,
I have TCode of SAP Query, i need to find out SAP Query.
things i followed:
1) Executed TCode and menu bar --> System --> Status. I got Program.
2) I went to SE93 --> TCode --> Display --> bottom i got UserGroup, Query but when i try to check that Query in SQ01 it is saying Query has not created.
3) Executed program using FM RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME, got UserGroup n Query. but same issue as above.
Query is working but when i check in SQ01, it has not created is showing.
My requirement is - functional has created 4 SAP Queries. i need to merge all the SAP Queries into 1 report program.
i need how can we check those SAP Queries in SQ01 using TCode.

Hi Naresh,
You did not explain how the reports were created, but if they can be accessed directly via a transaction code individually, they were probably manually created by a programmer via ABAP and were not created via SQ01. Thus, you cannot find them in the SQ01 table. Only if they were created via Ad Hoc Query (PQAH) or directly in SQ01, would they be available via SQ01.
If they were created in SQ01 in a Development system and transported to your Productive system, they can be found in the Global Area as indicated above by Boris. If they were created directly in the Productive system, they can be found in the Standard Area. And again, each area has its own set of User Groups, so you may be looking in several areas. The key is to learn how and where the queries you are searching for were created.

Modifying an existing ABAP Query - sq01 (tcode)

We have a query develped (Z) long before .Now we have a requirment where in which we need to add one more table to the existing query.Kindly let me know how can we proceed.
When am giving the query name and clicked on change , am not able to find any option which allows the user to add one more table.

Hi ,
u need to follow these steps when u are working on queries.
Step1-->SQ03->Give ur user group here ->then /nSQ02->here it will display all ur Infosets those belongs to ur user Group--->then go in Change Mode, after u know wat u have to do.

How to delete a Bex Query

Dear All,
I am trying to delete a bex query using tcode RSZDELETE and i also tried deleting directly from table RSZCOMPDIR. i am unable to delete.....is there any other option??????????/

Are you sure there are no work books build on this query and check if any of the other query variables etc are used in your query which you want to delete?
1. use transaction RSZDELETE
2. run program COMPONENT_REORG
3. go to query designer open the query and say delete.
To delete workbook .......SE37 > RRMX_WORKBOOKS_DELETE, but to use this you will need to technical names of the workbooks.

RRI Issue when jumping to TCode in R/3

Hi Experts,
I need to Jump through RRI (RSBBS) from BW summary query to BW detailed query and from BW detailed query to TCode WB23 in our requirement. So i have created two RRI's in BW dev system one from Summary to detailed report and other from Detailed Report to R/3 Tcode . Here in receiver tab i have selected the Source system as R/3 technical system and Info source as 2LIS and ran the report and everything is working fine.
When i moved the changes iam not able to drill down to WB23 from 2nd RRI and this is the short dump error iam getting in BW Quality system.
What Happened:
The function module "RSRR_REPORT_CALL" was called, but cannot be
found in the Function Library.
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
Error Analysis:
The program "SAPMSSY1" contains a CALL FUNCTION statement. The name
of the function module to be called is "RSRR_REPORT_CALL".
No function module exists with the name "RSRR_REPORT_CALL".
All function modules are stored in the Function Library (SE37).
Possible reasons:
a) Wrong name specified. Particular attention should be paid
    to upper/lower case and underscores ("_")
b) Transport error
c) If an enqueue/dequeue module has been used, the lock object
    may not have been activated (ABAP Dictionary)
    may not have been activated (ABAP Dictionary).
Did any one of you faced the same problem. If so can you suggest the solution. Thank in Advance.

I got the result.
I shall let you know the steps.
1. Go to RSSBS
2. Choose the sender.
3. Choose the Receiver assignment.
4. Choose the source system.
5. Transaction code : WB23.
6. Save the transaction.
7. See that you have authorization for WB23 in receiver system.
8. Execute the query upto the detailed query in BW.
9. Choose the Receiver T.code in BW.
10. Maintain the Server ip in the Browser and host file.
11. Voila !!! Here is your logion pad and once you log in here is your transaction.

Restriction of Tcode SQ01 based on Company code

We are running one customized query using Tcode SQ01. We need to restrict Tcode SQ01 in company code level. We have checked about authorization object in st01. But there is no check of authorization object. Can anybody help to restrict SQ01 based on company code level?

Hi Auroshikha,
Itu2019s very easy to maintain authorization in your Infoset Query report. I got and implemented similar requirement i.e. restriction /authorization as per company code.
You need to use authority check for authorization object P_ORGIN in your infoset.
Please follow the bellow steps:
-->Go to SQ02, Enter your Infoset name and click on Change button.
-->Click on 'Code' (Shift+F8) icon dispalyed on application toolbar, you will be moved to Code Section of Infoset that lists different events.
-->Choose Record Processing event from code section.
-->Write the following code in 'Record processing' event of your Infoset.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'P_ORGIN'
*ID 'INFTY' FIELD '*'
*ID 'SUBTY' FIELD '*'
ID 'AUTHC' FIELD 'R' "read
ID 'PERSA' FIELD P0001-WERKS
*ID 'PERSG' FIELD DUMMY

CHECK Sy-SUBRC EQ 0.
Note: PERSA field used in this Authorization object plays an importan role , if you are in different module other that HR , then pass here table_name-companycode_field

-->Go to SQ01 (in a new session) , Click on exeute or 'Test button' to check authorization is working for report

Adhoc Query : Error during selection; check the selection conditions

We have a report set-up and which we want to run using our adhoc query report tcode S_PH0_48000513
The report, has a few different selection criteria in it to look at all action IT screen data in the system for ee's in specific personnel areas. There is also a criteria to allow us to paste in specific employee numbers we are interested in. The issue I am facing is that over about 3000 ids, the system automatically returns me a message when I click on the Output button to run the report which states:
Error during selection; check the selection conditions
Message no. PAIS206
I am not sure why this is happening. The selection criteria are fine and the other day I ran the report and I experienced no issues. The report ran successfully. Now though, if I try and paste in all the ids I am interested in (about 8000) I get this message straightaway.
Can anything be done to overcome this issue?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

A runtime error occurred during dynamic selection.
System response
The runtime error will be caught; no short dump will be created. This error should not occur as a rule. However, very large select statements may trigger the runtime error SAPSQL_STMNT_TOO_LARGE or DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL. There is no way to prevent this happening. In this case, the error can only be caught.
Procedure
Check the selection conditions to see whether the error was caused because the option "Import from text file" included too many objects in the "Multiple selection" dialog. If this is so, you must limit the number of individual values.

How to get the text for the new query

Hi all...
we have created a new query by copy of existing query. iwe have changed only the sales area in the filter.
when we run the original query in japan language, getting japan text for the material where as for the new query it is not getting japan text.
we have extracted text masterdata for sales area but when we run the query it is not displaying material description in japan language.
how to get text for the material in the new query?

What is the output for text filed you are getting as of now?
Check the properties of the material in old query?
Generate the query in tcode RSRT and execute and check.
Check if the Display as properties is selected as "Key and Text".
try to replace it back(sales area) in filters and check in new query - if u are getting the desired output or not.

Query Variable: F4 search by Text is case sensitive in Web Templates.

Hello Guru's,
I have a problem, when I am trying to search the variables in Web Templates the search by text is case sensitive.
For example If I have the customer name as "King", I have to search the text as King or Ki*, But If I search as king I will not get any results.
I need to have my text search as case insensitive.
When I checked in my BEx queries the search is case insensitive. I have the problem in my Web Templates only. Please let me know do I need to change any variable settings ing the web templates or let me know how do I fix this issue.

Hi,
So the only workaround for this would be to goto RSD1 -> enter info
-object as xxxx, and press maintain, then goto master data/text
tab and select the check box, 'with text', now save and activate the
infoobject. After this regenerate the query using tcode rsrt.
To regenerate goto rsrt enter query name and press 'generate report'
button.
Now the F4 help screen should show the options search by key and search
by text. So that you can select serach by key to have a case insensitive
search.

Query displaying wrong results

I have developed a query, in dev and transported to quality.
everything worked fine in dev, after transport to quality, the query output is displaying data incorrectly
for one particular infoobject. value is fourtimes the original value in the cube.
Ex. cube has output for x field as 2.5
query has the output as 15.0. This behaviour is observed only in quality after transport.
Dev query is still working fine.
I think even retransport would not solve the issue, since Dev is fine.

Iu2019m going to try helping you regarding your question,
Something, when you usually transport a query, something lose a variable, or structure, or calculate key figure, or restrict key figure. I suggest you; check all of component of query in development and quality system, through BEx Query Designer.
Be sure, that the data that you try to display isnu2019t impact be reporting authorization.
Compare the date in InfoProviders in both system development and quality system, through Tcode LISTCUBE.
Try to execute the query through Tcode RSUDO for check some authorization behavior, see the log through Tcode RSECPROT.

How to cehck the restricted values in Query desingner

I have a infoobject restricted with some values in the query desingner.
NOw I want to check the restricted values ( which are there as an interval shown below the infoobejct in the query desingner).
I can check it by going to change mode in the desinger but I dont have authorization to goto change mode . Is there any other way to check these restricted values.

Query output list - SQ01

Hi Friends,
When i execute a query by tcode SQ01 & save the result in local file (unconverted) as text format, then it gives many unescessay fields, like header text, description date cloumn headers etc.
I want only the result (ASCII characters) that are seperated by space or either "tab" only.
Can it be done through "Encoding" ? or do we need to change the query itself ?

Yeah it is clear visible that, the same combination might have available in different plants.
So to avoid the duplicate entries, always select all the primary key fields available in all the tables in the output.
If not atleast try restricting based on plant in the selection screen or any possible duplicate entreis.
So add the key fields at Infoset level in SQ02

How to run the APD programmatically with different query variables

Hi All
I have a requirement to run a APD with a query in it programmatically on a series of posting periods from 1 to 10 I want to run the APD once for each posting period.
Any idea how I can do this.

Create a variable on posting period in the query.
in tcode RSRT, choose the query name , here you have the option of creating query variants. create different variants and save it.
In APD, when you choose the query, you have the option of choosing query variant, choose the variant you created in rsrt.
You can automate by including the APD with different query variants in a PC.
