Query regarding NACE output types

Hello Gurus,
I have two Output types ZABC & ZXYZ. I have placed ZABC and ZDEF in this order in Procedures. ZABC is of the type 'Special Function' while ZXYZ is of the type 'EDI'. Please help me understand if these output types will be triggered parallely or in the sequence described above.

If you are triggerring both the output types, it will process in the order which you triggered.

if i have 2 table with a same column name then in the datatype under parent row node i cant add 2 nodes with the same name.

One option would be to go as mentioned by Padamja , prefxing the table name to the column name or another would be to use the AS keyoword in your SQL statement.
AS is used to rename the column name when data is being selected from your DB.
So, the query Select ename as empname from emptable will return the data with column name as empname.

Report query regarding list output

Hi experts,
suppose while we are printing the data from a table is it possibble to get the data in any regional language of the list other than english?suppose a field in any table is village name and when we are printing that village name,is it possible to print that village name in any regional language(like tamil/telugu/bengali etc..just for customer requirements.)?

Hello Sarkar,
Mutli-language options are supported by SAP. In ADRC table you have a field NATION in which you can give the values.
In this way you can maintain the multi-language values for you CITY, STREET etc.
As to whether you can print in Tamil, Teleugu etc. you must check if that particular character set is available in your system.

Problen in output type ABSA(ME22)

I am modifing purchase order smartforms.I can print RFQ using output type NEU,same form I count print Rejection of RFQ using ABSA output type.
I chked in NACE output type and forms everything is correct.but in ME42 if I select ABSA its not wrking( its with Red color marking).guide me pls

Check that the condition record maintained for the Output type 'ABSA'.
Also, check the setting for output determination at the following path:
IMG-Material Management-Purchasing-Messages-Output control:
Mantain message Schema for Request for Quotation.
Also, check if the partner role has been set for Quotation at the following path:
IMG-Material Management-Purchasing-Messages-Output control:
Partner Role per message type.
Next, check as already ,mentioned for the condition record via transaction 'MN01/02'

Change output type of Purchase Order

Hi All,
Is it possible to programmaticlly change(or add) the output medium in transaction me21n / me22n when a user creates a PO?
I've been able to config the system to allow the PO to either be emailed or faxed upon the user saving. There is a requirement that when the user clicks the save button through a pop up window they can either choose fax or email, and it must then either fax the PO off, or it must email it depending on what they selected.
Is this possible?

U can do it, provide the desired Output types are configured in NACE.
Just look it in NACE > Output types 'EF' and select NEU click Processing routines,see what all output types defined.
Now Goto> tcode ME23n> choose an order> In essages>Check wether message type has the medium FAX or Email. Set the message Output type for ur desired and save,
Click on Further data and select at the time of saving.
For FAX you have to make some technical customizing in transaction SCOT in order to configure Fax connexion from SAP and then set the file fomrat you want for fax.
Remember that if you want to send Fax directly from SAP, SAP need to be connected to a Fax Card or a Fax Server .

In SAP, there are several Processing Routines, how does the processing routines work if you put a Program and Forms to Processing 1 and Processing 2?

Hi Salem,
When you execute a program through a transaction, then the first program and the first form are executed..
These entries are maintained in NAST table.. Now, the first o/p is displayed... When you press the BACK button on the o/p of first form screen, It goes back to the SAP code and check for the second entry if any, if it exists, it calls the second progarm and the second form.. and so on..

If you are rejection the Quotation by ME42 then Rejection indicator must be set for item. This change only allows triggering and making out put ABSA as green.
Check and suggest if works fine.

Reprocess output type

Hello all,
Does anyone know if there is a FM which creates a repeat proces for an output type?
I will try to explain the issue by an example...
There's an output type on a inbound delivery and it has been processed already. Ok so far.
Now I am going to change a status in my shipment where the delivery is assigned to. Changing this status should set the output type on the inbound delivery to "repeat processing". Actually it should do the same if I would go into the change of the delivery (tcode vl32n) and you save it again. The output type is set for processing then again.
If anyone has usefull anwser....

In Output type definitions (trxn NACT), select the check box for Multiple issuing.
This will result in re-issuing the output type each time you go to the change mode of the delivery.

Output type with send immediately or with job

Hi,
I want to solve the following with only 1 output type. Is this possible:
I have output type ZNAS when it is triggered initially it should only be sent by RSNAST00.
If it is triggered again and the delivery has a specific status it should be triggered immediately.
Can this be arranged with only 1 output type or do I have to use 2 output types.

Query regarding Output Types

Hello Experts,
I have one output type for sales documents. I am able to successfully trigger it for credit/debit memos but when I try to trigger it for standard orders then I am getting "Output not defined" error. Can anybody please tell me where in the config we can define output types for sales document types.
I have one more query. While trying to trigger one billing document output I am getting "Update Terminated" error. But for same billing document I am able to trigger other output types. If "Update Terminated" error is coming due to number range then should it not be coming for all output types since there is no output type specific number range defined.

please check the configuration settings
IMG-sales & distribution-basic functions-output control-output determination-output determination using the condition technique-maintain output determination for sales documents.
1. create condition table . Key combination for maintaining condition record.
2. access sequence. assign condition table to access sequence.
3. ouput condition type. Select appropriate for inquiry, quotation or sales order. Assign the access sequence to the ouput type.
4.ouput determination procedure. Here you assign the output type to this procedure.
5. assign output determination procedure. Assign the procedure at header level if you want full document ouput. Assign the procedure at Item category level if you want item level output.
6. VV11 - create condition records for sales document types or VV31 for billing document types.
create the order or billing document and see the result.

Print quantity output type in NACE

Hi all,
we have created a new output type in NACE for the shipping notification (application V2).
Where can I configure the standard print quantity when using the output type?
We want to print out the document twice every time it is triggered.

Hi Anne,
Whenever we trigger a smartform, we normally get a pop-up window where we mention various printing options (no. of copies, device name etc...) But these options can be programmed in our driver program as well and also we can suppress this pop-up window. These printing options are part of a structure which you can find using F1 help on the pop-up window.
Now coming to your query, you can provide the number of copies you want in your program by populating the appropriate field of the structure and also by suppressing the pop-up window. So, after that each time when we print your smartform you will get the desired number of copies.

Regarding Creation of Output types for SAP SCRIPTS

Hi All,
I want to create new output types for my SAP Script.
What is the procedure for creating new Z - Output Type.
Like ZA01 for Sales Order.
What is the procedure can any body help me in this regard.
It is not to use ZA01 in NACE & connect Print Program & Layout set against Form Entry.
It is for creation of ZA01 Output Type itself.
If anybody knows the procedure please post the steps.
Also please mention will there be any diffrence in creation from Module to Module (or) Transaction (Vs) Transaction. Just like Sales Order (Vs) Purchase Order (Vs) Production Order.

Steps for output type:
Go to NACE Transaction
Select V1 - Sales.
Click Output type
In edit mode , click on new entries.
Give output type as ZA01 with some descp.
Then enter , then u need to give the Access seq. as 0010
Rest proprties are more and less similar to the BA00 standard output type in V1 only.
After that u need to give the processing routines.
In that u need to give the Program name
followed by Form routine name
In this way u can create the output from NACE tran.

DO u know the dunning notice number.
Then go to the table NAST.
In the sel.screen give the dunning notice number in the object key filed and execute. U will get the records of the processed outputs. from there u can find the application and output type.
Or go to Tcode NACE.
There u find a list of application from that u can choose as per ur req.

Goto NACE TCode
Selct the Application EF. Click on button output types .
then go chnage mode New Entries , You can Create You OutPut type.
You need other Details like Access Sequence etc has to be filled .
