Query Regarding Workflow........plz help its urgent.

Here is my query in Workflow
I would like to know when a work item gets triggered.?
I know that its a run time object,but i want to know is there any such condition which must satisfy before any work item gets triggered,or is there any process that helps to triggered a work item.

if workflow is triggred using event then, the following steps which is designed below is executed.

Within LSMW, there is an option to write our own code wherein this code can be incorporated.
This is in the Field Mapping Option...
Just go to the Menu Extras->Layout
and click on the check box Form Routines
Global Data.
Here you can define Global Variables and also perform your ABAP Coding.

Hi,I need to generate XML FIle.Since i m new to XML.
I had toregister the valid schema in my DB now i want to generate the XML file and with the refernce to this schema that xml file should be validated one against that schema.

now i need to generate XML based on the above SAMple XML file,can anybody tell me how to generate XML file based on this..and after generating it should be validated against the registerd schema.

Maybe I am wrong, but my understanding is that you have to generate the xml from your data source (usually tables) and then you validate it against your schema. I don't know if the schema has a magic that can generate the xml for you. Is that correct? Anyone please? At the beginning, I asked a .Net guy if his tool could "generate" an xml simply using the schema (I thought so). But he said they had to use many style sheets to create the xml.

Here is the scenario.
I am extracting the data from r/3.There is one field called "ITM_DESCRIPTION" in this i am gettting an # char only for single record and due to this delta loads are getting failed.
we had already wriiten the code for eliminating # for that field but dont know its not working. So i am planning out to skip that particular record for a particular Purchase order number.
Is there any such code to eliminate the particular record.

Query on SRM Shopping Cart ,plz help its very very urgent

Hi Friends,
I have a query on workflow.
Users creates PO through SRM shopping cart and immedeately they receive a mail in there mail box.Below is the process flow of sending the mail to the user inbox from srm shopping cart.
SRM Shopping Cart>Business Object>Workflow-->Mail
Here my problem is.
The bususinees object generally holds the data for cart number and cart description, but when i am checking the workflow it does not contain any cart number or cart description,so that the mail that is going to user inbox also does not contain any cart number and cart description value.
Recenly our client upgrade from 4.6c to Ecc 6.0 and this problem is happening after the upgradation.
Please suggest if anyone face this kind of problem or anyone having any idea on this.
Pls give me some suggestion.

Hi,
Your condition is puzzling... the workflow in SRM for SC is triggered after the SC is saved.
The PO is a follow-on document after the SC is approved. As such it has no relationship to the backend upgrade since the workflow engine is in the SRM server. Your worflow is triggered from the SC or PO?

now after you fetch data into v_tab,
move it to n_tab.
using a loop at v_tab and move corresponding fields to n_tab's work area
append to n_tab.
once you have populated n_tab and are ready to TRANSFER.
OPEN your file using
open dataset <file> for output in text mode encoding default.
now
loop at n_tab.
TRANSFER n_tab to p_file.
endloop.
CLOSE DATASET.

Event Linkage Getting Disabled In PO release Workflows : Plz help

i am working on PO Release Workflow
my problem is when I create PO and save it , the event linkage in SWETYPV gets disabled
plz help me its urgent.

If you have an error in the event linkage (could be a binding error, or an error in your business object), the event linkage will deactivated (the standard customizing).
You can change this behavior through transaction SWE2 -> double click on your event linkage -> change the "Behavior Upon Error Feedback". (I think you can change this globally but I'm not quite sure where)
In my book best practice here will be;
1. Use the event queue
2. Set the "Behavior Upon Error Feedback" flag to something like "Keep linkage but flag as having an error" - I'm not on the system so I'm not quite sure what it's called
By doing this you make sure that you will collect your event in the event queue, in case of an error.
or
In the detail screen of SWETYPV there's an option called Bahaviour upon error in receiver, if you change this to option 3 then the linkage won't be disabled in cases of errors.
Sometimes you want the event linkage to be disabled in cases of errors, espescially when the only reason that an error can occur is a very serious one.

In bean file,
i will select 5 records from database.Then i will return the result set to first jsp page.
In first jsp page,
i will have two text box with one button.I will show first two fields in two text box.If i click that button it should goto next jsp page.
In second jsp page,
I will have three text box with one button.I will show another three fields in three text box.If i click that button it should goto first jsp page with next record(only if any records r there)..
