Query Related to Work Order

Hello Experts,
I am facing problem regarding costs in work order.
After creating a work order of type PM02 we are not able to view the Plan Cost in "Costs" tab.
This is happening from year 2012 as in previous orders we were able to view the costs in year 2011.
Not able to understand the reason behind it as i am new to this module.

Greetings Himanshu,
I understand you are now able to schedule a PM Order to a 2011 date and see the planned cost there?
There are year-specific settings for planning in General Controlling > Organization > Maintain Versions > General Version Definition > Controlling Area Settings > Settings for Each Fiscal Year
you could try to check if there are relevant entries there for 2012, lack of these settings would prevent planning.

Query related to local Orders ( after it syncs )

Hi all
When we create a local Order "NEW" is assigned to the Order id (I know that internally a unique sync key is defined).
How do i get the corresponding order id after the synchronization without resetting all the data in the client ?

hello vipin,
there's no api to do this at the moment. the "real" key
assigned to your newly created synbo is mapped to your
deviceid in the middleware. so in your client, all newly
created syncbo instances have local keys (<100000). now,
when you try to modify syncbo having these local keys after
you had uploaded them, the middleware takes care which
syncbo instance is to be modified by retrieving the real
global key.
a simple workaround is to define a semantic field which
will be updated with the global key that is returned when
your syncbo is inserted in the backend. if you have worked
with the contact address sample application (SAP_EXM002),
the person number field is a semantic key field which is
assigned with a value on the middleware when the data in
inserted into the backend. this value is then returned to
the client and that field is updated. you can define the
same sort of a semantic key field for the global synckey.

Add new field in Work Order Component Tab

Dear Experts,
Really need your advice to solve my client requirement related to Work Order. The requirement is to put status code and estimated date of returned material in WO Component Tab.
And because we almost use all of fields in Component. So i'm trying to know, is there any configuration (in SPRO - if any) by adding new custom fields in Work Order (WO) Component Tab?.
Or is there any enhancement (EXIT) to add new fields in WO?

To build query related to SNP: Planned Order

Hi,
System: SCM 5.0
Scenario: SO received at plant and planning creates PR against SO at plant and accordingly SNP:Planned Order at Vendor location. If SO is cancelled/deleted (manually), sometime only the PR gets cancelled/deleted (automatically during planning run) but corresponding SNP:Planned Orders still remains at vendor location and so the dependent requirements. PR and Planned Orders are pegged to SO so one-to-one relation is maintained.
I could not find any reason why system is not deleting Planned Order at vendor location despite SO and PR is deleted at plant location. So I am planning to build query where SNP:Planned Orders are not pegged to any PR or SO.
Can anyone help with list of SNP:Planned Order tables so that I can build query around it to identify ghost Planned Orders.

Sorry for delay reply.
I was working on on some other more critical issues to business.
Finally we decided to built report to identify obsolete Planned Orders for which PR is not available in ordering plant. I have listed below logic for that report:
Get Location ID from table /SAPAPO/LOC based on Location entered in selection screen
Get PEGIDs from FM /SAPAPO/DM_MATLOC_GET_PEGIDS based on IV_SIMID as 000 and location id from step 1
In FM /SAPAPO/OM_PEG_CAT_GET_ORDERS, use SIMVERSION as 000 and in Import Para IS_GEN_PARAMS insert all PEGIDs from step 2.
From Export Para ET_PEG_INPNODE take From_OrderID and store in internal table.
Execute T.Code /SAPAPO/RRP4 with following selection (Use Selection Variant: OBSOLETE PR and add Location as entered in Selection Screen)
Planning Version: 000
From: Current date – 60 days
To: Current date +180 days
Location: 0000201328
Product: *
Order Type: 1F
6. Compare output of step 4 and step 5 and display result.
From FM /SAPAPO/DM_MATLOC_GET_PEGIDS the output (step 4) will be Order ID (22 characters) while step 5 (T.Code /SAPAPO/RRP4) will give Planned Order number (8 character). I am not sure how to compare Internal Order ID (22 characters) for corresponding Planned Order Nos. (8 characters).

Work Order Query

I have a query for work order.
1) if parts have been reserved in a work order, what is the method of converting those parts to confirmations?
2) Is there any report which shows parts that have been reserved on work orders ? Or any way to see this?

Hi,
For reservation confirmations got to IW42, it will automatically take movement type 261.
For reservations, goto IW40 and select layout view, there you will get option for Reservations.

Error creating work order for new notification - Related SyncBO not present

We are working with MAM3.0 standard application.
We age getting an error while creating work order for a NEW notification.
In this scenario both notification and corresponding work order are also not created.
Here is the error for MAM30001 Sync BO in MEREP_MONI:_
Reading inbox record (mobile ID=0000001444, seq, no.=29, rcd_cntr=1, data=TOP0001000000
External format successfully converted to internal format: ldata=TOP0001000000000000000
Related SyncBO MAM30_010 with Sync key 0000000028 is not present on the device.
Return code 1 (DOWNLOADER)
   Here is the error for MAM30010 Sync BO in MEREP_MONI:_
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:Order NEW does not exist
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:The order/network type is not defined
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:Order NEW does not exist
Return code 0 (UPDATE MEREP_506-STATUS)
Can any body please tell me what is the sollutions for this error

II have no idea what patch level you are on. A while back we had similar issues with some clients. There are several patches around that area available. Perhaps you should have a look into patch 959732.

In table PRPS/PROJ, ASTNA and ASTNR is applicant number and Applicant.
For the Applicant number and applicant how can I find the mail id. For this even I dont find any check table.
And how Work Order (AUFNR) table is related to PRPS and PROJ tables
Please give me the key fields to match Work Order (AUFNR) to (WBS Element) PRPS and PROJ.
What are the key fields for PRPS/PROJ ASTNA (applicant number) field to Mail id?

Mass Printing of Works Orders and Related Documentation

Hi everyone,
I have a very peculiar problem, and any pointers in the right direction will be appreciated.
If this is not the right forum, please point me into the right direction.
The problem that I have is this:
I print multiple Works Orders (Plant Maintenance) at a time.
Linked to these work orders are Equipments etc. and linked to the Equipments, SAP DMS documents. When priting the Work Orders, the sequence of the related information (e.g. documents) are random, i.e. a user will need to sort the prints to match the Work Order with it's relevant documents.
Essentially, what I need is: print #1 W/O with attached docs, then print #2 W/O with attached docs, then print #3 W/O with attached docs
Any ideas at what I need to look at?
You can imagine if I print 400 works orders and all the documents related to it and it in not collated.

Query shows Work Orders number in description

Hello Experts,
We have such issue that in query which shows costs of Work Orders (module Plant Maintenance) system for some of displayed Work Orders not shows description but Work Order number.
It takes place when one turn on to display Key and Text in WO parameters.
What could be the reason? Whether initial upload of Master Data can help?

Mapping is strange for me because I have as follow:
0PM_ORDER = AUFNR - it is OK
but for long description is
0TXTMD = TXTMD
This TXTMD is strange for me. Do you know why we have it here and what does it mean? Such field ofcourse doesn't exist in ERP.
And additional information is that this long description is not displayed only for WO Types which start from Z*, user defined.
WHAT COULD BE THE REASON?

Work Order Release related issue in PM

Hi Experts,
I am using the WorkOrderRelease template in BLS to release the work order in PM.After creating transaction in BLS , I created Query Template for the same.
Now In both BLS as well as in Query template its working fine.
But when i am trying to create the Display template for the same, i am not able to retrieve column names from OutputXML file automatically once query template is selected .
Please guide me.

ya i also know that it returns only one coulmn ' Message ' as output but thats the only field which will tell the status of releasing action like whether my Order is released or it is already been previously released or there are some other errors. So because of this i need to display that column for which i am not able to create the display template.

Relation between Purchase Order and Work Order Tables

I am trying to create a Func Module as following.
Input : Purchase Order Number, Material Number and Item Number. (Either Item Number or Material Number shall be entered. Output a message if both are blank).
Out put : PO Number, Line item Number, Status of the PO, Material Number / Equipment Number, Work Order Number, Work Center and Cost Center, Person responsible from Work Center.
Is there any link between EKKO, EKPO and AUFK, AFPO?
Can you please help me. or suggest if there is any other way I can do this.
