Ques. about Activation w/ AT&T

Hello Everyone,
I may be in the market for an iPhone in the next few months and have three seperate questions about activation w/ AT&T and service w/ Apple.
- Since you pay full price for the iPhone and there is no subsidy, could you sign w/ AT&T and get a freebie phone (for backup) then buy an iPhone and convert the plan over to an iPhone account?
- If your iPhone needs warranty service, what is the turnaround time thru Apple?
- Can you call through a landline to check your VM on AT&T to avoid using your airtime?

Welcome! Here's a few answers to get ya started :
1. Yes, you can sign with ATT and get a free phone first then transfer the number to an iPhone.
2. Warranty service time will depend on how you exercise your warranty. If you go directly to an Apple store, they generally take care of it right then and there. If you choose to mail it into Apple, you'll need to account for shipping time and such things.
3. Yes, you can check your voicemail from a landline. Just call your number and then press the "*" key and you'll be able to enter your password and check your messages. Something to remember though, on the iPhone, you have visual voicemail, which is part of the unlimited iPhone data plan. So, you can check your voicemail without ever using airtime on the iPhone.

Can you activate CS3. If you lost your serial you can retrieve it from Adobe.com. Sign in at Adobe.com the use this link https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html When your Adobe Product list is displayed click on your CS3 product your serial number should be displayed.

Question about activating iPhone

I'm getting a iPhone soon, and have a question about activation. Is a credit card or debit card required during activation?

The credit card is used to setup an iTunes Store account, Small tip. Set one up before activation to cut down on activation setup time.
You can remove the credit card info off your iTunes account after it is setup. It is simply used for when you want to purchase music, videos, etc. off the iTunes Store.
If you do not have a credit or debit card, Try going down to your local Walmart or Drug store, Some of these places sell Fillable Credit cards. You can buy the cheapest one they have and use it for Setup of the account. And simply refill it if you need more money for any purchases.

Lamento que no puedas recibir llamadas desde Venezuela. Parece ser un problema con la compañía Venezolana o con el operador Español que usas. Recomendaría que te pongas en contacto con SIMYO para ver porque no estas recibiendo las llamadas.

" While debugging a simple query with where clause i am getting dump...but when i set up a break point after 2 or 3 sentenses it is executed fine without any dump "

I think you are placing break point in <b>select & end-select</b>
In between select and end-select , if you place any break point ,then there commit statement will trigger,
thats may be the reason ,
so mostly the Programmers are advised to not place any Break points in between Select & end-select.
In your case just place the breakpoint after End-select
or before select

Hi everyone, need your precious helps about active IP 3gs

Hi there, I've got an locked IP 3gs from at&t carrier, us (FW 3.1.3) However, I've upgraded it to 4.0.1 recently without JBreak because I'd used it like an ipod touch, and now it only appears nO SIM CARD installed, insert a valid sim with no pin lock to activate IP. THerefore, if anybody in London has one AT&T sim card, can I borrow just a second for activation.

Dear Nirav,
When you run the table maintainence :
1) In two step, you would get a pop-up window when you click on a row of the table you mean to change. This helps keep things simple.
2) Otherwise, you would have to say , in a table of 1000 rows , edit somewhere in tht complex matrix .
If you dont want to go through filling in a pop-up window for every row , u may choose one step.
You can always revert back to any of these options , so go ahead and try any one of them.

Media Encoder error about activation when exporting in activated version of Premiere CS4

I get the following error when I try to export media in Premiere CS4 (Note: I have a legal and activated copy of CS4 Master Collection). In Premiere, it appears to go through (the loading progress bar fills and then disappears) but when I check the folder, it's empty. And then I notice that there's another icon in my taskbar and oh hey, it says "AMT Subsystem Error: Thank you for using Adobe Media Encoder CS5. The Adobe product that installed Media Encoder has not activated. Please launch and activate that Adobe product before continuing to use Media Encoder."
I'm using Windows 7 x64 (8gb of RAM). I tried installing the patch as suggested in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/719451 but it only claimed to not have the corresponding program installed. I tried checking to see if there were any updates - there weren't.
A quick check on my computer reveals that both Media Encoder CS4 and CS5 are installed. I looked to see if there was a way to uninstall the CS5 version but didn't see it. The only way I think I could have gotten it was though some sort of Adobe update.
Any ideas of how to fix this?

Hi: I have the same problem, but it happened very suddenly and after very specific updates. I successfully encoded a file using the CS6 encoder. Then, I allowed updates to Adobe Media Player and Adobe Air. I tried to encode with CS6 again and it had stopped working - all in the space of 5 minutes. A reboot did not help. I also have CS4 and CS 5.5 installed and have had all along (which means that you can have them and use the CS6 encoder). Since I can no longer use the CS6 encoder, but am able to launch an older one, I am using that for the moment. I hope that this reply will be of some help in finding a solution.

Question about activation key for pre-installed software after hard drive failure.

I had a hard drive failure on my MacBook Pro last week and had it replaced by Apple. When I restored my computer with a Time Machine backup, Office 2011 wants an activation key to start up again. Problem is, I had Office pre-installed when I bought my MacBook by Apple. Where do I get the activation key to get it working again?

Do you still have the signons.sqlite and key3.db files from the IT setup?
You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
Look for:
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)

Information about activation-statistics from a DSO.

Hello,
after activating a request in an DSO, I can see the three key-figures in the log-window:
1) Number of inserted Records
2) Number of updates Records
3) Number of deleted Records
Unfortunately I see this information for each Data-Package, but I need it for the whole request.
Because I have many DSOs and very many Data-Packages it is very hard to add this data manually.
Is this information stored in any table, so that i can get it with the Data-Browser (SE16) ?

Hi Alice,
in the table you mentioned, I can see only the active records.
But I will try to analyse the change-log of the DSO, might be this will bring the needed information.
(The reason for all of this effort is, to find out, wether it is neccessary to implement a delta-handling for a DSO or not.)
