Hi Everyone,
Quest have launched their On Demand Player on YouView.  Quest is an educational and entertainment TV channel on Freeview 37 (+1 on 38) that airs programmes like ‘How it’s made’ and ‘Wheeler- dealers’.
The new player will be available on YouView alongside the other On Demand Players, such as BBC iPlayer.  For more information you can see the official press release via this link Quest launches on demand with YouView

I have normal bb (18mb close to exchange) webpage for bt products is poor to understand if you have vision box, because of 2 avialable bb, normal or infinty, why dont they have 3 columns
youview infinty                Vision+ infinity                         Vision+ normall bb
And why not 4 columns as some customers have Youview + normal bb ?
I think it is probably more useful to think of the TV package and broadband type combinations. BT usually don't put all the combinations on the web pages, just the ones they are currently keen to push.
Last month we had the following possibilities. Basically you had to have Infinity for the Extra channel packages.
Normal Broadband + TV Essential
Infinity Broadband + TV Essential
Infinity Broadband + TV Essential Extra
Normal Broadband + TV Unlimited
Infinity Broadband + TV Unlimited
Infinity Broadband + TV Unlimited Extra
This month I think they have reduced it to the following for new customers. They have basically got rid of the Unlimited packages and now offer the bolt-ons instead.
Normal Broadband + TV Essential
Infinity Broadband + TV Essential
Infinity Broadband + TV Entertainment  (renamed version of TV Essential Extra)
As Stew says, the box is only relevant in that they can't offer BT Sports via the TV aerial on the Youview box (no card slot) and they also can't offer Sky Sports on the Youview box (still arguing with Sky about this). The BT Vision+ box can do these, but can't get a few catch-up players like Milkshake, and can't get additional 3rd party players like Sky Now. So you get the box that matches the services that you want.

Are old versions of flash player available?

You can get FP 9 by specifying an older OS version at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

The plug-in is for browsers use only. Not for desktop use.
You are looking for the standalone flashplayer.
For now, you can open .swf files directly with your internet
    browser, but that is it.

  • When will there be an adobe flash player available to Windows Phone users?

I'm just wondering when there will be a flash player available to windows phone users.

No one here would be privi to Apple's plans on the matter. Submit your feedback to Apple requesting such a feature:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
In the interim, there is a reminder program for pretty much every need and taste in the App Store.

  • Is adobe flash player available for iPad?

Is adobe flash player available for iPad?

There is no Flash Player for iOS; Apple won't allow it.

  • Is flash player available for iphone?

is flash player available for iphone orelse adobe and apple working on it?

Flash player for iPhone is conspicuously absent. Apple doesn’t and probably won’t even support Adobe’s Flash plugin because Apple charges that Flash uses up computing and battery resources too quickly and that it’s unstable, which leads it to cause computer crashes which Apple doesn’t want as a part of the iPhone experience.

  • Will there be a 'Pepper' Linux Flash Player available from Google for versions after 11.2?

    Adobe has stated that:
"For Flash Player releases after 11.2, the Flash Player browser plugin for Linux will only be available via the “Pepper” API as part of the Google Chrome browser distribution and will no longer be available as a direct download from Adobe. "
To me this sounds like going forward, after 11.2,  all Linux Flash Players will be released by Google as part of Chrome using Pepper and not by Adobe - but that there will be Linux Flash Players after 11.2, its just that they are only available in Chrome. However most people in the community seem to have interpreted this to mean 11.2 is the last Linux Flash Player ever other than 5 years of security updates from Adobe. Could an Adobe employee please clarify? Will there be Linux Flash Players, via Pepper and Chrome, for 11.3, 11.4. ...12 and so on? This is crutially important for those using the Flash Player within the embeded Linux market.
    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

  • I wanted to ask is adobe flash player available on android phones?

Is there a free version of Adobe flash player on android phone?...please help

    HI ali,
No, Flash Player is not available for mobile devices.  Adobe discontinued support for Android (it was never available on iOS) a few years ago.  An alternative option is to use the puffin browser, Puffin Web Browser - The fastest mobile browser with Flash support over cloud on iPad, iPhone and Android., which runs Flash in the cloud.

I live in Canada and just got a tablet. Whenever I open the browser it alerts me that I haven't yet downloaded flash player and gives me the option to redirect to the download page, but then it isn't available in my country. I bought an android tablet instead of an ipad mostly because they're supposed to run flash player The tablet just came out today, will it become availabe eventually? Is there any place other than the tablet included app store that I could download flash player?

  • Introducing the Ginger FLV Player, the most expansive media player available!

Hi, my name is Tim Erickson.
My company just launched the Ginger FLV Player and I would
like you to take a look!
Ginger is a full XML media player that allows for the most
flexibility. All you need is a text editor to start editing the
most expansive media player on the market. You can even integrate
other languages such as PHP and JS to take total control of the
application; and everything is parsed at runtime! Ginger really has
no boundaries, and you can download the fully featured free version
    to take a trial run.
If you have any more questions take a look around the site,
watch the developer tutorial videos (we are working on more!), or
shoot me an email at [email protected]

    Thanks!

Hey Dave - I don't think you're missing anything, I get the same - Adobe Media Player is just a soon-to-be discontinued product. Check here for a couple more details.
You could uninstall it I guess but it's only 3Mb, may as well leave it there.  Cheers - Chris

  • Is Flash Player available for IE9 yet?

Hello, I have FP 10.2 installed on Chrome and IE8 and FP 11 installed on Firefox. My OS is Windows 7 64 bits. I want to update IE but I'm not sure if Flash Player is ready or not. Is it?

Hi, yes it is. Several users have had IE9 for some time and use the Flash Player 10.2.152.32. You might like to see this from Microsoft since you have Win7. Some new features, especially the ActiveX Filtering. You may already be aware of it, but this link has the info on IE9.

FP direct download/Install (uncheck McAfee/Google Toolbar if not wanted, 2 places?) http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
It is recommended to uninstall all previous versions (download uninstaller). All browser windows must be closed when the uninstaller runs. Also disable any instant messenger service in the system tray. Norton and McAfee AV may need to be disabled also.
Make sure to uncheck any unwanted software offers during the installation.

  • 6280 media player available ????

Is there any software available for nokia 6280 to view video files ? Because the one present in phone does not have any forward or reverse option.

He doesn't know what he's talking about.
Brick means kill yes but it won't.
It has to detect the phone first, it will say 'phone not supported' when you run NSU because it knows it's a 6280 which can't be updated.
