i have two questation about instaling MBAM :)
a) is possible install report server on another comtuter then MBAM server ? I want install mbam in the server a and in the server b I want have report services with report services DB
b)if I try install Administration website the installer want ASP.NET MVC runtime . In the microsoft pages I found link and try install . but in the firts step is download and install express database why ???

I had this same problem where it asked to install SQL Express. I found a different link on Microsofts Website that did not require SQL Express, but still passed the pre-requsuite check in MBAM.

No the TPM must only be enabled. The MBAM agent will initialize the TPM for you.

HT1349 How do I go about installing software from a disc onto my ipad2? I have no external drive, but do have a PC with iTunes on it. Someone suggested I could load it into iTunes and then sync with the iPad, but this suggestion doesn't seem to work.

Even if there was a convenient way, the software will not run on the pad. Ios is a unique language, and only programs written for ios will run on the pad. All of the programs are in the app store. You might look there and see if the company that makes your sfotware also has an ios version, which would be in the store.

Unable to install MBAM 2.5 with SCCM integration on named SQL instance

Hi,
in production i am installing MBAM 2.5 with SCCM integration but during the installation it asks for the SCCM reporting services point and which it is unable to recognize.
whereas in my lab environment i have default SQL instance which has reporting installed, in that case it works fine.
can someone let me know why the issue is coming?
in the event log the issue is : Description = "user domain\username is not able to get the lock at this time.Error:0x40480732"

For the integration part, You need to install the MBAM SCCM Integration feature on SCCM server. For compliance reporting in integration, MBAM uses the Reporting service point for SCCM.
When installing the SCCM integration feature, you need to provide the name of the reporting Server where Reporting Service point role is installed for SCCM. But it does not provides any option for the instance but for the Server only. We have two instances
for SQL. One for CAS and other for Primary site. We need to run the installer on CAS and hence need to connect to the SQL instance for CAS.
We have also tried with the powershell commands but it is not working either.
Is there any way to install MBAM integration feature on a SQL instance. As far as I know, it automatically picks the instance but not happening for me.

Question about installing a SSD drive and how to clone

Greetings,
I have a 2007 white macbook w/ 80GB HD. I have been thinking about installing a 60 GB SSD drive from OWC as the price has come down tremendously and honestly just to see how it improves boot time, launch, applications etc. I don't keep much stuff on this macbook as it is purely a "browsing" computer but I was wondering how to best clone the hard drive to the new one?
From what I understand, I use an application like Carbon copy cloner and backup "all data". Then, I turn the macbook over and follow the instructions for installing the new drive. Then, I guess I boot up and format the new drive with Snow Leopard.
When do I actually tell the recently formatted computer to transfer the data from the backup clone? Do I do this during the opening migration screen? I know how to import data from another computer using Firewire and a cable, however, does the new SSD formatted computer understand how to boot from the carbon copy cloner backup without installing this software on the new drive?

I am no expert on SSDs. Here is how I would do it with a regular HDD. Note: You will need an external 2.5" enclosure.
Clone Old HDD to new HDD using SuperDuper
• Install new HDD in enclosure
• Connect to the computer and boot from internal HDD.
• Launch Disk Utility and format new HDD in enclosure (post for step by step directions, if needed)
• Download and launch SuperDuper
• In the Copy field select your internal HDD
• To is your newly formatted HDD in enclosure
• Using *backup all files*
• Click Options button
• Check *Repair Disk Permissions on Source*
• During copy Erase Destination HDD then copy from Source
• On successful completion Quit SuperDuper
• Shut down computer and with external still connected
• Option boot from external HDD to check clone.
• If everything checks out, remove new HDD from enclosure and install in computer.
• Install old HDD in enclosure (if desired)

Error while installing MBAM on my SCCM Server

I´m not sure if you suppose setup the integration on CAS. I believe it suppose to be a Primary Site Server which is meant for integration. Check this out:

Question about installing drivers on Vi

Hey,?Within the next couple of weeks, I intend to purchase a?X-Fi Fatalty FPS card. I know the Vista drivers aren't up to scratch at the moment, but I'm in no rush to upgrade to Vista, although I have access to the RTM through TechNet. As soon as all drivers are of a good standard then I'll upgrade - until then I'd stick with XP which works great. My question is this, If I buy this card it'll ship with a driver CD. I'll need to install the drivers/creative applications from this CD and then update them from the website. The drivers on the disc will be for Windows XP, and not compatible with Vista. When I format the dri've and install Vista, how do I go about installing the Creative Vista drivers. The downloadable ones from the website require the main CD drivers to be installed, which I won't be able to install as they're for XP. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Ooh, perhaps I got the wrong end of the stick then. Im basing this on my experience with an old Creative Audigy card I had years ago, but If memory serves me correctly it was actually an OEM card. So what you're saying is, when I receive my X-Fi, I can not use the CD and straight away download the latest drivers/apps from the creative website and install them without needing to run the CD through first?Thanks for your reply.

Hi I have basic questation about backup database . If I set DPM to backup database and the database have full model and another application truncate log. Detect this dpm and create full backup or create error ?

If you want another backup process to truncate the logs instead of DPM, you can just configure DPM to synchronize
just before a recovery point. That basically tells DPM to just perform express full backups which will not truncate logs.

If i create in the windows backup server job , where i backup disk D , target is NAS disk and start it . Windows backup is requester and is created shadow copy . This shadow copy is created in the disk D or in the NAS disk ? If in the disk D is created for
everyone application snapshot ? After created snapshot the windows backup copy data from snapshot to windowsimagebackup ? And If windows backup create different snapshot how detect which files is changed ?

Windows Server Backup stores backup versions in volume shadow copies. After the data write is complete, Windows Server Backup creates a shadow copy of the volume where the backup is stored using Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). This shadow copy retains the

Alibutlerdesigns you will use the same process to install on your second computer. You can copy the installation files using a USB drive if you do not wish to download the installation files again.

Uninstall - file that stores info about installed products

Hi,
I want to uninstall EPM system. The problem is that Hyperion does not offer products to unistall. It shows just clean window. In cmd line i also get a lot of java errors. It says 'Premature end of file'. It seems it can not parse some file that stores the info about installed products.

If you are deleting everything manually then
Stop any hyperion related services.
Delete all from under the Hyperion directory
Delete from the registry :- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hyperion Solutions
Delete file .oracle.products
There are some environment variables but you may not to remove them all e.g. HYPERION_HOME, EAS_HOME, ESSLANG
Drop and recreate rdbms databases.

To fix this people you need to update your original software first apple icon top left then software update (As
shown. If you have already formatted your hardrive when attempting to install from boot drive (USB), you will need to shutdown and restart your mac holding the "Command + R" key together, this requires internet access to re download and install your orginal software because you have wiped it. After it has installed you will then be able to install MAVERICKS! by following the steps you have mentioned.
