Question about an HP Deskjet 1050 print, scan and copy

I'm trying to scan something so that it goes on the computer and not print a copy. Can you help me?????

I can help you with this.
This printer has the feature to copy from the printer itself.
For scanning you have to use the software from the computer.
I have provided a document for how to scan with and without HP software.
Just select your operating system from the list. Scan.

Can't print online after installing IE9, HP Deskjet 1050 print scan copy

A week ago or so I installed IE9, had IE7 and it just was not working with allot of web pages so I updated to IE9.
I sell on ebay and I went to make a printing label thru ebays site and I keep getting this error message.

I have just spent 5 hrs online trying to solve this problem. Read many helps/tips and none worked.
Here is just a little of what I have did and nothing worked.
1. uninstalled/installed printer
2. Installed updated software for printer(unpluged printer USB before uninstall/install)
3. Found online that HP printers don't work with IE9, info said to dnlded HP Smart Print 2.1(didn't help after reboot)(also HP web printing was not located in my Added programs, it said to uninstall that first)
4. Had no idea if I had "bing bar" so I found an dnld for Bing Bar.(didn't help after reboot)Bing Bar was also not found on added programs in control panel
5. Uninstalled and installed software for printer again, rebooted and still will not print online.
6. I do have the little HP Smart Print icon on the command toolbar but when ever I clicked on it, it never did nothing.
I am about ready to uninstall IE9. I hate to go back to IE7 but I heard IE8 is junk. Thats why I never installed it.
I have to get it working, I have shipping labels to print.
NOTE: Yes I have spent 6 hrs researching HP's forums, Microsoft forums, and many other forums and nothing works.
P.S. After installing HP Smart Print 2.1 and Bing Bar I did check Manage Addons to make sure they was enabled, they both are.

I have no problem printing anything offline like notebook pages, etc. can't print any online page.
IE9 and HP printers stink as on this past week. I have used HP printers for approx 15 yrs and NEVER had a problem like this before. I will never have a problem like this again, as soon as I buy a replacement NON- HP printer.
I have wasted at least 5 days online researching a fix and I finally found how to get the bing bar so show. In this link http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie9-windows_vista/bing-bar-wont-display/52f87a48-ef7d-e0..., the guy says check "Enable third-party browser extensions" on Adv. tab in internet options. When I did that the bing bar showed. But doing that puts my PC as more risk.

THen I dnlded the lasted driver for my HP 1050.....
And it still does not print online pages, let alone my ebay S&H labels. I get error messages. I have had it with this whole mess. Like I said I will be getting a new printer(and it won't be HP either).

Missing Lines when printing, scanning or copying HP Deskjet 3055A- need to use cartidge guarantee

I have a HP Deskjet 3055A and since I put a new HP cartidge my printing, scanning and copying miss some lines. In other words, some lines are printed and some are not. This only happens with the black cartidge and not when I print in other colours. I read the HP guidlines for " Streaks or Missing Lines in the Patterns or Bars on the Extended Self-test Report" and I follow the whole proceeding, including the cleaning of the ink cartidge and NOTHING HAS WORKED. As the cartidge was recently bought I want it to be replaced. That's what the garantee is for, isn't it?
So my question is how to proceed now?

I saw your post about your Deskjet 3055A now showing print quality issues since changing the ink cartridges. I understand you have done some troubleshooting however, I wanted to publicly post the guide I would recommend for the problem you're having.

Can't get my deskjet 1050 printer to work as wireless

How do I to use my deskjet 1050 printer as wireless by connecting it to my router? Windows 8 64-bit. It keeps saying, I need to install the wireless connection procedure, but I can't find anything like that. My router is supposed to be able to turn any printer into a wireless.

Even though this printer isn't wireless, there is a way to to use it wirelessly!Here's what you need:Google Chrome on whatever computer you're trying to use the printer froma Google account so you can sign into chrome DO THESE FIRST STEPS ON THE COMPUTER THAT THE PRINTER IS ALREADY CONNECTED TO VIA USB CABLE okay so what you have to do is open up chrome and in the top right hand corner there is a little button looks like three stacked horizontal linesclick that and sign into google chrome (a gmail account works or create a new account)then what you have to do is click that same button and go to settingsscroll all the way down and click advanced settingsonce again, scroll all the way down until you get to Google Cloud Printclick manage and then click add printersit will go to another screen and you should be able to search/add the hp deskjet (this may take a little patience)once everything is connected, all that is left is to print go to the customize and control button (that 3 horizontal lines button in the top right hand corner in crhome) go to settings > advanced settings > cloud print > manage and click the hp deskjeton the left hand side click print and click upload file to printthen pick whatever fille you want to print and WAHLAA! its printing (as long as ur printer is powered on of course)this way you can print wirelessly without losing formatting like you would if you uploaded it to google docsnow you can print to this printer from any computer as long as you are signed in from chrome and the printer is on! OK, unplug the power cord from both the wall and the printer for 5 minutes. Plug back in (into a wall outlet, not a power strip or surge protector) and turn on.

I had a HP3052 whith a scaner message error 5 which can't print anymore. Anyway scanning with this HP is not supported anymore. So looking into the huge HP compatibility list on the web I see no good choice:

The new HP LaserJet M127fn MFP duplex is not even on this list...
I prefer laser than ink printers (I hate buying cartridges every month or have the system stuck with dry ink when not used for a month).
There are some good brother laserprinters, e.g. MFC7860DW, but PC-Fax doesn't work on Mac (I believe).

Having difficulty scanning and copying on Office jet 6500A plus. Prints fine. Scans and copies are illegible and contain hundreds of vertical lines. I did all of the various cleaning tasks suggested.

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

I tried to make an image preloaded and scale the image to
it's preferred size.
When I came to consolidate the stuff into a component, I
found the application goes weird as I implementation the show/hide
effect.
The third trial which just hide and show the images directly,
instead of using viewstack, fail to bring the second image onto
screen.
It just used fadeOut instead of fadeIn(you see there is a
flash of the second image)
After some study of showEffect and hideEffect behaviour,
seems the mechanism of hide/show a component works in this way:

this._fadeIn.alphaTo = 1;
this._fadeIn.duration = 1000;

From what I observe from the application, I have two
question.
1) When more than one component using the this._fadeIn,
this_fadeOut as the hide/show effects, the component in instance of
this._fadeIn? will it mess out if more than one component using the
fadeIn instance in the same time?
2) from the third component, i.e. PictureHolder3, when I load
other the picture , it fade out the new image instead of fading
in... Seems there is problem if I hide show too frequent. I think
when I hide then show right the way, the component only do the hide
part...
Can someone pls look into it and tell me what I did wrong?

HP Photosmart 5525 problem with scanning and copying

Hello Everyone,
I bought a new HP Photosmart 5525 few months ago and it was working fine with everything but suddenly it stopped scanning and copying. while copying it doesnt do anything and while scanning it gives the error message
" Scanner communicatioon cannot be established. Ensure your product is powered on, check the connection, and ensure your network is functioning properly"
i tried everything but i couldn't fix it. i would really appriciate any sort of help.

I read about the issue you're having with copying and scanning from your Photosmart 5525 unit, and wanted to reach out to you.
I would personally think that there could be a "Scanner failure" with your printer, and would like you to check out a post from my colleague @RnRMusicMan below and follow the guide he suggested to someone else with the same issue. If the copies still do not work when done troubleshooting, call technical support directly to discuss your printer replacement options with HP.

Scan and copy with MP240

ist it possible to use MP240 multifunction Device only for scan and copy without cartridges to be inside? how can i turn the error and warning messages and use only scanner ?

Hello M4n0u,
Both ink cartridges will need to be in the printer in order for the printer to scan, copy, or print, even if the ink cartridges are low or out of ink. If both ink cartridges are installed, you can press and hold down the STOP/RESET button on the unit for at least 5 seconds, then release it to disable the ink level detection function of the printer and be able to scan until you are able to replace the ink cartridges. Scanning and Copying result in all black and lines. (with link to the scanned picture)

Whatever I try to scan and copy, even blank, the result is the same all black and full of lines.

The printer hasn't been used in a while, I just used it recently and the ink even dried out. Bought ink and printer's working fine.
