Question about document being inaccessible after saving this may be long!

for some reason when i save a document i am not always able to re-access it. i have a number of documents "saved" to the desktop (i don't know how they got there), i can't delete them ( i don't have
"sufficient privileges") and when I go to open them to either attach to an e-mail or just re-read they are greyed out! I can no longer download documents from the internet because I don't have enough disk space but I just emptyed the trash bin (whew!) I am EXTREMELY frustrated and am overjoyed that i finally figured out how to get to this forum. please help me!

Thanks to all of our valued community members for your suggestions. Adding to what was stated, the upgrading of a phone for says on that same line that did the upgrade under a new two year agreement. I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.

Question about document/literal web service

Hello every body.
I have some question about document/literal web service.
I’ve been working with Axis before.
Axis has four valid signatures for your message-style service methods:
public Element [] method(Element [] bodies);
public SOAPBodyElement [] method (SOAPBodyElement [] bodies);
public Document method(Document body);
public void method(SOAPEnvelope req, SOAPEnvelope resp);
The same I am trying to do with WebLogic API for webservices.
But when I am trying to test web service (public Document method (Document body); )
I have serialized exceptions for org.w3c.dom.Document.
Do I have to write a custom class for org.w3c.dom.Document serialization?
If yes can you give me some idea or example?
The all idea behind this web service is. I have just one web service and mane classes for XML processing. Depends what xml document will be during runtime, web service will be using different class for xml processing. It works fine with Axis, but in case of WebLogic I have some problem.
One more question… How I have to call this web service from java client?
I have seen this example http://www.manojc.com/?sample31 ,
but this web service looks like (Document helloDom()). I need to send Document.
This example works for Dynamic Proxy, but does not work for static call.

I'm not sure that Lion AutoSave feature apply to network servers.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. Why are my text box contents being deleted after saving a Word document?

Image document looks 'cloudy' after saving

I saved a logo I've completed at work using CS6, and saved it in CS5 format and also as a PDF. However when I open them both (one in illustrator and the other in Adobe Reader) they both have a cloudy, hazy effect over them. The colours aren't bright and crisp like they were when I saved them at work in CS6. I have them saved as RGB as well...at least that's what it showed the document colour mode was when I checked it.
Anything that would explain this? I've had it before but never thought too much about it until now. I'd love to know what causes it!

Depends. If you selected colors based on your wrong settings, a blue that looks fine on your skerwed monitor may of course look completely dull elsewhere. I recommend you do a simple test andf build your own color chart - create an RGB document, draw some boxes, fill them with the "pure" colors for blue, red, green, yellow etc. directly picked from the default swatches, then do the same building a greyscale "Gamma" ramp from boxes placed in a strip. Then save that document to a PDF and a "dumb" pixel format like BMP that doesn't use emebedded color profiles and compare them externally as well as inside the Adobe apps with default sRGB color profiles. If they don't look right anywhere, this might give you an indication of where to start, i.e. if they look correct inside Adobe apps but not elsewhere, you may have assigned a wrong monitor color profile and non-color-managed applications don't correct for it and in reverse, if those colors look wrong in Adobe apps, you may have set a wrong proof preview, globally assigned a wrong document color profile or screwed up otherwise like e.g. applying a color tweak in your graphics card settings. anyway, as I mentioned, you should not expect easy solutions. Really do start by resetting your system's color settings everywhere, building that chart (or downloading one) and comparing results, then tippi-toe your way through...

I have 2 questions regarding DoR:
Is there any backup on application level to documents which were added and later deleted/overwritten? Is there something like versioning or date tracking?
Can I personalize the DoR search to include other attribute fields from person or assignment such as assignment location, supervisor etc...?

Business of Size of 8k to 10 K using this functionality atlest 15 Documents each employee, System does not have restriction to be used be for 20 K employee also.

As my understanding E-Biz and Fusion are different Product suite. There is not upgrade structure exist from E-Biz to Fusion for any product and its components.

Question about documents folder in the "stacks"

Hey everyone. Here is my question.....In my documents folder that is in the stacks section there is one labeled iChats (Which of course stores my iChat conversations)
I would like to know if I can remove it from stacks but leave it on my hard drive? Basically, does everything I put in my documents folder in the HD show up in the stacks documents folder? Is there another place where I can put some of these items that I do not want to appear in the stacks?

Saved Document Number needed after saving the customer company code data

I created a customer than I saved the company code data and forgot to note the number the saved document number. Next time I went to the same customer again and I wanted to find out the saved document number for the same customer but did not know where to look for. Can you tell me what I should do?

For any customer there will be general data,Company code data and sales area data.
Even though you maintain the general data or company code data only one numebr will be generated.
If you want to maintain some other data as comapny code data and sales area data we will goto XD02 and enter the company code,sales area nd customer number in the initial screen and we will maintain that data.
I think you are thinking that different number will be created for different data which is wrong.
So enter the same number and company code in XD03 and view your data.

Question About the New Update Due out this Month

Hi I would like to know when Apple, does come out with the New update this month will it be for the New iPhone, do out on June 9th,2008 or for the People who have the Old iPhone, that will then be out dated?

Firmware update 2.0 will be for all existing iPhones, and for all iPod Touch(es), but iPod Touch owners must pay a nominal fee for the update due to accounting reasons.
Firmware update 2.0 will likely be pre-installed on the 2nd generation iPhone. If not, it can be installed as an update the same as for the first generation iPhone.

If any here has played nexuiz, please tell me how to get past the bot games. Maybe I downloaded the wrong version or game but I can't seem to get to anything other bot matches. I want the regular doom or quake type of game and not the bots. I don't have many resources and my internet is very expensive. I work on a ship. Question about Stacked Chart ... is this possible?

This seems possible but I cannot get APEX to do it, wondering if someone has any ideas:
Say I have a table with multiple records with columns which contain a DATE, PERSON, TEAM ...
I am comparing number of records per team but trying to show in the STACK how each person contributed ...
Lets say there are 5 teams ...
I want to end up with a STACKED BAR chart which shows HOW MANY INSTANCES (count(*)) per TEAM ...
I want to end up with 5 BARs and each subdivided with the number of record instances which each PERSON in that team.
So at the end of the day, we can see how different people contributed to the overall total of a team and we can see how each team fared against one another ...

You would build a series per team and group on your date value with same aggregate.

Question about Documents Assignment

At the T_code:MM02, I maintain a material with a document assingment of 5000000001,but as I put the the material in a BOM,the document couldn't appear in the BOM item which label named "documents assignment".Can anyone tell me the reason?

Hi Huang,
As documents are linked through object links,Material Master,BOM Header & BOM Item are three different objects.
Firstly the documents which are linked in Material Master the same has to be viewed without attaching in BOM,
docuble click on component where it leads to material master display screen and see the document.
Secondly from DMS, documents cannot be linked to BOM Header and BOM Item.Even though if u want to link ,attach documents while u create BOM
