Question about - doing quotation of SAP material

Hello,
I am interested in keeping up our rules, and I want to show with my behavior a good example to others.
So my question is:
Am I allowed to post a screenshot of a pichture from SAP training material.
I will wirte down the correct quotation.
Example: Discussion about cost elements, giving explanation and refer to SAP material.

actually say: Please do not copy others work without first gaining written permission from the originator. This includes SAP help files and training materials.
I have no problem with a single screenshot with a clear quote as shown above, but we always have to see it in context, this should not be seen as a clean bill of health.
If the copyright holder still has an issue then he can alert the moderators.

The question about max line item in material document

I want to excute CO27 for an FP . It will create material documents. The max line item is 100 in each material document. But I want to record 400 lines in a material document. Is it possbile to change the number of max line in material document? How could I do to change that ? Thanks !!

I know about 333 in case of physical inventory because the finacial document has a technical limitation of 3 digits for Fi document item number, which means the FI document cannot take more than 999 lines.
In case of physical inventory a material document item can create up to 3 FI item lines. So the limit for physical inventory became 333.
I dont know from where you have the 100 as limitation, but take the above said into consideration before you change anything.

Question about table logs in SAP

Hello,
What table's do the transaction codes ST03 and STAD retrieve log history files from?
Are these tables automatically logged by SAP, such as table CHDHR, or does table logging specifically have to be turned on for these table's?

Question about doing math in pdf form

Hi, I have created a filable form in adobe. I am trying to perform some basic math in this pdf form but I can't seem to get it to work. I have few fields that I am using basic logic to calculate one field. I used the following code.
if (Dropdown4> 0){
KWH = Dropdown3 * Dropdown4 * KWH1;}
else
{KWH = Dropdown3*Dropdown4*Dropdown1;}
endif
KWH1 is a fillable field but dropdown1, dropdown 3 and dropdown 4 are fields with drop down lists. I want to populate field KWH based on the logic above. I don't get any result whatsoever. The KWH field is blank.

The custom calculate script for the KWH field would be something like:

var DD1 = +getField("Dropdown1").value;
var DD4 = +getField("Dropdown4").value;
var DD3 = +getField("Dropdown3").value;
var KWH1 = +getField("KWH1").value;
// Set this field's value

That last line is equivalent to:
if (DD4 > 0) {
event.value = DD3 * DD4 * KW1;
} else {
event.value = DD3 * DD4 * DD1;

Question about Crystal Reports and SAP 2007

Good day experts,
I am in the process of creating a Cross Tab report in Crystal Reports, When I get to the screen Cross Tab Report Creation Wizard, any UDFs contained within the source Stored Procedure are not available for selection.
I have tried adding other UDFs to the Stored Procedure and they are also not available.
Is this correct? To me a UDF is just another field in the SAP table.

Hi OB........
The UDFs you created and taken into the Query you have to cast it into nvarchar. And then only it will show it in your crystal......
Try this Cast(U_UDF as nvarchar) put your UDF code in place of UDF........

Question about doing an index

I am doing a cookbook. I want to do an index that lists all the pages where the word "Apple" appears. The "Classroom in a Book" leaves me with the sickening impression that I am going to have to go through all 350 pages and mark every time Apple appears in order to get it into my index properly. Is there a simple way to have InDesign find all the occurences of "Apple" (and "Bean" and Banana", etc.) without my having to individually mark each and every occurrence?

That is how a professional indexer would make the preliminary list. (And after generating this preliminary list, this hypothetical indexer goes over the list again and again, concatenating, merging, deleting, and moving items around. Otherwise it would be a simple word lookup list.)
But aside from that:

There is a button "Add All" in that very same dialog you are using to "Add" a single entry. Guess what it does.

Question about doing application development against older versions of Access

I'll be working on a MS Access 2007 application written by someone else, whose no longer here. I've no experience writing MS Access applications, however I've used MS Access several times through the years as a desktop database. Therefore I know it's possible
to open an older Access database, say Access 2007, with a newer version of Access. You can bring up tables, query definitions, etc. and do normal database things in newer versions of Access against older .mdb's or .accdb's.
What I don't know is if it is possible to also do development against older versions of Access. Can I have MS Access 2013 on my development PC, but open a MS Access 2007 database with the Access application in it, and do development? Or will Access 2013
insist that I upgrade the older database file to Access 2013?

One can definitely open and use it with Access 2013 (note - we haven't gotten to 'develop' it yet.....)
Generally an app written with the 2007 edition is going to be a .accdb file - but it is possible it is the older .mdb file format.
In development is your issue; the latest edition has newer features that the older edition can't possibly know about. Nothing unique about Access on this point. It just is. So if you invoke any of those - then you'll lose your backward
ability as a 2007 user won't be able to open it.
I definitely have tried to open an app in 07 only to receive a 'not recognized' type error message - and moved that app over to my 13 machine where it opened fine....and was never able to find which feature unique to 13 was the culprit....
So if you tread cautiously you can be okay - and while I think I know the features that differentiate the products, I still prefer to play it safe and do all development in the edition that is used.

Questions about 1003051 - TDMS 3.0 corrections - Composite SAP Note

We, from a big SAP shop, want to set up TDMS for ERP, BI, HCM and CRM.
We have some questions about note 1003051:
1) Is this note about ERP (and HCM) only? If so, what are the notes for TDMS on BI and CRM?
2) Should we apply this note to all systems involved: sender, controller (SM7.0 in our case) and receiver?
3) We have enhp1...enhp4 in our ERP (and HCM), enhp1 on BI and perhaps enhp1 on CRM (not sure yet).
a) What is the impact of enhp on TDMS?
b) should we install TDMS before applying enhp OR the sequence does not matter?

>TDMS in standard supports Basis 7.0 systems. However it generally works fine with 7.01 too.

i have a question about an e learning course which SAP offers-
Course Name- OCPM10-
OCPM10 - OKP SAP Commercial Project Management 1.0 | SAP Training and Certification Shop
It's an e learning course for 20 hours, below are my questions-
Since its an e-learning course, is it to be completed in a specified time (within 2-3 days) or we can have access to it throughout the year but duration of course is 20 hrs
What kind of documentation is provided to me as part of this course.

1. C_TPLM22_05 - SAP Certified Solution Consultant PLM - Project Management with SAP ERP 2005
It includes SAP PLM 235 course material along with PLM 200, 210 220, 230,
2. C_TPLM22_60 - SAP Certified Application Associate - Project Management with SAP ERP 6.0
It is not including the PLM 235 course.
This is the basic difference between it. IN Certification there are 6 -7 areas , in each of them you have to score more than 70 % , there many few multiple answer questions as well. Finally over score will come it should be higher than 70 %. So, I ideally weight all the topics equally,

Make sure that your bean is implementing the serializable interface and that
you are accessing the bean from the session with the same name.

Question about reports in sap fs-cd

Dear all,
I have got a question about SAP FS-CD (collection and disbursement)
If I make changes to the master data (FPP2) is there a way to view the changes I have made in a report.
It is possible to view the changes via tables but I was wondering if there is a standard transcation code in SAP-CD to view the changes

He said - Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox.
I want to know - Will I still have my bookmarks, history, addons, plugins, etc.? I do not know what plugins and such that I had. What about my pinned tabs and my tabs that where open.
More information - When I try to start Firefox I keep getting the message that I need to restart my computer in order to complete a previous update attempt. I had Sweetpacks on my PC and I do not know where it came from, it took over my home page in Internet Explorer and Ithink caused the issue with Firefox.
Should I do the clean install or try starting Firefox now.

of course you do need to have in depth knowledge about JSE as such knowledge will be assumed (after all, you did have to pass SCJP to be able to enlist for SCWCD).
So the subjects may turn up in questions, but they won't be the things you're tested on.

Some questions about SAP esourcing

I have one question about SAP eSourcing. In RFQ document, before RFQ award is published, our customer do not want the price of RFx response disclosed to collaborators. After the award is published, the price can be released to collaborators. As I know, we can use page customization to hide page field. But the price is collection field. So I failed to use page customization to hide it.
Pls advise me how to realize it.
