Question about entry point in adobe reader

I click on a website link and the computer won't open it. The paragraph that comes up says "Entry Point not found. The procedure entry point JS_SetCheckObjectAccess callback could not be located in the dynamic link library js 3250.dll." What does this mean and how can I get rid of it so I can access the link. When I first installed Adobe Reader it worked fine, but this problem has been occurring for about 2 weeks or so. Thank you for your help!!

Question from worse than Newbie about digital signatures and Adobe Reader.

1st, thanks for taking the time to even look. 2nd, We are trying to use digital signature pads with PDF documents created by Documaker 11.4. In Adobe Pro there is a setting "Extend features in Adobe Reader" that will allow users with Adobe Reader to sign the PDF documents, however our "guy" creating the forms cannot find anything like this in Documaker. I've never used Documaker before and dont have a copy to even play with, but I was hoping there was a simple "go here, click this" answer.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not expert on Documaker, but I'm close to them and will try to find an answer if I can be sure of the question.
Documaker is capable of creating PDF signature markers in the output PDF. Those markers are compatible with tools like Acrobat which can sign the documents. Is your question about how to create the markers or are you doing that and finding that Acrobat Reader will not allow you to sign them?
I'd have to research Adobe's licensing for Acrobat and Reader to see if that was the issue. I know certain features in Acrobat Reader are locked down by Adobe so you have to have another product license from them to enable the feature. If that is the problem, then I'm pretty sure that Documaker has no mechanism to provide a license token to specifically enable the Acrobat Reader product.
If you can provide more specifics, I'll try to follow up. You may also contact Customer Support, if you haven't already and open a case there requesting a specific question be answered.

Why can I now highlight text with mouse pointer in Adobe Reader 9

I just downloaded Adobe Reader X. I think I prefer Reader 9. I don't like being able to click in the document and have a flashing place mark (right terminology?) there. This is now happening in the Reader 9 version too, and I can copy text this way, but I don't want this. I didn't change any preferences. Can anyone help?

Like I said, I didn't change any of the preferences, so I don't know why this happened. I think it only happened after I opened Adobe Reader X. I see no options in preferences for turning on or off the ability to highlight text with your mouse pointer, and I thought you were not supposed to be able to do this in Adobe Reader 9.

Insert PDFs into Power Point with Adobe Reader 10 doesn't work

When I try to insert a PDF Document into a Power Point Sheet (Microsoft Office 2003) the following an error occurred: "Die Serveranwendung , die Quelldatei oder das Element konnte nicht gefunden werden oder ein unbekannter Fehler wurde zurückgemeldet. Installieren Sie die Serveranwendung unter Umständen erneut." In English it would be somethink like: "Die Serverapplikation, the sourcefile or the element could not be found or an unknown error get recalled. According to the circumstances install the serverapplication again."
The error appears when I click in Power Point on "Insert" then on "Object" and then on "OK" if the Adobe Acrobat Document is selected. The error occurred since I use Adobe Reader X on Windows XP and on Windows 7.
Have anyone any idea, or know a solution?

Urgent question about resizing videos in Adobe Premiere

Hello, forgive me for asking such a noob question but i have a presentation due in about 10 hrs and Adobe Premiere is giving me some headaches with the video i'm trying to make!
I am trying to alter the dimensions of a movie in the 'monitor' window (the objective being to put 2 different movies side by side in the same timeline, but that's irrelevent). Screenshot is below

I've seen it being done before - their should be a border around the frame in the 'Sequence 01' tab that lets you resize it with your mouse. But It's not appearing for me... . is their some hot key or something..? It's probably something really obvious but i can't find it...

Question: Supress menu options in Adobe Reader V10

Normally in Adobe Reader V10 you see the toolbar with all the buttons/symbols, however in my case I need all of the buttons removed from it except for the print symbol.
My problem is that certain buttons cannot be removed from the toolbar, namely the read mode button and the comment button.
With the read mode button still available to the user, when he clicks it, he will see a floating menu bar at the bottom:
Is it possible to either:
Remove all of the buttons from toolbar except print
If not possible and read mode button remains, then remove all buttons from floating bar except print

You will have to test it as I think some of the functionality has been removed from Reader X / XI.

Confused about my recently updated Adobe Reader

Very confused with the 'updated' Adobe Reader pdf program I think I might have downloaded (currently unable to use it or even open it). I am a retired senior and no longer work in an office, thus I have no need for your expensive programs. I would just like the free pdf program, if that is possible. Have had a very difficult time trying to first: figure out how to use Adobe Reader since I first got in several years ago and secondly: how to make and send pdfs.
I use Adobe Reader to download pdf files that are sent to me or are relevant to my hobbies. Maybe the free version is no longer available? I would also like to have my pdf files back, if I accidently uploaded them to your website. How do I do that?

Adobe Reader is a free program, it can be used to view PDF files, fill in fillable forms, and send PDF files via email.
Adobe Reader cannot create or edit PDF files, unless in combination with a paid CreatePDF subscription.
You write that you uploaded your PDF files - to where: https://files.acrobat.com/ or https://workspaces.acrobat.com/ ? Either way, after uploading, your documents should still be on your disk. If not, you can download them again at any time.

Question about using JavaMail API to read the calendar folder...

I've made an application that goes to the mail server, fetches all mails in the calendar folder and tells you the meetings you have in a particular day.
I'm using JavaMail API for this. My problem is that the application is very slow because I'm forced to fetch (one by one!) the contents of every message.
My question is: How can Outlook show so fast the mettings you have? Do they have a specific API that allows them to get the right info by only calling certain methods? Is there something similar in Java?

Clarification:
The VI you have posted will work as following:
1) The task will read 2 analog inputs (ai0, ai3).
2) The acquisition starts, oncece digital signal (trigger) is detected on PFI0
3) The sampling rate will be as specified in "rate" control - it is continuous analog input acquisition, which means that after trigger is received (point 2), the board will start to generate hardware clock with frequency you specify as "rate"
4) with each rising edge of that hardware clock, the measurement is taken, and stored into buffer of driver.
5) DAQmx read will try to read "number of samples per channel" number of samples each time is called - and if there is not enough measurement stored in buffer (step 4), then DAQmx read will wait until DAQ card will measure reaquested number of samples (or timeout occurs before requested number of samples has been acquired)
6) DAQmx read will be then called 1000 times - so totaly you will read 1000 * "number of samples per channel" number of samples.
You do not have to be worried about speed of the loop. In fact, if you need to read just 1000 samples, with 1kS/s, then you can remove for loop and you can change measurement mode from continuous to finite samples, and specify number of samples to read to be 1000. You will read them all properly. I recomend you to read User Manual for your DAQ device - lets say M Series User Manual.

Question about Graphics Cards for Adobe and more

Hello, for technical people I'll start by listing some relevant computer info: Asus P9x79Pro Motherboard . Nvidia Quadro 4000 2GB . Windows 7 . Adobe CS6
I have a workstation PC and have been considering ways to improve it. I'm pretty happy with both Memory and Processor, so now I'm looking at the Graphics Card. I got the Quadro specifically because it was listed on Premiere's list of Mercury Accelerated Playback cards. I have no real issues with it, but I'm wondering if I'm getting everything I can out of it. I also use Resolve often and occasionally Maya, but not often. Sometimes these other programs feel sluggish. I'd like a set up that is most optimal for Adobe PPro and AE, but is also good for Resolve. I'm less worries about Maya.
My motherboard can support 4 GPU's, but I've never had more than 1 before. I'm curious how to go about it. What sort of advantages will I get with a second GPU, how will this help me? Since I have a Quadro, should I get another Quadro? Should I run them SLI or run them independently? I've also been looking at the GTX Series, would those be preferable? If so, how should I set up my system, run monitors off 1 and use the other as a GPU boost? I really don't know enough about multi-GPU set ups, and I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for, so any and all help is appreciated.

While creating my Maintenance Plan with tcode -IP42 , there's counter automatically appear in the plan.
I under this counter is from measuring point.
I am confuse with the Counter in all this tcode IP41 , IP42 & IP01.
My question are :
Is this measuring point / counter master data or technical object ?
Where's the relationship for counter in Maintenance plan ?
Any impact the counter with the cycles used in the item line?
What 's the different between IP01 vs IP41 vs IP42?

Understand that In Performance-based Maintenance Plan, SAP automatically links Counter to the Maintenance Plan.
After my personal investigation , fully understand that only performance based maintenance plan are using counter. Normal Maintenance Order will not use counter as Master data.
Example Performance Based Plans :
When the measuring point counter reaches 3000 -1st order should get generated
2nd one at 6000, 3 rd one at 9000 etc...
Or
1. Single Cycle with counter -- Ex . Maintenance every 3000 hrs
2. Strategy Cycle plans.. -- Ex. Maintenance every 3000 hrs and every 6000hrs
3. Multiple Counter Plans..-- Ex Maintenance every 2month or 1year..
Process Flow.
Create equipment with suitable measuring point (inc annual estimate) with Tcode IK01 create measuring point
Create initial counter reading measurement document
Create task list (optional for single-cycle plan)
Create counter based maintenance plan
Scheduling maintenance plan (IP10/IP30)
Create measurement documents periodically
Little Question to ask.
1) Is this the SAP standard flow ?

Yes- I've had some lower price pc's using an Adobe AIR app and can tell the difference.
Computers where performance was a huge issue was Compaq CQ56 & Toshiba Satellite C655D
These computers are under 2.0 GHz and the app seems to freeze up on occassion or run slower.

Question about entries in 3KEH table

Hello gurus,
I would like to ask you 1 thing, there are more than 4000 entries in table 3KEH but nowm the customer asked me to enter only range fromm 1000000000 to 2999999999. Which means I need to delete all the entries and then place this range, But it happens to me that some of the accounts I can not delete as they are entered in derivation, in 3kei transaction.
I can skip those and to the ranges just between, right? lets say the account 1000000030 is entered in 3kei table so in 3hek I will enter 1000000000 to 1000000029 and will continue like this...
this is time consuming, well...can do that but my question ia if this is a correct procedure, if I can do that and if there will not be any impact.

as long as no accounts are missed out or all the field attributes are kept intact, i dont see any impact, it should work as before

Question about a /proc/pid/ctl read

I'm trying to read some bytes from /proc/pid/ctl using PCREAD command, I attached a priovec_t struct like this:

Questions about a laptop and adobe.

I just purchased a dell xps m1330 from dell, even though i know that isnt a brand new model, but that also gave me a chance to add the features I wanted and still stay undermy budget.
intell core 2 duo 8300 2.4 ghz
led screen
4 gig ram
250 gig hard drive 7200
9cell battery (not that matters)
This wont be my main editing and design computer since I have a beefy desktop for that. But there will be some light editing and photoshop use done from to time, so I was wondering what you guys think, if you recommend another laptop for around the same budget since Im still in the window to return/exchange it(that came out to almost exactly 1000 with my discount) also it will be running vista, so if you guys have any recommendations to help adobe suite run better or well on vista, and just to let you guys know I did NOT get the graphic card with it since I read online that I wont really need it for my needs.
