Question about image size of multimedia messaging!

Is there any way to send the images of original size . I mean when your select large size in settings still the picture is resized 240*180 . isn't there anyway to send images of size 640*480 ?? by mms
i want to send images of their original size ...
Please kidnly help me !!!!

It depends on two things: The phone model and whether the operator's MMSC allows it (or has a size limit).
On S60 based devices like then N73 or others, you can open the "Messaging" app, hit "Options", select "Settings", then "Multimedia message" and change "Image size" to "Original".
This won't help if the operator's servers then reformats the image, or refuses to send it alltoghether because it is too big.
And, of course, even if you get past both your own phone's limitations and the operator's networks, the recipient's device must also be able to handle it.
If you want guaranteed delivery of original, unmodified images, use email instead of MMS.

  • Question about image size, canvas size and Picture frame

    Hi,
This has always been a little confusing so let me describe what my question is:
    Assume I have a created a new PSD that is 8 1/2 x 11.
The canvas size is the same 8 1/2 x 11.
I want to put a border around the picture (say 1/2 of an inch all around), and put the finished picture in a Picture frame.  After it is in the frame, you would be able to see the entire picture plus the border.
    Q.  Should I change (reduce image size) of the PSD to (for this example), 8 x 10 1/2.      Then increase the canvas size to 8 1/2 x 11.  After I increased the canvas size, do a  Paint Bucket fill with white (to create the White border)?  then print the changed size PSD on 8 1/2 x 11 paper so that it will fit into a 8 1/2 x 11 picture frame
I realize I could have just created the new PSD to be 8 x 10 1/2 in the first place.
Hope I made this somewhat clear.
    Bob

1: Decrease the size as you describe.
    2. Go to File>New or Ctrl N
    3. Make the box 8.5x11. Make sure the other data conforms to your image.
    4. Now,holding down Ctrl-Shift, Drag the image to the new box and release the mouse. Your image will be centered in the box.
Note: there may be a method to do this including any adjustment layers, but I usually only do this as a last step, flattening a copy of the working file.

  • Questions about image size and password

Is there some way to click on an image in iWeb and determine what its file size is?
When the Inspector shows Photo Download Size, does that pertain to all photos on one particular page?
Is there any way to password protect certain pages of a site, or create a subsite that is protected?

For why your files went to 30GB, see this post.

  • Question about image sizes and calendars

I'm making a cookbook calendar and am laying out pages with pics and recipes in inDesign and then exporting them as jpegs into iPhoto to place on the calendar. The calendar is supposed to be 13X10 inches (WXH) but when I size my images to this size in inDesign they are way too big on the calendar. They only fit when I size them to 10X8... is there a reason for this that I can't figure out??? Are they going to print small or will iPhoto automatically resize the images to match the calendar?
    Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Are you referring to the single, large photo for each month? If only takes up 1/2 the full page of the calendar. The calendar is 13" high x 10" wide. So for a full page photo at the start of each month you would want a 10' x 6.5' image. That's why the 8 x 10 is working better but probably is displaying some cropping if I remember correctly.

  • Question about image size from app developer

    Hi
I am developing an android app that prints through eprint, so this is directed to HP Staff
What is the correct size of a jpg image to take up the whole page?
In this app, i am unable to use PDF's, so i want to try using a full page jpg and insert the data onto that, then send the whole page to an eprint email address.
I tried a standard 612 X 792 pixel page (72 dpi), but it only takes up alittle more than a quarter page.
i need it to be the right size for any of the eprint printers.
    thanks

  • 3 questions about texture sizes

    Hi there all,
I have 3 questions about texture sizes. First off, after
doing a search in this forum, I found out how to find the maxium
texture size my hardware can handle. However, this is only
currently tells me what the texture size I should use for my
computer. So basically, what my first question is, I wanted to know
what would be the average texture size for PC's. Why I ask this is
because arfter doing the command that finds my maxium texture size
that my computer can handle, it says that I can handle up to
2048x2048, but this doesn't help if lets say the standard hardware
    texture size is 1024x1024.
My second question is, when you speak in maxium hardware
texture size terms, is this for per object, per scene that is
loaded into memory, or for the entire game?
... and my last question is, does hardware texture size also
include basic shaders as well (meaning with no textures)? If not is
there a limit on that as well?

    1. If you know what maximum texturesize the endusers
graficcard can handle, you can build a switch to different *.w3d
files with that are saved with different texturesizes. you can see
    how the hardware variates:
    http://nuttybar.drama.uga.edu/pipermail/dir3d-l/2005-September/009554.html
but don't forget that the macs are limited at the moment to a
maximum texturesize of 512x512. If the textures are bigger then the
maximum texturesize they are scaled down to it. In your example a
texture that is 2048x2048 would be scaled down to 1048x1048 if this
is the maximum texturesize of the endusers machine.
    2. The maximum texturesize is per Texture. But the Textures
are stored uncompressed in the VRAM of the graficcard. There is no
way to check how much RAM is left and i am not sure what happens if
you put a lot of data in it.
    3. A shader only layers textures like photoshop and renderes
them depending on the settings of the shader. The maximum hardware
texture size only limits the size of the texture, if you use no
textures in the shader (setting all texturelayers to void) the
model will be only rendered depending on the values that are given
    by "ambient", "emissive", "diffuse", "specular"
Just want to add here that textures should be in this sizes:
    1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256,
    512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, 4096x4096 ...
but can be also be combined like this:
32x1024 or 512x256 and so on. this is just good to know.
If textures do not fit into this grid of pixel values, the
texture will be scaled up or down to the next size that is closest
    to it.
if you type this code into the message window and execute
every line, you can check the resulting texturesize.
    global pImage
    pImage=image(100, 1000, 24)
    member("world").newtexture("image", #fromimageobject, pImage)
    put member("world").texture("image").width
    -- 128
    put member("world").texture("image").height
    -- 1024
This will happen to all textures if they enter the
    graficcard.

  • Question about images....Image Size ... Augh!!!

I am curious about importing images into FCP. I understand that pixels in an image are square and that in video they are rectangular. When I import an image into FCP it looks great, until I export and then they take on a "fatter" look. I know that when you import an image as a Multi-layered Photoshop document that FCP will automatically adjust for it. But if you import a .TIFF, .PNG, or .JPEG that you will need to compensate for it's image size prior to importing.. (which is quite confusing)... I come across images of all ppi, resolution, and size.
Two things I have discovered.... If I import it as a Multilayered Photoshop file and then export it, I seem to lose quality. But if I import it without compensating for image size(it looks better within FCP) and then export it using Compressor with a DV NTSC 4:3 setting, it looks fairly dead on and the image maintains it's high quality.... but I know this is not the way to do it.
    So here is my questions...
    1) What am I doing wrong? Is there a simple formula to get it correct everytime?
    2) Is there anyway that FCP can compensate for pixel changes on a single layer image or do I need to convert each image to a Photoshop Multilayer Document? Why am I losing quality?
    3) Is there anyway to import single layer images and have Compressor export it how I see it on my computer monitor?
    Thanks for any help....!

  • No Image Size menu or Message Size report in New Message window

    Greetings all,
New iMac user (OS X 10.5.8, Mail 3.6). In scanning Mac Help & the Apple Support forums, I note numerous references for Mail 3.6 to an Image Size Menu button at bottom right of Compose window, and a Message Size window at the bottom left. Have never seen these items. Are they hidden? If so, what is the reveal? Appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
    Gallery Info

    To All,
After sending in my question, I went back to Mail Help & noticed that images could be attached by dragging from Photo Browser or Desktop or Finder, or by clicking on the 'Paperclip' icon. We had only ever used the 'Paperclip'. Dragged an image from the Photo Browser and both Message Size report & Image Size menu button appeared. Then went back and tried Desktop, Finder & 'Paperclip'. Now, the two items appear, whichever method is used. Doesn't work on all .jpg images, but is sufficient for the need.
Guaranteed that if original question wasn't submitted, never would have found out how it works. Many thanks to Apple Discussions.

  • Question about the size af:inputText

can <af:inputText> grow itself automatically to avoid scrollbar?
if user types a long text into it, the inputtext area will become bigger to fit it to avoid scrollbar. is this possible?
another question is,i found the size of this input area are controlled by 'rows' and 'columns'.
can i make the inputtext area stretch to 100% width of the page?
i cannot use 'columns' to accomplish this, since the page resolution is different for users. it works on 1440x900,but fails on others.
    thanks a lot

When you speak about project size, do you mean the size of the project file itself? Or of the entire project folder?
When you delete tracks or plugins from your project, you won't see anything in the trash, that is normal. Only when you delete an audio file from your disk +from within Logic+ you'll find that audio file in the trash.

  • Question about "Print Size"

I am confused and puzzled about "Print Size." First I select the Zoom Tool, then I click "Print Size" in the upper bar. I also have chosen View > Rulers.
What I don't understand is that one inch in the horizontal ruler actually is considerably longer than one inch on the vertical ruler.  I think this is distorting the appearance on my photos in the monitor as compared with the actual prints. The monitor version of my portrait, for example, looks fatter than the printed version. Why is this and why isn't a horizontal inch equal to a verical inch for viewing purposes.
Thank you very much for any help on this.
    Bob

Thank you very much. I changed my monitor to its native resolution and I think this solved the problem.  Bob

Hello!Ι have a question about Adobe Edge.is it possible to create a photo slide show like mac's file preview? i mean smthg like this  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q727LqDIZKM

    Hi, TasisGrafix2-
Edge Animate doesn't support css3d natively, but you can use a third party library such as edgehero.js to make this work.

  • 2 questions - change image size within print cell, and saving print template w/ specific images

    Hi,
Searched the forums for the answer to these but couldn't find much.
    1. Is there a way to change the image size within a cell (under print module). For example, zoom in 140% on a a specific image but still have it within the original cell size?
    2. Say I create and fill in an elaborate print template with my images - is there a way to save the FILLED IN version of the template to edit at a later time? For example if I wanted to load it back up w/ all the original images layed out in the print template, but maybe change a few and resave as jpeg?
    Thank you!

    Hi
I'm not sure but maybe you can use a rectangle to hold the .ai image, resize the rectangle and fit proportionally the image inside it
    hope this help

  • Webengine question about image renditions

I know that I can define any number of image  sizes in a webengine. What I want to know is, is there a way to define a  size and only have one of the images (or just a certain nunmber but not all of the images) in a gallery collection rendered  in that size? Right now I have a gallery that has a main page  with a single image that links to a set of grid pages that link to the  individual image pages. I can create the main page with the image that I  want but when I define the size for that image and the directory to  store it, LR renders all of the images in the gallery collection that  size in that directory. So I end up with a number of superfluous images.  How do I prevent that from happening? How do I cause only the images I  use to be rendered in a particular size?

  • Yet another question about image resolution

Well, I tried to look this one up but I could not find what I was looking for.
I am trying to make an image that will fill a screen completely. I thought that the correct size would be 740x480. What happens though is that the vertical size is too small. In other words, the top or bottom has blank space and so it is not filling the screen. Am I using the wrong image size? Doesn't my tv display in 740x480? Where have I gone wrong?
    Thanks for your help!
    -not_store-bot

720x480 is the NTSC non-square pixel DV video image size.
For NTSC still digital images you need use a 4:3 aspect ratio like 640x480 (or 720x540)
