I have some footage where it is supposed to look like a continuous shot, so with the camera we stopped recording, but kept it in the same spot and the character in the same spot, while something was changed, but the camera does move slightly. Is there a way I could make it appear that the camera does a continuous shot? Or is the shot just going to look like it was cut?

What you can try:
• I would slightly zoom-in in both clips, 3-5%
• just for adjustement, put clip#2 'over' clip#1,
• set its transparency to 50-80%
• now, by using the Info Boards numeric fields, adjust Transformation/position x, y
• when the two clips match, drag it to the end of clip#1
plus you can try how it looks, when applying a 3-frame dissolve …

Contact Apple support at 800MYAPPLE and ask them to assist you with resetting your security quesitons.
They will ask you to verify your identity. Not usually a big issue. Call them ask for assistance.
They can walk you through getting the security question issues resolved.

Thinking of making the PC to Mac Move, questions about Photos App

Helped my mother on her Mac a little bit and got the Photos App working for her. Now my turn, I have been a die hard Windows user, but I will never use a Windows phone. (Can never give up my iPhone) I have been taking on a huge family project of scanning old photos and dating them. Along with digital photos from early 2000’s. I have probably about 10,000 photos. (And 20,000 more to scan) In Windows I use photo gallery 2012 to organize and date etc. my photos. The thing I like about photo gallery is that when I make a change to a photo it edits the original. The dates and GPS I add to the photo are forever saved to the file in the metadata.
I am very tempted to move to a Mac. (I have an iPhone & Apple TV, I would like to sync across all my devices) I never like iPhoto, the idea of a “non destructive” editing means I have to import and export photos. I think the new Photos app might work for me.
A few questions:
If I move all my directories/folders of my photos to a Mac, will I be able to use the Mac Photo App to edit the photos and the changes I make be saved directly to the photo file in the respective folder? (Or are the photos then saved in a new location after being edited in the Mac Photo App?)
If I turn on the iCloud Photo Library (on the Mac & iPhone) I understand all my photos will be uploaded to the cloud and any changes made on either device will be seen on the other. My question, if I make changes to a photo that is in the iCloud will that change be made to the original photo file that is stored on the Mac? (Basically I want to have at all times a hard drive copy for my personal backup)
With the iCloud Photo Library feature I understand that any new photo I take with my iPhone is uploaded to the iCloud. Are the photos taken on the iPhone physically downloaded to the Mac? I know I can view them on the Mac Photo app, but I want to know if they are downloaded to the Mac and if so where does it save the new photos?

I do not use ICloud so someone else will need to answer those questions. For question one though... Photos, like Aperture and Iphoto before it, puts your photos in its own filing system. You would need to export the photos to get them back out of Photos. You can export them to anywhere in your mac file system.

jar cvfm jarname.jar directory\manifest.txt directory\FileSearch.class directory\FileNode.classIt says it creates the .jar but is unable to run it.

That simply means your not pointing the runtime to the classes. Set your CLASSPATH environment variable correctly and it will run (given you have a JRE which it appears you do).

About the last example which is getting loan serveces endpoint info from db.
There is no receive activity in the example code. I wanna add it and make it run. Does the receive activity from the LoanService should be in or out of the while loop. If it should be out of the while, it seems as if it needs another while loop to contain the receive activity to get returning results according to the number of loan provider it has sent applications to. In this situation, how should I manipulate the returning variables? And if all of this had been done, how could I select the best offer of such a lot of returning offers?
I need your help. Thanks a million. This is very import to me.

Sorry I didn't see your question sooner. Answers to your questions:
Yes "i" is a variable (a counter for the loop). If you look a little further up in the example it shows where we're initializing that variable.
Yes the receive needs its own while loop as stated in the article -- but this is only if you're running the child services in parallel. Better yet, with 10.1.3 we have scoped partnerlinks per bpel 2.0 so you can use flowN to call a bunch of dynamic services in parallel, each with its own receive.
As for handling the results you may want to create a nodeset to store them then use xpath to select the best offer. This would be after the receive while loop (10.1.2.x) or the flowN (10.1.3) receives all the results back. Another thing that's nice in the 10.1.3 version is that you can put timers around the receive so you ignore results that don't respond in a reasonable amount of time. In 10.1.2 you can do this too by putting a timer around the while loop but it's not quite as clean as the 10.1.3 way.

Newbie question about UIBarButtonItem appearance

I decided to replace my separate buttons (UIButton) by a UIToolBar with UIBarButtonItems on it. Functionally it is working fine, but I was wondering what appearance options are available to me.
For example, with UIButton I could set the hidden property to YES or NO.
Is there something analogous I could set for a UIBarButtonItem to make one tool appear "currently selected" for example?
I looked over the Class docs at:

but I'm afraid I could not tell from that if there was something useful there to use.

Why not use a segmented control with the toolbar images? See the UICatalog example under the Segment section.
You might also be able to recreate the tool bar each time with an updated graphic that makes it look selected.

Question about making printible reports by reading data from database

We have a pressure test system which we want analyze and plot the instant pressure values in a pre-defined time interval. After each test we want the record the test results along with the other information(date, time, operator name, test no, product type, product number, etc.) added by the system operator. The data will be recorded to an access data base. Doing that, we want to make test results archive which we can make search within, to list the past test results, searching by date, seraching by product number, or searching by any other information in the database. Plus, in the future, we want to be able to take reports of these past test results, including the pressure/time graph and other information added by the system operator. Also we want to set the report format.
My question is, is it possible to do this with LABVIEW 8.2? Do we need any toolkits or add-ons?

That would be an excellent use of LabVIEW. At the very least, you'll probably want to get the Database Connectivity Toolkit, and depending on your needs you may also want the Report Generation Toolkit. There are a lot of tools in the LabVIEW Development Environment for generating reports dynamically, but the Report Generation Toolkit includes a lot of advanced functionality not included in regular LabVIEW installations.
That said, however, I really recommend you speak with one of our sales representatives to make sure you have everything you need. Since I know so little about how you'd be implementing each step of that process, I'm reluctant to guarantee it, and one of our representatives can tell you with much more certainty. Questions about making playlists

I have 2000 songs in my library. some are christmas, some are show tunes, some are classical and most are pop/rock/etc.
about 1500 are in this last catagory and i want to make a play list w/them on it--because i do not want my random play to hit upon a 14 minute classical piece or a christmas tune when i am mellowing in pop etc.
many came from napster so are not attached to albums etc.
my question is--is the only way i can create the list for these 1500 songs by literally clicking on each on and either dragging them into a playlist, or by highlighting them individually and then doing the create playlist function.
since i want to create separate playlists for the holiday and classical anyway, is there some way to make those playlists and put them in a separate LIBRARY as well--in other words remove them from the current library and then automatically make a play list w/the remaining songs w/o having to highlight individual songs.
does this make any sense.

thanks. sounds like click and drag or highlight and do a new playlist are my only options for this volume of songs but that is fine.
also thanks for the answer to the library question. when I thought about it, decided that was too much work--probably just need to resolve to work thru the 2000 songs to organize, theen all will be right w/my (iPod) world.

Question about appearance of conversations

We recently upgraded to Lync 2013 and now our conversations all appear to the right of the screen instead of how they used to appear. I am trying to find a setting I can change to go back to the way they used to be, where they took up the entire
width of the screen, instead of the person's name appearing to the left and the conversation to the right...

From what I understand of your question, this is most likely the Office 2013 SP1 update that has caused this (it changes the text wrapping in the conversation window), I am not aware of any way of setting it back to the way it was (short of removing SP1)

Question about Illustrator CS5 making eps files in Mac OS 10.9.5

Hello, I am using Illustrator CS5 on a Mac. I just updates to Mac OS 10.9.5
Now when I save an simple Illustrator vector file as an eps, and place it in another program (such as Quark), I get code instead of the preview image. I tried older vector eps files, and they still work. i tried older Quark files, and they still work. I ruled out font problems. I tried importing new Illustrator ai file, same result. Any thoughts?

Ask in the AI forum and include proper details about your export settings and your artwork. EPS parsing errors usually mean you chose an unsuitable combination of settings and/or the embedded previews are botched.

I have a Photosmart C7280 and have question s about making a network decision.

I currently have two desktops connected to a wireless router via ethernet cables. They are connected to a single (non-HP) printer with USB cables through a USB switch. Two laptops connect to the router wirelessly. I could replicate the existing configuration with the C7280, but the idea of a network in which the laptops could participate is very appealing. One of the laptops is running Windows version 7, the other computers are running Linux. If I go for an ethernet network, will the laptops be able to connect to the printer through the router? If I go for a wireless network, will the desktops be able to connect to the printer through their ethernet cables? A couple of USB wirelss adapters are a possibility.

I understand that you have some questions regarding networking with your printer.
Yes, wired network connections will have no problem connecting to a wifi connected printer. Most routers bridge wired and wireless networks to work as a single network. There are a few routers that separate wired and wireless networks, but these are primarily enterprise grade routers and networking equipment.
A wired desktop will be able to print to a wireless printer as long as it is connected through the same router. Vice versa, a wireless computer can print to an Ethernet connected printer as long as it is the same router.
I recommend using a network setup for the printer, if possible, to avoid printing issues. USB hubs have been known to cause some printing problems, though this is not always the case.

Question about making a project backup with Media Manager

I have several projects that I am working on right now. I'd like to make a backup of these projects and burn them to DVDs. The question I have is when I select "copy" with Media Manager it shows me how much space the backup will be. Without selecting the render files each of my projects would fit a a single DVD. If I don't include render files can they easily be recreated by just re-rendering the backup project?

Backing up a project file takes very little space. Backing up the media associated with that project can take up a tremendous amount of space. By using Media Manager, I assume that you want to back up (copy) the media ... correct?
Do you only have 4.3gb of media used in the project you want to back up? That's all the data a DVD disc will hold.
