Question about N95 Camera

Hi,
Can anybody help me on this, please :
When I turn on camera and take photo, autofocus start with white light (flash light) and when I Start recording in video mode flash light go in red color. Is it true?
My digital camera (sony) autofocus has red color and flash has white color, so why N95 autofocus is in white color? and what is the red color in video recording?

    Hi,
I need to ask about the updating of the new firmware for n95...
while i am updating if :
    *the PC shutdown
*someone call me and the mobile ring at the updating process
    *the electricity went off
*the internet connection have a problem

Can i just restart the process from the begining or what?
&Does the Backup process that i had done it at the PC is useful to get back the old Firmware or its just for the files i installed on the phone??
    thx gus.............

while i am updating if : ... see here
    http://europe.nokia.com/A4577229
    *the PC shutdown
    - you should get "Software update failed".
*someone call me and the mobile ring at the updating process
    - calls can be made and received while the software is being downloaded. The call will be terminated automatically when the update phase begins.
*the electricity went off/*the internet connection have a problem/*the battery become empty at the updating process
    - Power or internet connection was lost during the update. The update may have been successful. Remove the battery and if the software was not updated, try again.
*Does the Backup process that i had done it at the PC is useful to get back the old Firmware or its just for the files i installed on the phone??
    - Nokia device firmware cannot be downgraded. Once you have upgraded your device, you will not be able to restore it to the earlier version.

  • Questions about X6 camera and LEDs

    Two questions:
    - Is it safe to use the camera LEDs like flashlight continuously (over 30secs)? I use Brightlight - app from Ovi-store.
    - What material is protective lens of main camera? Glass or plastic?

    krtlv wrote:
I Have not yet used LEDs more than five seconds longer because I'm afraid that the LEDs overheating or somekind like that. 30secs is just example.
Why not there are any notifications or warnings If led it is not safety use longer periods? Whose responsibility is if the phone breaks down, Brightlight developer, Nokia or user?
I wouldn't worry. LEDs don't really heat up.
You'll probably notice a few proper torches now come with LEDs rather than normal bulbs.
Also quite a few phones come with the Ability to use the LED Flash as a torch (My HTC does)
You should be able to use the LED Flashlight app without any issues

  • Question about Integrated Camera

I ordered a T61 14.1 inch widecreen last week, and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival.
Quick question for anyone with the above computer with the integrated webcam... is it good quality? Does it compare to a Mac integrated camera on an Apple?
    Thanks in advance...
    Scott

My personal view is that Macbook and Macbook pro have a better image quality compared to the Thinkpad's camera, probably the CMOS elements are more expensive in the Mac..... and there are more adjustability in the Mac version too..

check this link out, it actually states that your phone has a fixed focus cam which would make sense as this is not a photocentric option to have

  • Newbie photographer, question about in-camera settings and RAW

I have a Nikon D200, and I can make a wealth of in-camera settings that would greatly mitigate the amount of post-production processing that I would have to do. Nikon's own RAW Capture NX software reads these settings. I'm assuming that Aperture doesn't read (most) of them (with, perhaps, the exception of White Balance, and maybe Hue). Is there a reference somewhere of what in-camera settings are preserved by Aperture on a RAW import?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark Taber

It's a pretty safe assumption that no raw editor except the OEM version will remember the in-camera settings, aside from white balance.
Why's that? Because those settings don't really do anything anyway - they are just advance instructions for the converter.

  • Question about future Camera Matching Profiles

Hi all, I am a Nikon D300, Windows Vista user.
Recently I've been comparing Camera Matching Profiles on ACR and Nikon's own proprietary Profiles on Nikon Capture NX with the same NEF files. What I've found is that Camera Matching Profiles don't match when Saturation is adjusted. If I increase saturation in Capture NX's Picture Control panel, not only saturation is increased but also local hue is shifted. For example, a yellow flower looks slightly reddish when saturation is increased. On the other hand, ACR increases only saturation. I'm not sure I said this appropriately, but you'll know what I'm saying if you compare them side by side. Set the Picture Control sliders all to zero, they match. But once Saturation is adjusted, don't.
In addition, moving recovery slider, and HSL sliders shifts color in the way that I couldn't expect.
I'm just curious how the future Camera Matching Profiles will deal with them.

Thanks Eric. Even though those Camera Matching Profiles match only at default settings, they're really useful to me. I found that beta2 fixed highlight transition problem. I wish I could get that fat lazy Capture NX out of my computer soon.

  • Question about the camera roll in photos

Every once in awhile, the camera roll slides up under the ALBUMS heading and I can't click on it to open my photos. A couple of my friends have the same issue. It's happened to me 3 times now. It seems to be after I do an update.
    I'm on a 3GS.
Anyone know what I can do to fix this so I can scroll through those shots?
    Thanks in advance,
    K

I have just captured video from my built in isight. apple saya it is not supported, but i have found a way to fool it.
    step 1 turn on imoviehd
step 2. turn on (external)video camera (one you have hooked up to the computer) i movie will recognize this
step 3 once camera is recognized, turn the camera off, (from your camera not the computer.)
imovie will switch over to using the isight camera. then you can record.

  • Question about a camera/web-cam

    Hi,
Does best buy sell any camera/web-cam/security camera that can record to your computer or phone so you can watch it in the morning?
I want to see what my cats are up to during the night when I wake up, if they are being naughty or nice.
    Preferably something not that expensive.
A motion sensored one would be good also if they sell any of those.
    Ty.

    Hmm....
check out this video where VLC uses your webcam to record

Yes, Best Buy has security cameras.  Do your research to see if they meet your needs

check Google Play or iTunes store for possible phone apps.
Will the room be well lit, or totally dark?  Many cameras don't work well in the dark.  The better ones have an IR or illumination light.  In extreme low light, this is my fav camera that records with minimal light assistance.  The video is stored on an SD card that you can load onto your computer.

GoPro's also have an ability to store video for around an hour.

  • Question about Nokia Camera

If I reinstall the Nokia Camera app, will I still be able to reframe my pictures?

    Changing product code voids warranty.
Don't think that you are the only one with this problem.
I also own a 6151, but with a different product code respect your, but I can't upgrade too :-(
My cell is a generic no brand Italy one.
I don't know exactly why Nokia would update only a few product codes of this beautiful phone via NSU.
Please let us update our phones!!!
If you go to a service center there could be an update also for your branded phone.
If I think that I've bought it only because was compatible with NSU...Message Edited by bugfix on 20-Mar-2007

hi every one I want to buy Nokia N95 8G but I heard that when I put many movies and songs in it..it become slow amd hang alot..plz can any one tell me if this problem is true or not??thanks alot.

The only reason it may get slow is if you start running out of memory.
As long as you manage your memory and keep some free space you should be fine.
640K Should be enough for everybody

  • Questions about video studio

Hi.  Not an Abobe question per se, but I'm going to be setting up a video studio / green screen room  and thought some Abode users might be able to point me to an appropriate place to ask some questions about how this should be built.  (Planning a 16' x 16', room, but could be up to 16' x 20' if necessary, standard 8' ceilings (no way around that).
Would like to film a weekly show in the studio with anywhere from 1-3 people sitting at a greenscreen desk; would also use the room to record singing and piano.
Will be processing with Adobe master Suite CS6 (and Sonar X2 for music in conjunction with Audition).
I've done some greenscreen work with a consumer grade digital camcorder and hardboard painted green, Keying with After Effects and using Premiere as nonlinear editor.  But I'd like to set up something more professional now, while trying to keep the budget under control.  Perfectly fine with DIY softboxes and screens as long as they work well.
Have questions about lighting, cameras, preferred room dimensions, and any othter factors I should consider when having this built (and needs to accomodate the recording of piano and vocals as well).
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Thanks Steven.
I've been worried about the 16' being a little too tight - so will go with the 20' (even bigger might be better, but that's the most I can really do).
    A few other questions:
    1) I thought I was going to be limited to 8' ceilings, but depending how things lay, it might not be a big deal to put in 9' ceilings.  Would that help significantly with the lighting or is it not a big deal.
    2) Should I have electrician install lighting on the ceiling to illuminate the greenscreen (back wall) from above or to shine down on the talent from above and behind for backlighting - or should I just do all the lighting with standing softbox lamps?
    3) I've read that sound in a rectangular studio can be a big problem.  One recommendation was to hang black curtains on tracks that could cover all areas not in the shot - this would reduce bouncing of light and spill over from greenscreen, while also minimizing standing waves / echo.  Any advice on this or other economical things to consider as room is being built?
    4) I have a HV20 Canon consumer grade HDV camcorder - it has an HDMI port.  Anyone have experience with Blackmagic Intensity Pro - which should let you capture uncompressed raw video from the camera?
    5) Any one have advice on the Sony HVR-V1U MiniDV Camcorder  - can get used for under $1000 - would this be a giant step up and make green screening / keying much easier (using Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS6) - or not worth the money?
    6) Any advice on what to do for microphpones during a show where 2-3 people are seated at a rectangular table facing one camera and talking?  Will also record some electric piano and vocals.
Thanks for any suggestions (including advice about any other forums where I should post my questions)

  • FCP X, a question about camera settings

I live in the middle of the Pacific and need some advice as there is no one here to help me answer these kinds of questions...
My first 3 big projects were done in SD using a SONY PD 170 and FCE4.
I just bought the Panasonic HPX 170 with a 64 GB P2 card.  I use a new iMac i7 (OSX 10.7.2) with all the bells and whistles and have now gone to the new FCP X for software.  I know the following is more of a camera question more than a software question, but I thought someone in this forum might be able to help me.
We are about to shoot another full length feature film (roughly 90 minutes).  I have read through the manual and a book about the camera but I'm just not getting enough information to make the ultimate decision as to what camera settings I should use to shoot the film.
In the end I expect the film to show at a theater here on the islands for a few weeks, and then a few film festivals and then ultimately, hopefully, sell DVDs to people who do not have sophisticated plasma TV/DVD setups, so I have to consider this also when shooting the film.
So.... I would really, really, really appreciate some opinions as to how I should go about this, i.e., 24p?  30p? 720? 1080i?    If it were you, what settings on the camera would you use to shoot this film???
    Thanks so much in advance.

    1080i/60 is your best choice.
(This is assuming there's not a great deal of fast action, or slow motion in the movie. If there is, you may want to consider 720p 60).
You really need to research frame rates and the difference between interlaced and progressive footage before you commit yourself. To be honest, the difference between 720 and 1080 is so tiny, I doubt many people could tell it apart if they didn't already know which was which.
