Basic questions about Notes domino connector

Hi,
I have a very basic question about the Lotus Domino connector for OIM. We have a requirement to provision accounts into the domino mail server and while doing that also update some information directly into a separate nsf file.
I checked the documentation and it seems while configuring an IT resource, we need to give the Mail DB path, and thats the only place where it refers to it.
Could you guys please let me know if this can be done? Can I write directly to a different nsf file, which is not like provisioning to the complete mail server. So the other attributes in the IT resource may not be able to be set up as its just the file I need to provision into.

CP7 quizzes with multiple question banks not working

Hello there
I have worked 2 weeks on creating a quiz to be published in HTML5 and now that I am finally ready to publish it appears that CP7 has a problem when publishing a quiz with all random questions taken from more than 4 question pools.
Up to 3 question pools HTML5 works like a charm but add a 4th one and it all goes to hell.
I have 60 questions taken from 11 question pools and many questions appear blank (just the background appears and the slide keeps going for its 3 seconds untill it automatically jumps to the next question not giving the possibility to answer and therefore scoring it negatively. (the answer all questions is active).
Now if I publish the same project as SWF the quiz has no problems and works just fine but I would really like to be able to have people take the quiz on their iPad and also I was actually going to convert it into an iPad app but that now appears impossible to do.
Is there a solution to the problem? Is CP7 limited to 3 Question Pools when publishing as HTML5?

During HTML5 publish, are you getting a warning with the text ' There are more random question slides than questions available in the pool...’. If yes, then can you please take the corrective action and see it resolves the issue or not?

Sunfire V20z...general questions about VRM's, CPU's, and memory speed

I've got a Sun V20z that i'd like to get going, but have a few questions. I've only got 1 memory VRM for the server, and 2 CPU VRM's. Can I run a single CPU until I find another VRM for the board? I was looking at going with an Opteron 248. Also, I've got about sixteen 1GB PC2100 sticks of ECC registered ram i'd like to use, but the docs say it only handles PC2700. Does that mean it can't handle anything FASTER, or simply that NOTHING other than PC2700 will work? I was planning on sticking my Opteron in the CPU 0 slot, along with 4 sticks of that ram. Thanks for the help, you guys helped me with my Enterprise 3500 server last fall and it's humming along great!

Each cpu will need its own VRM.
That is a necessary component, to regulate the voltage
flowing through the cpu itself.
Go ahead and run it on a single cpu for now.
Install the second one when you have all the needed parts.
I would expect your RAM to just fail to function.
PC2100 memory doesn't clock fast enough for the system's memory bus.
The V20z System Specifications page in the SSH notes
that the computer is designed to use faster modules.
I would expect you to observe errors immediately at bootup.
If a system was designed to use PC2100 RAM and you install
PC2700 mudules to the slots, they would work very well.
Think of that as underclocking the RAM.
However your circumstances are the reverse -- the computer's data bus
would push your RAM beyond its design specifications.
Perhaps others can also contribute their experiences with this.
I've not had the opportunity to run a V20z, personally.

EA4500 2 questions-- linksyssmartwifi not working fine and kick off users

I have my new EA4500 router and following 2 questions confused me.
1. I have registered my router with linksyssmartwifi.com and after router reboot or reconnect to internet, I can access to my router using my IOS devices or android devices. But after half an hour or even 15 minutes, the router will not be accessed anymore. There's an error message saying my router is not connect to internet, but at the same time devices in local LAN can access to Internet and also I can access my NAS through EA4500 from internet. I have reset the devices several times but this issue still there. Any suggestions?
2. Is it possible to kick off the WIFI devices using local admin web access or linksys smart wifi tool? Or need any other software to make it possible?

When you received that error message on your phone, are you still getting internet access connected to your router's wifi network? If so, then I think the router is fine because it is transmitting internet connection to your phone and other devices. You don't have to reset the device. I think it's the app that's having the problem. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app or close/reopen the app.
Another way to isolate the problem is to access linksys smart wifi on a wired or wireless computer. Check if it's receiving the same error message as your phone after several minutes. If linksys smart wifi on the computer is not giving you that error message, then definitely, it's an app issue.
Regarding your second question, you can choose any of the options below to prevent internet access from a specific device:
1. Block internet access on particular device using parental control. This will block internet access but the device is still connected to the network so it still has access to shared files or NAS.
2. Change your router wireless password. This will disconnect devices that you don't want to have access to the network, unless the user finds a way to know your new password.
3. Enable mac filtering on your router. Mac filtering is in the wireless tab of linksys smart wifi. Select “Deny” access for the listed mac address , add the mac address of the device you don't want to give wifi access then click apply.
I tried these steps before and they worked just fine.

Project Server 2013---question about overtime work

I am not quite clear about the overtime work. Do we need to insert the plan overtime work cor all tasks at the beginning and project members should update it so that project server will automatically caculate the overtime work field for all tasks and resources?
Or we need to directly update the overtime work to get the data manually? Any sharing is highly appreciated!

Hi Anna,
If the team member enters 10h for a day whereas your project calendar specifies that working hours are 8hrs/day, Project will NOT automatically dispatch actuals between actual and overtime actual in MS Project.
Team members have to select "overtime" in the timesheet and enter overtime actuals. If approved by the project manager, it will be reflected as overtime actual work in the project plan. The point is that a resource can do 10hrs a day but without
counting it as overtime, since the same resource could do only 6 hrs the next day. Thus over the 2 days, there will have no overtime.
Note that in my case, it is grayed out since it can be deactivated in the timesheet settings.

Questions about Notes and To Do's in Mail 3.0

Overall I like the new features in Mail 3.0, but I'm having a difficult time sorting through how a couple of things work.
I believe I have sorted out how to sync the notes across my macs (using .mac), though it seems like my sync settings on the two machines (iMac and MacBook) keep changing themselves.
What I'm frustrated with is that, when I select text and make it a "to do" the only calendar option it gives me is "Calendar", which is a new addition under the "[email protected]" it seems to have made all by itself. It will not allow me to add the to do to any of my multiple local calendars (listed in Mail under the "on my mac" heading), which I sync across the two machines. iCal will also not allow me to move any of my local calendars to the "[email protected]" heading.
I want to be able to put the todo's under my existing calendars, not develop a whole array of new ones.

In the preferences menu, under "composing" There is an option for "Create Notes & To Do's in:" With the options being "On My Mac" and "[email protected]".
I did not have this set properly, and changing it meant that selecting text in a note and making a to do gave me the option of putting it in my local calendars.
However, when I select text from an e-mail it still puts it in my "[email protected]" calendar.
Partial fix --> Still not exactly what I want to see.

How can I get iPhoto to work with Lion? It comes up with an error about not working with this version of MAC os.omes up with an error

Iphoto was working fine until I downloaded and installed LION. Now I get a problem message to check that iphoto is compatible with this version of MAC OS X.
I always download software updates.

Have put iphoto into trash and tried to re-install it from cd, but although it is there on the list when I try to install, it is not in bold and does not permit me to tick it.
I have been to the app store and it tells me that iphoto is on my computer.

The question mark-slash key, the semi-colon key, the eject key, don't work at all as a result of getting wet. Can I do a temporary work-around by assigning another key (like the f11 or f12) to use until I get a "proper" fix>(that's a q-mark...)

Question about Note 870814.1 - Backing up EM Database Control Data

Quick question -- why would you want to downgrade OEMDC after upgrading to 11gR2?
"After upgrading to Oracle Database 11g release 2(11.2), if you want to downgrade Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control you must save your Database Control files and data before upgrading your database."

If you want to keep your current database control configuration after a downgrade you have to save this configuration before downgrading. Otherwise - after the downgrade - you would have a clean configuration. Database control continue to work, but it starts a new incarnation.

Security questions reset not working

I am trying to change my security questions because I forgot the answers to them but when I click on "Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to j•••••@yahoo.com" I never get the email to reset them. My email also does not start with a 'J', my email is the same as my UN on here and my alternate email also starts with a D. I just bought my first iTunes gift card and was hoping to buy some stuff but this has stymied me in every way.

The rescue email address is not the same as your primary email address on your account nor your alternate email addresses . If you don't know what your rescue email address is (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you could try contacting iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then answer the 2 questions that appear on that screen to check/update your rescue email address for potential future use

Question about getURL working with html frame

My page has two parts, the left part is the
"link" part, and the right part shows what it links. It's
name is "right".

Now, I use the left part as Flash.
As you know in Flash, getURL("./newpage.htm", "right"), it
does the same thing
and it works very well.
Next, I put some # mark in the newpage. which means if u type
newpage.htm#1
then it goes to the first part of that page and /#2 goes to
the second.
Now, If you use <a href="newpage.htm#2" target="right">
, it works perfectly.
It loads the newpage on the right frame and goes to #2
directly.
Now let's try Flash, I use getURL("./newpage.htm#2",
"right"),
But, It doesn't work for the # sign! It only loads the page
but not goes to #2.

Verizon Prepaid - questions about not paying on time

i'm a bit short on cash.
I have the verizon prepaid Unlimited plan on my Droid X2, which is unlimited text and data, which they don't offer anymore.
I'm a bit short on cash this month, and i know i can do without my phone for a week.
My payment of $95 is due on the 26th of each month, and i wont get paid til the 1st, which is a week later.
Will my phone still be able to be paid and activated again?
I've read something about I have 90 days to pay it to get it back on, and keep the same number.
Do they charge a reactivation fee type thing?
I've been a contract holder for about 6 years now with verizon, and finally got out of that, so i'm new to all this pre paid stuff.

Even on the grandfathered prepaid monthly plans, you still have an expiration date based on your last largest payment, The plan you were on was $95 a month, so in your case, your last payment, last month, means you have 6 months of that account being active, and Verizon will not change your price plan without permission. So even if you didn't pay till Christmas, you would still have the number active with the grandfathered plan on it.
