Question about serial numbers/authorization

Hi there. I am trying to install Photoshop Elements on my new computer. I installed it on one computer already, but I erased the operating system and sold this computer. Then I tried to install it on another computer, but unfortunately the operating system was too old to be compatible with Photoshop. Because it didn't work, I unfortunately just erased the program from this computer without uninstalling it. Now that I want to install Photoshop Elements on my new computer, it won't let me, as I've already installed it two times and need to uninstall it on one computer. But unfortunately, for the reasons I just gave, this is not possible. Can you please help? Thanks!!!

Q about Serial Numbers...

I registered FCP and various other components using my Apple ID. Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve the registration number from Apple, if it was entered there once? I'm trying to upgrade to 6.0.2 from 6.0.2 and the web site asks for the reg numer. I'm sure a couple hours rummaging around will turn up the original discs, but it's frustrating that Apple "knows" I entered the number once, I'm logging in to get the download, but it wants the number again...

Guys, software update will not suggest you download an update that requires a serial number. There are currently 9 updates to FCStudio 2, including2 "pro apps" updates. Once I found the serial number (see next) I ran software update to see if it would tell me anything - answer: nada. It did not even suggest the pro-apps updates required by FCS2 or any of the components.
My original post was more or less a complaint that Apple knows who I am and I've registered serial numbers, but I still have to produce the serial number to download an update (which presumably is useless without the original software installed already anyway).
The serial number problem was that I have two nearly identical "installing your software" bookelets with the serial number stickers on the face. I simply didn't notice, at first, that one of them says "Final cut studio upgrade from FCP" and the other says, "Final cut studio 2 UPG from FCS." Once I used the second one, everything worked.
All of this works fine with 10.4.11. There is no need to upgrade to Leopard for any of this, at least not on a G5.

Question about serial ata

Does anyone know when or if msi is going to do the serial ata's for the mobo and hd?

Hi the soon to be released KT4 will support serial data and ide both making it a nice board to own. It will also support USB2.0, 8X agp , and ddr3200 ram. It should be out real soon. http://www.Maxtor.com has some good info about serial ata. BIGDADDY51 CT.USA Also cards and adapters are being made for us guys with older boards.

Question about spool numbers

Hello all,
I'm trying to understand something about spool numbers.
On CCMS > Spool System > System Wide > Spool > SpoolNumbers > UsedNumbers, I can see 33%.
I guess this means that my spool is full at 33%.
When I check through SP01, I can see that I have around 20 000 spools.
My SPO_NUM is set à 32000, so my spool is full at more than 50%.
Could you please tell me where I'm wrong ? 33%, 50% ?

Question about Online Numbers

Hello I have a big question before purchasing my online number:
I live in Toronto, Canada and my family is in Argentina.
Online numbers are not available for these 2 countries.
my question is:
Can i purchase an US online number for my family to call from argentina and pay international rate (as if calling to US)?
or Does this only work if the people are calling to a local number?
They want to be in touch with me and they dont care if they have to pay as international call. Thank you

Getting an Online Number closer to your family in Argentina, like a number from Chile, may be a good option for cheaper international calling from Argentina compared to calling a US number. Or get them to use Skype.

I recently had a break-in - Question about serial number

I recently had a break-in and my iPad, iPad mini and iPod Touch were stolen. I was able to retrieve the serial number for the iPad and iPod Touch, but the iPad mini doesn't show up as one of my devices owned. I've had it for about 6 months and I know it was registered. It was also on my iCloud. I cannot find it either place now. Could the thieves have done something to it to remove it from my account? Also, who can I contact at Apple to see about getting the serial number for this stolen item? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Simple Question about Serial Number

I'm really sorry if this is amateur, but earlier I bought a serial number on-line for Pages and it says it was electronically delivered. (I have a paper to write tonight). But I can only find one serial-number-looking-thing within the two emails they sent me and when I type it in to Pages it says it's an incorrect number. Am I looking in the wrong place? How long is the number usually? The only reason why I'm asking on here is because the number to call for support closes at 8:00 pm and it's 8:30. I'm desperate.

First of all, I don't think you can buy a serial number for Pages alone -- you have to buy a serial number for iWork. Assuming you are talking about iWork08, my serial number has this makeup:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX
where "X" represents an alpha-numeric character. All alpha characters are in upper case.

Question about serial number on photoshop elements 10.

Hi I just installed photoshop elements 10 on my laptop using disc 2 for the 64 bit connection but I figured out I only have 32 bit connection. How do I safely remove photoshop and then load again using disc 1 for 32 bit connection. After I installed from disc two I was not prompted for further discs and an error box popped up regarding istallation; however, the photoshop icon is on my desktop and will lauch when I click it. My concern is if I remove photoshop from disc 2 to install from disc 1 when I have a problem with the fact that i already put the serial number in. I wasn't prompted to create a adobe account during installation. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks

1) First, if you have 32 bit operating system only then you will not be able to install elements using disc 2 , it would have prompted the error message at the time of installation only.
2) If you still want , you can uninstall the photoshop and then install the elements from disc 1 without any issue.

Question about section numbering in InDesign CS3

How do I use section numbering (1-1, 2-1, etc.) throughout a book document? I have a Current Page Number at bottom center of each Master page and want to include the Chapter Number and a hyphen before the Current Page Number. I want to start numbering over with each chapter. Also, I would like to find out how to use a running header of the Chapter name in the Master Pages. Thank you.

There is a distinction between chapter and section numbers. Also, Book can have a special meaning, so let's see if we can clear up some stuff here, first.
Is this a single document which you are dividing into logical chapters by uing sections in Pages panel Numbering and Section Options, or an InDesign Book, which is a collection of individual documents, each of which might be one of your chapters, and each of which might also contain multiple sections. An individual document can contain many sections, each of which may have a prefix and a section marker, both of which are accessible for use in numbering pages, but an individual document can have only one chapter number.

Hola!!!Yesterday, I asked a question about serial port comunication, because I wanted to find a function in Labview similar to "ProcessSystem Events" in Labwindows!!

My problem is that I have written a comand through the serial port, and I doesn´t receive the answer. If I execute the programm step by step, I don´t have any problem but if the program runs i don´t get the answer!!!It is not a problem of the bytes that I write and receive, i have used the function "Visa Bytes at Serial Port"!!I have used th function "wait" but it doesn´t work!!!!i have used a Flat sequence but it hasn´t solved the problem!!so, i don´t know what i can do!!!
I attach the "different versions" that i did, maybe someone find a solution!!

I don´t have a termination character but I know the number of bytes that I have to receive. I tried checking the number of bytes that I received, using "Bytes at Port", but it gets a value and it isn´t refreshed, it has a value so my program stop in the while structure that I have added. I attach the vi. I don´t know how to do that. I am starting with Labview, and it is a little difficult for me!!
In the first change that I did, I added the function "Bytes at Port" inside the While loops, but it doesn´t work either !!!

Question about using numbers for an address spread sheet

I am using numbers for a mailing address spread sheet. When I try to type in a Massachusetts zip code, once I hit "enter" the cell deletes the zero, which is the first number in the zip code. How can I change this? Thank you
