Question & answer database

Hi,
I refer to the below web link

the documentation says i can branch to it via SAP Reference Structure, but i am unable to find my way to this Question & Answer database in Solution Manager.
Can someone let me know the menu path / t-code / the procedure to access the same.
Did some searching on this forum, but was unable to find any info helpful.
Based on what i have read about this, it contains questions which can be used to prepare the blueprint, is my understanding right? In R/3 there is a database of questions, but i understand SAP does not support the same anymore & they have been moved to Solution Manager now.
Await inputs from the gurus.

Hi Rabin, i suppose you should think of using such SBO-features as UDO/UDT. You can easily create the table(s) for your purpose and use it directly from SBO interface.

Purpose
The Question & Answer database (Q&Adb), through which you navigate using the, SAP Reference Structure, is the key tool you use to define your business requirements when implementing your SAP System.
You can use it to set your project scope in a process-specific manner and to draw up your Business Blueprint. As well as the standard Q&Adb, industry-specific versions (for the consumer products and automotive industry) and for Global ASAP are available.
Features
Items in the SAP Reference Structure are assigned elements that are stored under the tabs Business Analysis, Information and Technical Analysis on the right of the screen. Here you will find:
Information such as SAP documentation, transactions, information on input and output, and organizational units
Business-specific information, such as project documentation, Questions, CI templates, and technical data (for example, on conversions and interfaces)
The substructures of the SAP Reference Structure are organized according to specific topics or according to enterprise areas, helping you to map your enterpriseu2019s requirements to the SAP System.
You can assign IMG activities to structure items, allowing you to automatically generate a Project IMG for the enterprise areas that have been set in scope.
The Project IMG serves as a basis for the ASAP - IMG link, which makes it easier for you to make configuration settings. From the BPML, you can go directly to the IMG activities that are relevant for a particular structure item that has been set in scope.
In an industry-specific implementation project, you use value chains to generate your Business Blueprint. Value chains describe all key processes for a specific industry, across all enterprise areas. In an industry-specific Q&Adb, these value chains are located in the Business Processes substructure within the standard SAP Reference Structure.
The Q&Adb contains a flexible reporting system, allowing you to generate Business Overview reports, Business Blueprint reports, and master lists (for example, Business Process Master List), Organizational Structure Lists, Development Lists, Authorization Lists).
The Issues Database is also part of the Q&Adb. Here you can gather open issues that occur during your implementation project.
You can assign owners to structure items, and may edit or model them as required. For more information see SAP Reference Structure.

note: we don't want to upgrade 10gr2 database into 11gR2 yet. But we created the 11gR2 ASM, then a 11gr2 database on ASM, and plan to migrate datafile in 10gR2 database to 11gR2 ASM
1. oracle 10gR2 installed first version: 10.2.0.3.0
2. then install 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure, and created ASM (version 11gr2)
$ sqlplus / as sysasm

Also, see unix error log and ohasd error log if you find anything in that

Few basic questions about database administration

I have a few basic questions about database administration.
1. I switched one of my oracle instances to archivelog mode. I just cannot locate the archive log files on my windows system. The %ora_home%/ora92/database/archive directory is desperately empty...
2.What is the tools01.dbf datafile used for?
3.What is the undotbso1.dbf datafile used for?

1. The archive log location needs to be specified in your init.ora file. By default, Oracle will place the archive files in either ORACLE_HOME/dbs or ORACLE_HOME/database.
2. The tools01.dbf file belongs to the tools tablespace which should be set as the default tablespace for system. It primary purpose is to hold Oracle Forms and Reports database objects, however, it should also be used for holding other non sys database objects such as the perfstat (statspack) or other third party database schemas e.g. quests sqllab.
3. undotbs01.dbf file belongs to the undo tablespace.

Question about Database Access

Hello,
I have one question regarding database access from Java.
What are the other ways of connecting to database other than JDBC? This was one of the question I been asked by the interviewer. He says JDBC connection can slow down the perfomance when it comes large number of transactions?

He may have been referring to available "persistance managers" like Hibernate or the mechanisms build into EJB containers. However, as far as I know, they all use JDBC, and any speed-up is due to caching of data as objects.

i bought the itunes music credit, and when tried to redeem it asked for my ID, i have put the details, then it asked for the security questions answers, which i can not remember. when i try to reset, the email get sent to un unknown email address which i dont own... i tried everything to update my email addresses and its still not changing. i dont know how this weird email got there, i dont own it....
please help!!!

You won't be able to change the rescue email address on your acocunt until you can answer two of your questions, if you don't recognise the address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

How can I get Apple to send my iTunes security question answers to my new email?

Originally, I had my Apple account set up to a gmail account. But then, I deleted my gmail and connected my account to my hotmail instead. I'm going to lose this laptop soon for a new laptop swapout, and this is the only device that lets me use my iTunes account. Hi! So I haven't used iTunes in a few months but I just got an iTunes gift card and want to make a purchase. iTunes redeemed it just fine but now that I want to make a purchase I am having problems. I can't remember my security question answers and iTunes is requesting them. I have two other verified emails but the are NOT rescue emails. If you don't already have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you won't be able to use that route to get your answers reset - and you will only be able to add one to your account by answering two of your questions, so you will need to get them reset first, in which case see if the instructions on this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551
