Question! Facebook app- being charged

Hi
I installed a Fb app from app store and have been using it whilst connected to a wifi signal...however; i am being charged £1 a day even when i have deleted the app !
Jokes!
Can anyone help/ suggestions?
My 3g roaming is off btw.

It's partially correct. As long as you are actively using the phone it will connect via WiFi. However, if you have Facebook set to get updates or notifications when the phone is idle it will use cellular data. You can get around this by turning off cellular data - Settings/General/Network - Cellular Data on/off.

Well, you're not alone. The question is why is this happening? Since the referenced link shows the same type of problem with Yahoo finance, I suspect there is a coding problem on the site, specific to how Firefox is reading the code. Not being a programmer, I can't offer specific advice other than contacting either Firefox through their Community forum, or Yahoo Finance.

How to re-install an app downloaded in now free time without being charged

It means I've never purchased it and had no backup on iTunes or any other Apple devices, I just downloaded in now free time now deleted. But someone told me that's ok, once you download it in any way successfully including give your money to buy it or downloaded in now free time, both of them will be taken as an purchased item, it means you will find it under purchased category and you can keep updating and re-installing out of charge all the time if you want to

No unfortunately that is not possible. If you bought the app on disk you would have to buy it again to get it from the app store.

You sure you didn't sync the iPhone. Just re-sync it to your computer to get the app back or download it again.

Facebook app question

Hey guys,
Trying to get the Facebook app to display my pic on the home screen (login screen) of the app. When you sign in the first time, it used to create a "button" with your profile pic and name. You tap it to log in. Well, it works for everyone else, but for me, it's just a generic pic, and says "Facebook user." I've tried deleting & re-downloading the app, checking my FB settings, but can't get it to work. Anyone else have is problem? Any ideas?

This doesn't answer your question but I find the Facebook app to be pretty poor, much better using the actual site through Safari in my opinion. You don't get notifications through the app do you?
