Question for people who bought CFMX 7

Hi,
My company is planning to buy CFMX 7 enterprise edition on
windows. We got the pricing and all the details from them. But
ColdFusion MX 7 Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition licenses
both cover two CPUs.
What does it mean by 2 CPUs?
Will these 2 CPUs will work as 2 servers? Can I consider one
as development server and other as production server?
Please clarify.

The decision is yours. You can use one for dev and one for
prod, or you can use both for prod and cluster them. We do the
former.

Providing archival folio for people who bought subscriptions

Hello,
I have a kiosk in which each issue has a fixed in-app price. Also, I would like to add to the kiosk possibility to buy an annual subscription for all the issue for next year, but that does not give me the opportunity to download all the previous folio, with a subscription. Is it possible, with the Adobe DPS Professional suite, to provide free archival issues for people who have bought an annual subscription? If not, what is the easiest way to do this with the version Enterprise, with minimum of programming.

There's no option to "switch subscriptions".
You would have to:

A question for people who owns a MSI GP60 2QE Leopard

I have a question for people who use cocoppa?

If you use cocoppa I have a question. I see that there are icons on the app for camera,photos, music & messages on cocoppa. Like the actually iPods apps that you didn't download & were on there when you got it. But when you get to the part where it wants to know what app you want to use it for & you search one of those 4 I can't find it. Can you just not get the icons for the iPods default apps or am I doing something wrong? If you've used the app & figured it out let me know how please

Why is there no exchange program for people who bought ipad2 before the release date of ipad3

I sold my iPad 64g 3g on 12 December 11 so I could buy and iPad 2 64g 3G iPad2 on Xmas then three months later ipad3 comes out I have been I contact with apple support and they tell me to sell it on the returns program they would offer me £300 for it I payed £700 with three years cover plan.
I would have been happy to wait three months if I was notified that there was an iPad 3 release date but nothing came out .
So I ask apple and you why is there no exchange program in place for new owners of iPad 2 to be able to exchange for iPad 3 this is good business for the support we give apple in buying they're products time after time

Apple, as a rule, does not announce hardware products far in advance of actual ordering availability.
More importantly, the Terms of Service for users Apple Support Communities does not permit such speculation here.
There were rumors and speculation about capabilities of the 'iPad 3' published online within hours of the release of the iPad 2 one year ago. If you want to 'keep up' with the rumors, I suggest taking few moments every month to visit websites like The Unofficial Apple Weblog (tuaw.com), and The Apple Insider (appleinsider.com), among others. You'll find a wealth of information about current products as well as plenty of rampant speculation about future products and projected release dates there.
Regarding 'trade-in' or 'trade-up', Apple has built their organization to manufacture and market new devices, media, and software. As you discovered with your original iPad, the best solution may be to sell your current device privately and buy a new one if you have a compelling need to upgrade to the latest model.
And, try as I might, I've never convinced my local car dealer to take my 3-month-old vehicle with 3,000 miles in equal trade for the shiny new model that was just introduced. But honestly, I'm buying run-of-the-mill 'daily transportation', not collectible automotive-works-of-art that will appreciate in value over time.

I have a question for people who have ordered personalized iPods online and picked them up at a Retail Store

Is it possible to be credited in-store for recycling an old iPod even if you were already charged in full for the new device at the time of purchase?
The difference between "yes" and "no" is about $30 and if it's "no" then I'll definitely forego the engraving, as much as I'd like to have it done for my intended 5G purchase (that is, assuming that Apple ever gives us an actual retail date).

Firstly, the CS3 Design Prem comes with Photoshop Extended CS3, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, Acrobat Pro 8 as well as Bridge and and Vesion Cue.
Secondly, has the packaging been opened? If so, it could still be installed on a PC or rather Macintosh somewhere. If so, this makes it a trickier proposition with regards to installing it yourself or selling it on.
Don't quote me on this, but if the software is fresh and unopened or has been deactivated, you could upgrade to Design Prem CS4 Mac and then crossgrade to Design Prem Windows. Don't know if it's possible to crossgrade and upgrade in one fell swoop from Mac to Win. I suspect not - but will be happy to be proven wrong.

What type of media file is AVI? Because I looked on the list of codecs compatible with iPod and it didn't say if it was compatible or not, maybe it's something else. If you know, please tell me

For the formats that were not compatible, I converted them, and it then played the video, but with no sound. I want to get South of Nowhere for a friend on my ipod, butt he only format they come in is AVI and MPG. MPG is quicktime, I know that so it won't work. But what is AVI. Of course I could buy it from the iTunes music store, but I am a kid with no credit card, and my parents wouldn't dare trust me with that

Situation for people who bought iPad 3 in Brazil?

Apple probably wouldn't make any suggestion at all.
We (other users like you) suggest you keep on using it. It still works the same way it did as the day you bought it, doesn't it?
Four months is way outside the 14 day return period Apple offers, and even outside the 30 days reported to be allowed by some Apple stores in this situation.
I bought my G4 computer only 10 years ago. OSX 10.8 doesn't run on it. What is Apple going to do about that? My 31 year old Toyota still runs but Toyota dealerships no longer sell parts. I want to know what Toyota corporation is going to do about that!

Is family base just for people who have kids? Can I un subscribe to it if I don't need it later on? I only want it to block un wanted calls.

Horlacher, we want you to subscribe to only the wireless tools that you need. Family Base allows you to monitor your usage and set limits on usage for data, messages, calls and purchases. You also have the ability to block incoming calls and text messages, as well.

For people who have had it die due to sweat - how did you have it?

The title is basically my question. For people who have had it die due to sweat, what orientation/where did you have it? I'm just wondering if all the claims are from having the open adapter slot face up, where sweat would easily drip into it.

@WalleWalle you are brave. Try drying it out in the sun or in some rice, and don't turn it on for a day or 2. The best thing to do would be to take it apart right away, disconnect the batter and wash the circuit with DI water, but that would be very difficult!

Question for anyone who has the American Ball game

I've been spending a lot of time saving up my tickets in American Ball so I can unlock some more items.
I've finally reached 5,000 tickets and I'm wondering if the table that costs 5,000 tickets is worth it.
Is there any difference between the different skee-ball tables aside from the appearance? For example, does the skee-ball table that costs 5,000 tickets have a higher ticket pay-out than the one that only costs 1,000 tickets? Or is it basically just a different skin with all the same features?

I sat exam 98-364: Database Fundamentals just to see what the MTA exams were like and found the question difficulty and content very similar to what was outlined in the study guide available from Certiport. I found
the exam rather easy however I've had quite a lot of experience with databases and also have a number of other Microsoft database certifications.
You need to keep in mind that the MTA exams are designed for people who are just starting an IT career path or are looking to enhance their understanding of IT fundamentals i.e. These exams are really for beginners. As stated by Davin, you'd probably be
better off looking into the MCSD: Web Applications certifications.

What happens when you try to buy in-app purchases, do you get any error messages ? Some dvi questions for those who really know there stuff!

Hi all, haven't lurked these forums in a few weeks but just had a quick question for those who wanna build up some "points". I'm trying to connect my MBP 15" (1.83ghz) to my Dell LCD 26" T.V. via DVI. Anyhoo, the DVI port on an MBP is a DVI-I (Dual link 24 + 5 pin) fenmale port while my Dell LCD sports a DVI-D (Dual link 24 + 1 pin) female port. Anyhoo, I went to my local Circuit City store and picked up a 6.6ft DVI-D (Single link 18 + 1 pin) male cable to hook both devices up. Should this work? If those have no idea what I'm talking about, I've included a link with a picture of allt he different DVI ports:

Am I missing something? Do you actually have a problem making this work? If the plugs you chose are mechanically compatible (and both are DVI D, dual-link), then there should not be a problem.
Ah. I see the concern. The extra four pins. I believe they make the connector able to supply hybrid DVI-A and DVI-D. The Mac output is hybrid so it can easily be adapted drive a VGA monitor, too.
I think you should be fine.
I have a ViewSonic 1600x1200 LCD monitor with a DVI (single) and it works superbly with the Mac.
