I want to buy new laptop: g400s, i3 3110M, vga geforce 720M, but I don't know it can play good game dota2, or battelfield 4 with low setting graphic or no? And how max temperature when play game? i scare it very hot and it will be turn off. thank for reading!

Some of them can and many of them can't. My old Dell XPS 17 has 2 video cards and I can upgrade both (must be the same to be able to run properly). Unfortunately, you can't upgrade video card on your machine, it actually only has a video chip which is soldered to the motherboard.

Is there an option to display a link for the user to get their fallback questions right away instead of waiting X seconds for MFA to timeout? I'd like for the user to successfully authenticate first then have a link appear to skip to their questions.

A quick and dirty way may be to count your logins from wwctx_sso_session$ :
select count(1) from WWCTX_SSO_SESSION$ where SESSION_START_TIME > (sysdate-24) and USER_NAME != 'PUBLIC' ;
This will give you the number of users who have logged on during a 24 hour interval. It doesn't filter out multiple user logins.
Regarding 10.1.4.2 :
It is a patch set on top of Portal 10.1.4. By definition, patch sets should not include any functionality changes. Oracle has added generation of HTML 4.01 Strict for your Portal however. Keep in mind however that you are not having all the fixes which have been incorporated in the patch set. Especially the web cache - PPE communication may be a bit buggy in some cases.

EyesOnly - a question for users of Password Protect 6.

One user has reported to me that "EyesOnly", which comes as

Question for users of large iTunes library on external hard drive

I currently have about 350GB of iTunes music files from over 900 CDs on a Western Digital external hard drive. All is ripped in Apple Lossless. I operate the system with a Dell Inspiron 600m with 2GB of RAM and running Windows XP. So far, so good. The library loads quickly and there is little lag in accessing the files through iTunes.
The price of hard drives have dropped to the point that I can now rip all of my remaining 1,000 plus CDs with Apple Lossless. I anticipate the entire collection with take up about 1TB of storage space. Will iTunes and my system be able to handle this without lenghty lags in loading and access time?

My library (music, video, podcast) is hovering at about 850 gigs on an external 1 TB drive. iTunes does take a minute or so to load (but I'm old and it still seems pretty fast to me). iTunes itself runs fine. My experience is that processor power makes a huge difference as the library gets larger. I had a large library on an external and a Powerbook G4. Lots of spinning beach ball. Same library on an Intel Macbook worked just fine.

For starters,
DO:
Ask them to discuss what they want to do with the application
Try to understand their level of computer literacy
Keep your conversation non-technical
Continue to interact with the users during the design and
development process
Try to identify a "champion" with whom you can interface as the
project progresses
DON'T:
Use technical terms or discuss technical issues
Talk down to them
Promise delivery dates until you have documented their
requirements and they have approved them

First of all, uninstall it with the uninstaller.
Then:
Install the ENGLISH version.
Change the language in the CC app to Korean.
Install the Korean version. (DON't uninstall the English version)
Change back the langauge in the CC app to English.
When your OS is running in English, InDesign will run in English with Korean functionality added, if your OS is running in Korean it will take the Korean User Interface, so let your OS run in English.
Every installer language will add needed plugins for the work with that language. E.g. If I install Hebrew, I get RTL functionality in German version, only if I would change the OS language it would change the language of InDesign, InDesign takes always as UI language the language of the OS if available, if not (in your case you have uninstalled English before), it takes any version which is available in the order of languages specified in the OS.
If you need to run your program in a different language than the OS but you have installed it in the language of the OS it becomes more difficult. You would have to use some system tools which are able to force a program to open with a different language. Most of those tools are freeware.

Forgot password for users for whom challenge questions are not set

Hi,
I have a scenario here where initially the environment property for force setting challenge questions during first login was not set to true.
But it has been set to true later. But for users created prior setting this property to true, the forgot password link is taking to a page to answer challenge questions which obviously is not working.
Is there anyway to handle this scenario without doing ADF customization? For example say, to force all previous users also to set challenge questions for whom the challenge questions are not set.

Hi, In your scenario, since user has forgotten his/her password and he has not set his answers to questions, so the only option left is calling Help Desk. Help desk guys should educate end users that go to OIM->My Information -> Set Security Questions. This is the only easy way I can think of.

Questions for Winamp Users on organizing files..

I have a few questions for those who use Winamp to manage their music files on their player. And this may relate to WMP and CMS users too.
. Does anyone know what the "Auto Fill" feature does and it's purpose? I tried it a few times and it deletes and adds certain files that I don't know of, even when i have my player sync'ed perfect to my Music Folder.
2. I thought Syncing means that it will match everthing exact to the player and computer....yet when i use the WinAmp Feature I get duplicate files. Now I have noticed that I have to clear out my library on Winamp and rescan the main folder where i have all my music on the external HD so it won't get confused with the copies I have on my PC. Yet Syncing won't tell the difference. However the CMS sync function I definately like but I don't want to jump to different software to do certain things.
Other than that I like using Winamp just like I loved CMS pre 2. Firmware upgrade.
What are everyone else's opinions?

Well, I don't really know the answers to your questions, as I sync all my music manually via Winamp. I do have a question of my own on the topic though, if you don't terribly mind ... ^_^
I know in WMP, when you set the property "Band/orchestra/accompaniment" WMP would find that if it was present in a media file and instead of using the artist's name to create the folder structure (e.g. device\Artist\Album\file), it would place it in device\Accompaniment\Album\file. Does this work in Winamp, and furthermore, is there a way to rearrange the folder structure of the player, or at least move songs around by adding this tag to songs already on the player?

Old user, questions for new forums

the last time that i needed to DL extensions was right after
the macromedia/adobe merger. being a longtime dreamweaver user, i
was very familiar with the exchange and had no problem with it
except that i was a bit slow to browse through. and, also, being a
longtime photoshop user, i was familiar with the adobe
support/downloads/forums etc. as well.
i have a new computer and am now using dw 8 and am looking
for some dw extensions. the exchange no longer lists information
about the software compatibility of the extensions. so i came to
the forum to look for information. the dw general forum lists
119814 topics, and yet i can only access 2 pages (40 topic).
my next step was to seek out a _forum_ forum. the closest
thing i found, linked from
http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/index.html
(which also links to this forum) was under general/forum
comments. i discovered that it required a different log-in
procedure, requiring a first/last name for user, instead of the
email address that this forum requires. well, this turns out to be
defined as a &quot;user to user&quot; forum and
restricted to only that. for example, the faq had a question
regarding downloads (i'm thinking maybe i'll find a link to a
better-functioning dw exchange). but the answer to this
&quot;faq&quot; was &quot;there are no
downloads in the user to user forum&quot;.
i want to be able to get dw extensions and to locate a forum
that addresses this activity. i also want to locate a forum that
discusses the functionality of the support forums in general.
and, possibly, most importantly, i want to be able to access
more than just the 40 most recent postings in a forum that claims
to have almost 12,000 topics.

Not sure whether this is right forum to post this message.
If anybody has already captured user experience for the failover environment, will appreciate their help on this. I will give overview of environment. Using PowerHA for ASCS/SCS failover, ORACLE Data Guard for Database failover.
Trying to capture user experience for the failover environment
if ASCS/SCS fail,
App Server Fail (using F5 Load Balancer which should reroute, unless all app server fail),
Database fail
with following cases:
1. User logged in, NO ACTIVITY. I believe NO IMPACT either ASCS/SCS fail or DB fail or App Server fail.
2. User logged in and run a transaction before failover.
     What will happen in case of ASCS / SCS
     What will happen in case of DB failover
   and what will happen in case of App server fail (NO High Availability, only redundant app servers.      MAX 4 app servers for each component)
3. User logged in and run a transaction during failover.
   What will happen in case of ASCS / SCS
     What will happen in case of DB failover
   and what will happen in case of App server fail (NO High Availability, only redundant app servers.      MAX 4 app servers for each component)
Not sure which one possible or not. Some case thinking system will hang need to refresh. Some case hour glass and then come back once failover complete. and some case session closed completely.

DB failed and SCS failed won't have any impact to enduser, but if app server failed, the user session will lost, user will see a pop up error message at their SAPGUI.

App server won't be able to do much thing but it's work processes into reonnecting status. it should resume (reconnect to DB) when failover is compoleted. So user should be able to continue the sessions.

user sessions in failed app server will be lost. However user should be able to logon agan if
1) logon via group, and
2) within the group, there is at least one appl server alive.

What a wonderful tool. I have some Logic-specific questions for those of you that are using it.
1. How can I get the Transfer files that Melodyne creates to be stored with the project?
2. If I've tuned up a section of a vocal, and then want to copy that region to
another place in the song, will my edits get copied as well? I am thinking about how Logic allows you to move automation in and out of regions.
3. Has anyone had the Transfer process spontaneously stop? It does so to me about one time in four. Usually I start again and it's OK. OS X 10.6, LP 8.02.

I gues you are refering to Melodyne Editor? There is a setting in Melodyne preferences which allows you to set the transfered files location.

What you hear is in fact melodyne, not Logic in this track so you can hear edits made in Melodyne. What you do in the track is ignored so you can't copy a fragment to another position directly in the track. But if you copy the fragment in Melodyne's window then you will hear it. I hope you got what I mean

No I hadn't. There are 2 options to start the transfer - first is: (1) click start in Logic (2) hit 'transfer' in melodyne. The second way is (1) hit 'transfer' (2) click start in Logic. I use UAD plugins and once I found somewher in the Melodyne forum that the second way is better if you use some specific plugins. Because I use the second way for that reason it is possible that I don't have the issue you describe.

Question for Digital Media Mac Users on whether a Mac would make sense??

Hello once again, and thank you for reading.
After trying to figure what lower-priced Mac that I could afford for school...I am left with this question for some of you graphic designers and website designers.....
If I already have a WInXP machine with a AMD x2 5050e, 2 GB Ram, Soundblaster Audigy, and a ATI x1650Pro video card.......
Is it worth investing in a Mac to begin with? I would like to learn more on the OSX and the Mac in general as it is still highly used in the career field...I have seen job descriptions where knowing a Mac was a definite plus.
The Mac I could afford would not be more powerful than my WinXP, just different (and yes, more stable). (mini, G5, Dual g4, etc)
Comments and Advice from the experts out there would really be appreciated.

If you just want to learn the Mac system, why not try to find a used model? If you already have a desktop PC, you could go for a few-generations-old Mini, and use your current keyboard, monitor and mouse (provided they're USB and not PS2). You could even get a KVM if you don't want to be fussed swapping cables around. Check eBay and also lowendmac.com for prices. If you think you'd prefer expandability, a used PowerMac G4 should be around $200-300.

Instead of creating multiple forms, 1 in each different language, for the same service, is there any workaround?

Hoan - is your question what are the considerations when creating multiligual catalogs? If so, I can tell you that at other clients I have seen them use a single catalog for one or two languages. For the two langugages, such as Spanish/English, you can create a single catalog with both of them. Once you get to more than two languages, the catalog would get unweildy and is therefore not suggested.
