Question in splitting

I want a solution in splitting the PDF file that contains nearly 1000 pages(contains 24 chapters).
According to the Folio Page number in the PDF I give page number in the Adobe Acrobat Pages Tab.
While splitting the PDF files with 1st level of Bookmark it is not coming with the folio page number as in the full book pdf; the pages comes as total page available in the splitted.
e.g.,
In the full book PDF(1000 pages), second chapter starting from the folio page number 22-50. If I split the files according level 1 bookmark, the second chapter page number comes as 1-29.
Could anybody help me in getting the folio page number in the splitted file, like as full book pdf having.

AFAIK the CCM node license is only required for the CUCM service. in my lab i have 2 servers, if i shut down the CCM service in the SUB and go to license viewer i get 2 licensed nodes, 1 used and 1 available.
the CCM node license refers to a node in which you will be doing call processing or in which you will have the service running as a backup server.
the TFTP service should not require the license but to be honest i'm not sure if it's required to run IPVMS. according to the test i did in my lab it should not be, since the only service i stopped was the CUCM service and all the others kept running.

  • [makepkg] Question about split packages handling in makepkg

    Hello
    One question came to my mind, while I was looking at the vlc PKGBUILD. Does splitting packages have to be done in such a non efficient way? I mean, why do we have to delete for example, a directory, once make install has been issued, only to copy the removed parts by hand in the next function? Wouldn't it be better to just specify something like per-package %files section (like in RPM .spec files)? Is this approach possible in Arch without ditching all the work up to now? If there was any discussion about that, I would love to take part in it. I am also looking forward to listening some critical comments.

    Allan wrote:How is providing a list of files to include more efficient that providing a list not to include?
    If it was only about providing a list of files to include/exclude, it would be ok. However, as far as I know, when Makefile has only one install target and we have to separate some files, we have to install all first, and then remove parts which don't fit into the main package just to copy them back in place in the next package-foo2() function. It's like doing the same work twice. Is that right? If so, it could be quite problematic to package bigger projects. I'm kind of speculating here, because I can't name any of the "big projects", but I'm quite sure there are some out there. I hope I made my point clearly now.

  • Question about split group by in IQ16 SP08.

    Dear all,
    I have a customer who encountered performance of "union all view".
    As per our analysis, IQ optimizer does't split the Group By.
    [Query]
    select "EDPS_CSN","count"()
      from "adwown"."vw_adw_dpy111n_01"
      group by "edps_csn"
    As far as I know, There are some restrictions on the situations and queries that benefit from the split GROUP BY.
    But this view meets all restrictions.
    Please refer to the below URL.
    [Impact on query performance of GROUP BY over a UNION ALL]
    - http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.infocenter.dc00169.1520/html/iqperf/iqperf35.htm
      So I would like to know the following questions.
      1) How to enforce the split the group by.
      2) Any changes about split group by in IQ16 SP08?
      I failed to attach the query pland becuase it's extension is html.
      Any comments or advice will be greatly apprecaited.

        3) ADWOWN.TB_ADW_DPY117N : 16,160,487

    The big issue is that the GROUP BY is on the view, not on the base tables.  At the time of optimization, we don't know always know the data distribution of the GROUP BY key.  At least we don't know whether or not each table in the UNION ALL has overlapping data for that column.  Consequently, you have to retrieve all data first, sort/order it, then run the group by.
    There are caveats to this, as your link provides.  But what is missing from your post is the logic of the view.  Can you provide that?

  • Questions about split ..trying to extract 2 levels of OUs from distinguishedname

    Hallo .. I'm still on a voyage of self-discovery to teach myself Powershell. Be kind.
    I'd like to extract two levels of OU names from a computer object's distinguished name in AD for a report. I'm getting .distinguishedname from get-adcomputer.
    I have this:
            CN=COMPUTERNAME,OU=OU2,OU=OU1,OU=NOTWANTED,OU=NOTTHISEITHER,DC=FOO,DC=BAR,DC=COM
    ...and I'd like to pull out:
           OU1
           OU2
    I'd like each assigned to its own variable. Through messing around I've been able to get a little of what I want using split:
           $OU = ($blah.DistinguishedName -split ",*..=")[2,3]
    This gives me both OU1 and OU2, but I can't figure out how to separate *that* into two separate values which I can assign to $OU1 & $OU2.
    Is split even the right choice, or would a regular expression be the way to go? I confess I don't really understand those yet.
    Examples would be welcome.
    Thanks much.

    Nyuk. That's what you get when the liberal-arts majors go into tech!
    Following your logic I figured out how to add $OU3 also. Goody.
    Is it permissible to ask one more followup question in here or will I be beaten soundly? I'll risk it...
    So, I can now see that although *most* of our servers have a consistent number of 'parent' OUs, some don't. Meaning, it could be one of the following...
    CN=COMPUTERNAME,OU=OU3,OU=OU2,OU=OU1,OU=NOTWANTED,OU=NOTTHISEITHER,DC=FOO,DC=BAR,DC=COM
    CN=COMPUTERNAME,OU=OU2,OU=OU1,OU=NOTWANTED,OU=NOTTHISEITHER,DC=FOO,DC=BAR,DC=COM
    CN=COMPUTERNAME,OU=OU1,OU=NOTWANTED,OU=NOTTHISEITHER,DC=FOO,DC=BAR,DC=COM
    ...and I want to see *only* the OUs that are under OU=NOTWANTED. Children, I guess.
    I tried filtering -
    $container3=[adsi]$container2.Parent | | where-object {$_ -notlike "OU=NOTWANTED" }
    and that didn't work at all. No error, but I'm seeing NOTWANTED as part of my output.
    What is one of the many things I am probably doing wrong?

  • Question license splitting in CUCM 6.x

    Hi All,
    Under the old 4.x model you were able to split the roles of you CCM's without a license penalty.
    eg. I have 3 servers licensed but I actualy have 5 servers in the cluster 3 servers running all services except TFTP and IPVMS 2 servers ONLY running TFTP and IPVMS.
    This was totaly valid under the license rules for 4.x but now with 6.x there is license enforcement so what I want to know is can I run the same cluster above with only 3 node licenses or will I need to have a full node license for the 2 boxes only doing TFTP and IPVMS?
    I am posing this question through my local Cisco guys but thought someone else may have run into it. Any help would be great.

  • Question on splitting the invoice

    Hi Gurus,
    Could you please answer my below query.
    is it possible to create a sales order, follow the usual process of DR (Drop Shippment) (PR -> PO -> MIRO) but when it comes to the invoice to split the amount e.g. in 4parts?
    If yes, how?
    Many Thanks
    Ajith
    Edited by: Kumar on Dec 12, 2008 10:51 AM

    This functionality is available in IS Oil using invoicing cycles and grouping the required condition into respective invoice types. For example; all fee condition types to be grouped in a FEE invoice, all product price related conditions to be grouped in the PRODUCT invoice, and so on. Not sure if the same/ similar functionality is available for standard SD.

  • Question about splitting string for placeholder in SE91

    Hi all,
    In SE91, I had a message with placeholder & & & &.
    In my program, I will have my message passed into a variable.
    I will then split the message into 4 equal portion to be fit to the placeholder.
    The problem is, the placeholder will display additional space in between a word if that word is splitted. I can't type a very long example, but I will try to explain using the example below,
    My message, V_TEXT is : Hello. Today is Wednesday.
    Let's say I split it to
    V_TEXT1 = Hello. Toda
    V_TEXT2 = y is Wednesday
    V_TEXT3 = blank
    V_TEXT4 = blank
    WHen I display in the system message, the message will become
    "Hello Toda y is Wednesday", with a space between Toda & y. How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mil,
    Please use &1&2&3&4 in your message instead of & & & &.This will avoid the unnessary space in between.

  • Question about (split)

    Evening, the code below is supose to read a file, split it at every "|" and then print it. But it split it at every char. so instead of words I get chars.
    -class FileHandler-
    private static String[] names;
    public static String[] getNames(){
          return names;
    public static void readAuth(String fileName){
           String aLine;
           File file = new File("data/" +  fileName);
           try{
                   FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(file);
                   BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(fis));
                            while ((aLine = br.readLine()) != null){
                            names = aLine.split("|");
                           br.close();
         }catch(IOException e){
               e.printStackTrace();
    }-class Login.-
    public void getAuth(){
         for (int i=0; i < FileHandler.getNames().length; i++){
         System.out.println(FileHandler.getNames());
    Or have I misunderstood how split is working?
    Greetings Magnus

    ProjectMoon wrote:
    Good enough. The | character has a special meaning in regex. So, if you want to actually split on the character itself, you need to escape it. Thus, you get "\|". However, that's not a valid escape sequence in Java itself. It is valid for >the regex engine though. So, you wind up with an escaped \, thus getting "\\|".Thank you. And just to make it clear. the same would go for the "&" and "!" then I guess.

  • How to delete the one of cost centers in Splitting Structure(OKEW)?

    Dear All,
    I have a question about Splitting Structure as below? Could I get favor from you? Thanks a lot.
    How to delete the one of cost centers in Splitting Structure(OKEW)?
    Jocha

    Hi Chang
    Welcome to SDN! Its our pleasure to help you here
    Step 1: Select your Cost Center in OKEW which is assigned to the Splitting Str
    Eg: Cost Ctr 1001 is assigned to Splitting Str Z1... Tick the Check box against 1001 under Z1 Splitting Str
    Step 2: Do a Single Click on the text "Non Assigned Cost Centers"
    Step 3: Press Shift +F6 (Or Click on the Assign Button, next to the Pencil icon)

  • I need to split up a folder of 80,000 emails in order to run rules

    I just switched to SpamSieve, and now I want to re-examine all the spam that I have. (I know, it's insane. Don't ask.) But if I try to do anything to all the email at once, it just stalls or crashes outright.
    So I found that the laborious process of grabbing a chunk of them, 1500 or fewer, and moving to a different folder allows me to process them. But of course, the process of grabbing and moving is ridiculously slow and obnoxious.
    I started to try and come up with some kind of automator action, and quickly realized that that would require some major annoying time and hassle, assuming i could make anything work. (I'd like to be able to tell it to grab the first 500, make a new box, move to that box, grab first 500, etc. over and over until they were all done. Then write something that would run the rules on the boxes. It would be nice...)
    I thought I had the perfect solution, the Big Mean Folder Machine. I used it to go through the mail folder in question and split them into folders of 1000 messages each. I hoped and prayed when I reopened Mail, they would be there. Well, they were, but they were there as the "white" folders that don't show anything inside them, and the top level folder still showed all the mail in the one mailbox.
    HELP!
    Any ideas?

    Multiple pop accounts, all on my actual computer, the folder of mail is about 512MB. It's not the inbox, it's a box I made to move the junk to because SpamSieve needs junk filtering to be off, which makes the Mail junk folder disappear. So I moved all the messages at once to a new box I made.
    Last night diddling around with it I managed to figure out that one key is making sure the new folders of mail are inside folders called "Messages" inside mailbox folder and the mailbox folder needs to have a plist file in it. I was messing with importing and I discovered that and actually managed to import one finder-created folder as a proper mailbox by doing that. Now ask me if I can remember everything I did that finally made that work? Because of course the key is the plist sitting in the mailbox fodler next to the folder called "messages" - some part of my messing around created that, not me. But I don't know what...

  • Split one salesorder item into two items in delivery

    We want to split one salesorder item into two different items in the same delivery.
    This is because we will pick the material from two different storage locations.
    Any user-exit to use for solving this?
    Best regards,
    Terje

    Hi,
    We are not using batch management.
    I have looked into the foreign trade/customs standard functionality in SAP, but I can not see that them difference in stock in SAP what is duty paid or not.
    We need to have documentation in the system for the custom goverement for what stock is duty paid and not.
    For the same material we can have stock which are duty paid and not duty paid. This is decided when we do the goods receipt.
    For stock coming from Asia, it is profitable to have this on not duty paid stock since we are exporting it back to Europe and Asia later.
    We will send import and export EDI messages to a third party custom application handling all the papers with the custom goverement.
    The only we need to make track on in SAP is the stock for what is duty paid and not.
    In some situations we need to take stock from both duty paid stock and not duty paid stock when we deliver the same material to a customer. Therefor I asked the question of splitting one delivery item into two items.
    Best regards,
    Terje

  • Exchange 2007 Split-Delivery

    Hi,
    One of the child domains in our Forest wants to move to Google Apps (GA) for email and I have some question about split-delivery from Exchange 2007.
    The child domain's smtp domain is bluecrayon.com. I think the steps are:
    Change bluecrayon.com from Authoritative to Internal domain
    Create a send connector for bluecrayon.com address space to send to the GA smarthost.
    If both the bluecrayon and default (*.*) send connector both have priorities of 1 Exchange should favor the bluecrayon connector for bluecrayon.com mail, correct?
    For MX:
    GA is able to forward unresolved recipients to our Edge servers.
    Shouldn't I then point the external bluecrayon.com MX to GA, which would then forward to our Edge servers?
    Is any configuration necessary on the Edge to receive bluecrayon.com mail from GA or is this covered because bluecrayon.com is listed as an internal relay domain?
    Lastly, how is a mail loop prevented if a bluecrayon.com address isn't found on Exchange or GA?
    Thank you,
    Robert

    The more specific send connector, i.e., the one with the bluecrayon.com address space, will take precedence regardless of cost.
    It makes sense to change the MX record because it will get your server out of the loop, since it really doesn't add any value.  Don't forget to add the appropriate GA strings to the bluecrayon.com SPF record.
    No change to the Edge is required for exactly the reason you cite, but changing the MX record makes this moot.
    You would need to change each mailbox to either a mail user (if the user still needs domain authentication) or a mail contact, each with a @bluecrayon.com target address if you still want them in your GAL.

  • Split/Join, Invoke Service and SOAP Header in osb10.3 wls10.3

    Hi gurus,
    Are Split/Join able to invoke external services with a custom SOAP header?
    I have a split join to call 2 external business services in parallel. Those 2 external services requires a custom SOAP Header
    <soapenv:Header>
    <v1:ConsumerRequestHeader>
    <v1:requestSessionID>TEST_1</v1:requestSessionID>
    <v1:requestTimestamp>2011-06-16T16:57:54.943+02:00</v1:requestTimestamp>
    </v1:ConsumerRequestHeader>
    </soapenv:Header>
    All WSDLs were configured by the instructions of this link : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/eclipsehelp/tasks.html#wp1150628, but in my debuging, the SOAP header is disappeared when calling those external services from the splitjoin. (No problem if designing and testing with the ProxyService. but Proxyservice is useless here because of parallel processing)
    When designing with OSB Workshop IDE, there is no way to pass the custom SOAP header to the "Invoke Service", only the body request/response message.
    My question is, Split/Join automatically uses its header to pass it into the invoke call ?
    Please advise...
    Thanks,

    see this :https://forums.oracle.com/thread/951618
    not the most fancy way, but you can create some sort of  wrapper proxyservice in front of your business service to make it work

  • Split Valuation with two Standard Cost

    Hello,
    I have one question regarding split valuation where i need to keep both the valuation type as standard price, in that case how to calculate and release cost for valuation type. Logically keeping both is not pheasible. But want your experience how this is beed handled by others.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    If one material has split valuation, standard price will be released only for header segment (valution type blank). You have the possibility to release standard price for in-house production segment, if you set the 'Default'-flag in the customizing transaction for splitted val. (OMWC) for the val. category 'X'.
    Please read the note 552486 that contains information about this context.
    Alternatively you might create a mixed cost estimate to release prices for each procurement alternative that is associated with a val. type.
    The only way to mark and release a standard costing per valuation type is by using the functionality of mixed costing. That means that you have to define a quantity structure category and define a procurement alternative based on a valuation type of your material. Afterwards you have to define a mixing ratio for your material and the defined quantity structure category.
    Based on this master data (procurement alternatives and mixing ratios) it is possible to carry out a mixed costing, one part of this mixed costing should be a cost estimate based on your valuation type. If you mark and release the mixed cost estimate the system will set the standard price on valuation type level (prerequisite: you have defined the procurement alternative based on the valuation level).
    regards

  • Split Audio Broadcast Levels

    Hey, guys. I'm cutting my first project for broadcast, and I have a question about split audio levels. My sequence is set to the usual -6dB ceiling, but when I convert from stereo to dual mono and split the music and dialogue tracks, the levels suddenly jump up 6 dB. Why is that? I've had to lower everything to -12dB in order to compensate, and I want to make sure that I'm doing it right.
    Also, do I need to pan the bars and tone, or should I leave them in stereo?
    Thanks, and happy holidays.

    Well, it is true that every broadcaster has different specs for audio. Once had to do a show for Starz that also aired on MSNBC and local NBC... the specs for all were different. Video and audio...all different. Made it kinda expensive to deal with...almost restrictively so. We had to tell them that for this to be economical we needed a consensus... and they gave us some leeway.
    Thank goodness.
