Question - is it possible to view Lumix G5 .rw2 files using Lightroom 3.6?

I'm not great with IT. I've just about worked out how to use Lightroom 3.6 with my Canon images, then gone and blown it by buying a Panasonic Lumix G5, and Lightroom cannot read its RAW files. I downloaded Camera Raw 7.2 as the forums seemed to suggest but Lightroom 3.6 still can't handle the rw2 files. Should I have done something to link the download to the Lightroom program? It shows in the program list on the "start" button.
Not sure whether it is just not possible or if I have done something wrong. Any help appreciated. thanks.

If you can't upgrade, then converting to DNG is the thing to do. The raw data is re-compressed losslessly in the DNG file, i.e. preserved exactly.
Editing DNGs in LR3 is essentially the same as editing the original raws.

Lumix TZ70 RW2 files

I have just purchased a Panasonic Lumix TZ70 and found that the RW2 files are not currently supported by LR5.
Please advise when the update to LR will happen.

The new DNG converter (8.8) now supports TZ70 files, if you are still interested. I expect LR5 will do so with the next update.
EDIT: Having just downloaded it it doesn't seem to recognise the RW2 files. Will keep you posted.
EDIT: It's works fine. You select the source FOLDER, not individual files. You can't see the files.

CS4 raw support for Lumix LX5 RW2 files

It appears that the new Camera Raw Adapter 6.2 that supports the new Lumix LX5 raw files is not compatible with Photoshop CS4. Does this mean I will never be able to process LX5 raw files with CS4?

There are other benefits to using DNG besides backward compatibility if you haven’t explored those:
The metadata, keywords and RAW adjustments are stored in the file – along with a processed preview of the image. This makes the file portable and keeps your metadata safe and secure.
DNG files are smaller than the original RAW file which will save you disk space and time in the long run.
DNG is an openly specified file format which means the file format isn’t going away. So if you use another RAW processor that supports DNG, you don’t have to worry about compatibility or portability of your metadata.

I am unable to view or download PDF files using Firefox that used to open automatically.

Reading some of the other comments on the support site I wonder if in my haste in making sure I didn't get that malware virus if I didn't perhaps accidentally delete a necessary plug-in for Adobe Reader? I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you!

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extension) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Unable to View or Hear a File Using Premier v12 that Was Made with Trial Version 11

Dear Assistance,
About a year ago, I compiled video into a file using Trial Version 11.
It sat on my computer for about a year.
Recently, I purchased Premire 12 (on a different computer)
I then copied the file I made using Trial v11 to dropbox.
I then opened the file and it automatically loaded onto my v12.
However, I cannot hear any audio.
Also, there is no video. Instead, I see a red square image (with text on the far left - some of the text is english and some of it appears Chinese. The English says Media off-line.
Please help me. I really need to be able to play this video and make additional edits to it.

The iPhone does not natively support those file types, but there are probably third-party apps that can. Search the iTunes Store for "mpg" or "mpeg" and "WMV".

Lumix GX7 RAW files incompatible with Lightroom 4.4?

Hello,
I have used Lightroom 4.4 successfully with Lumix GF1 .RW2 files but I just discovered Lightroom 4.4 does not recognize Lumix GX7 .RW2 files.
Do I need to upgrade to Lightroom 5? I checked for updates on 4.4 and I am up-to-date.
Any advice would be helpful.

Here's a little more information on what I am trying to do.
I have a desktop computer with 4tb worth of pictures that has Lightroom and Photoshop on it. I also have a laptop with Photoshop and Lightroom. I would like to be able to edit those same pictures with their current edits that are currently on my desktop on my laptop. If this can be done, I'm sure I need to be on the same wifi network for my laptop to be able to access my desktop's photo library. I am technically savvy enough to map a network drive, but how do I get my two Lightroom catalogs to sync when I make a change on one of my computers? Would i be working only on one catalog? Or two separate catalogs that would need to be manually synced to the other computer? Would it be beneficial to put my lightroom catalog on something like dropbox?
I'd appreciate any information or tutorials if someone knows how to do this.

I do this by having my LR catalog and photos on an external drive that I swap between the two computers. I am on Windows and have the same drive letter assigned to the drive on both computers.
Because the photos are on a portable drive I back up the portable drive to another hard-drive every night or after important work, because portable drives are susceptible to damage or loss.

You can fetch data from multiple lists in ListViewWebpart, this can be possible through Content Query web part or Custom Web Part using visual studio but in that case you can not get the standard SharePoint funcationality for list (which is available in
ListViewWebparts).
No OOB filter available for multi-choice column, you also have to go with custom solution to achieve this.

There are more than one Applications folders. At the root level of your system is an Applications folder for all users, where most installations go. Every user, including you, also has a separat Applications folder.
Check all of them.
