QUESTION NOT YET SOLVED

Question

i have table snp_op_detail in payman shema, I have another table organisation_t in hrman schema. i want to select payman.segment3, hrman.descr, hrman.leader and SUM(payman.period_activity_a). I also want the total of payman.period_activity_a, not subtotal. where payman.segment3 = hrman.org_member_id. I used rollup as given below, it gave me 3 copies of the same row.
Question: How can I get total without using rollup? my boss doesn't want the triplicate rows.
select a.segment3, b.descr, b.leader, sum(a.period_activity_a) from payman.snp_op_detail a,
hrman.organisation_t b
where a.segment3 = b.org_member_id and
a.segment3 between 4000 and 5999 and
a.segment2 != 6651 and
