Question on Adobe Flash Player on iPad

Hi there!
I'm planning on buying an iPad mini in the new year. But i wanted to ask whether is there any way possible to download and install the latest (and last) Adobe Flash player version for an iPad?
* I'm well aware Flash is dead but some apps and websites still require it to function properly or to view properly.
Please advice. Thanks.

As a browser add on, flash is not supported on ANY iOS device (never has been). There are a few apps in the app store that provided flash to iOS compatable conversion of flash content on the web, but with mixed results. A couple of the apps are iSwifter, Photon, and Puffin, but there are others.
You could also check for Apps for specific sites.
But if Flash is critical for you, you probably will want to reseach other devices, keeping in mind Adobe has ceased all development of flash for mobile devices, including Android.

And yet the most common asked for feature is adobe flash.
just compare the posts on this forum alone, can you find a more asked for feature?
You guys been claiming the death of flash since 2007. Yet today Google and Microsoft both are baking it into their browser.
This site was created less than a year ago, http://www.pottermore.com/ by one of the wealthiest people on the planet, and it uses Flash, what is your excuse for them not using something else? Is she stupid? can't afford it? I'd say it's because it's the best platform for the job.
You will also need Adobe® Flash Player 10+ if you want to experience everything that Pottermore has to offer.

  • Can I get adobe flash player on iPad

Hi can I get adobe flash player for iPad  some websites require it

You can't. iPads do not support Flash.
There are however browsers that support flash. You might want to search the App store for Puffin, Skyfire, Photon  etc... They support Flash and may be able to run the site you want to view. But there are no guarantees, as its not 100% accurate.

  • What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?

What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?

Until Adobe can develop a version of Flash that works for mobile devices that is stable and doesn't hog memory resources or ***** up battery life, there isn't much anyone can do about this!
Android devices claiming to run Flash are having these issues, too. Steve Jobs and Apple simply won't allow Adobe Flash to with their mobile hardware/software with the state of affairs with Flash, now. If Adobe has a breakthrough and can develop a version of Flash or some sort a content providing software that works and plays well with mobile devices and platforms, the situation may change. For the foreseeable future, Flash is going to be absent on current and future Apple mobile devices.
On another note, PPC Macs are obsolete technology that is, at least 6 years old. OS X 10.5 was the last Mac operating system to still support PPC Mac architecture. This OS is , at least, 3 years old. OS X 10.4 Tiger is, at least 5 years old.
You can't expect either Apple or Adobe,or any hardware/software manufacturer/developer, at this time, to keep supporting older technologies. Especially, anything 5 or 6 years old or more. It's just not cost effective or practical.
Technology marches on. There are many of us, probably, still using PPC Macs, including myself. We're all in the same boat.
At some point, we're going to have to play catch up to the latest and greatest to be able to stay current on the grid and to be current with new technologies, hardware, and software.
I do not think this is a rational reason to jump ship on a company who, arguably, makes the best technology hardware/software integrated devices and computers in the world.

  • Why does not Adobe flash player for iPad ,This is a very big problem

Why does not Adobe flash player for iPad ,This is a very big problem ,I do not know why Apple is so Popular

but Adobe is, in fact, continuing to update Flash for Android.
Only essential bug and security fixes. No new feature updates have been released for 2 years.
Of course we have those who wish fervently that the lack of Flash supprt will damage Apple severely and obsess about it all the time.
I thought they'd realised it was a lost cause ages ago... they mostly seem to have disappeared from this forum, at least...

  • Adobe flash player on ipad

Does Apple plan to ever allow IPad to use Adobe Flash Player?  Why is it allowed on my macbook but not on other devices?  Anybody know?

Ask Adobe why they have stopped all devlopment for Flash on mobile platforms.
It is not an Apple problem.
    To answer your question, never.

  • Download adobe flash player to iPad 4 using puffin web browser

Good Day, I am new to iPad4 and want to install Adobe Flash Player; Youtube suggested Puffin Web Browser and Icannot download it.
    Please help,
    EM

You can not install what does not exist.
There is not now nor ever been flash for iOS.
Adobe has ceased development of flash for all mobile devices.
Third party browsers offering flash support redirect all your traffic through their server, converting the flash to something viewable on the iPad.
Skyfire has quit that business because of not enough demand.
Swifter, photon and puffin should still be available.
If you can't find it in the store, it's not available to you.

  • Adobe flash player for iPad

How can I get adobe flash player for iPad

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
Apps that can display some Flash from the Web:
      1. Puffin
      2. SkyFire
      3. Photon Flash
      4. Browse2Go
      5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

  • Can I download adobe flash player on iPad?

Would like to watch some tv shows online that require adobe flash player. Can I download it on my ipad2?

Adobe Flash Player is not and probably never will be available on any iOS device since Adobe has stopped development on all their mobile versions. Look in the iTunes Store for an app for that web site/network.
    Regards.
Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base, before you post a question.
