Question on Customer Accounts Transfer

Hi,
Is there a way to transfer customer accounts from one operating unit to another? We have a requirement to transfer some of the customer(s) accounts from canada org to US org and evaluating various options. Really appreciate any pointers.

Hi John,
I have the same problem. When I process the IDoc through WE19 in visible mode, the customer is created - no problem. But when I process the same IDoc through WE19 in background mode ,then the IDoc fails with status 65 stating that "Cross-system company code 0001 does not exist."
The first IDOC has also status 65 but final status is 51. Is there a piece of config that I am missing to set up the company codes? Did you fin the solution?.

    Hi I am currently working on setting up direct debits of customer accounts.  Does anyone have a recommendation of a book that they found helpful for getting the configuration setup or good reading from the user side?  (We are using ECC 6.0). 
    Also I have a couple of generic questions regarding F110 and Terms of Payment:
    1.  Do you recommend using the Terms of Payment to set the Payment Method?
    2.  In general do you use Terms of Payment with an immediate Due for this Payment Method?
    At this point in time I have gotten the program to work, but would like to understand it better!  Thanks for any help.

    Raj - and everyone else who is looking this issue is resolved.  The Bank sent an incomplete specification.  I can create the outgoing wire transfer - code  22 is the appropriate Checking Credit Code on the 6 record

  • SAP table for customer account balances by document currency

    Hi experts,
    We have a requirement to produce a monthly customer statement by customer currency or customer's document currency. Example is that the company code local currency is USD and the customer currency is EUR. The customer will be allowed to carry over a balance to next period under a certain threshold so there will be a carry over beginning balance from the previous period which needs to appear on the statement. Transaction FD10N only displays customers balances in the local or company code currency which is USD in this example.
    Question: Does anyone know if there is an SAP table that stores period beginning balances by customer account currency or customer's document currency?   
    We have not been able to find one and want to get additional input prior to building our own custom table.

    Hi:
        Make use of BAPI_AR_ACC_GETKEYDATEBALANCE to calculate customer opening balance. You need to develop Z report using table BSID and BSAD other SD related tables . There is not SAP standard report that shows the customer opening balance as carried forward from previous month.. You can make alteration for for showing balances in document currency.

  • How To trigger last page in sap script of customer account statement

    Hello all,
    I am working on customer account statement.
    It has it's own standard script(F140_CUS_STAT_02). But my client's requirement was completly diffrent,so i copied that to z script and made some changes like delete some window and some another window.
    Now on first page , i have following windows,
    1) Header
    2) address
    3) main
    4) Account
    5) Footer.
    Next Page having following windows,
    1) Header
    2) Main
    3) account
    4) footer
    Now i want to print account window on lsat page, so i put the condition nextpage = 0.
    and it is working fine , but as account window is physically present after Main window , so that much blak sapge is getting creted after main window on every page.
    To remove that blank space i am thinking of creting one more page and everytime i want display account window on that page.
    I have creted the last page also. but in my output it not detecting that last page.
    For First page - next page is next.
    For Next page - next page is next.
    for Last page- next page is last.
    Also i have added following code at last in  main window.
    /: NEXT-PAGE LAST.
    But i think i am placing this code at incorrect position in main window.
    I am not able to find out the correct podition to put the above code,but main window of that script conataing so namy text element, and that text element are getting handled from driver program based on some conditions.
    I have added my code in main window but not changed the original code.
    Plz let me know where to write /: NEXT-PAGE LAST. in main window.
    Or provide me some another solution to trigger thet last page in sap script.

    actually in account window i have used tha box command to print account statement.
    Previously i was printing this account statement in main window itself but without using bottom and end bottom command.
    So , as i made some changes or add some code in main window then lines of this account statement  were getting dismental.
    So my question is using bottom and end-bottom command this will happen or not????

  • Credit Memo is posting Debiting Customer Account instead of Crediting

    Hi Gurus,
    When i use SD Document Category "K" (Credit Memo) for Sales Order type "Credit Memo", first system shows all figures with Negative Sign "-" during my Pricing Condition maintanence at line item level of an Order (Credit Memo).
    Second and most importantly, System is posting the figures as "Debit" to Customer Account when i do the billing for the Credit Memo.
    If I change the SD Document Category to "C" (Order type), only then System Post the figure as "Credit" to Customer Account.
    But the problem is, i cannot use SD Document Category "C", because SAP would not let me reverse the Billing Doc, as it looks for SD Document Category "K" and hence the incomplete Reversed Credit Billing Doc would sit in VFX3.
    Pls advise, how can i fix/configure system with SD Document Category "K", so that, Figures are posted as "CREDIT" to a Customer Account.

    Check the T.Code: VKOA, OBYC & OB40 settings for account determination.

  • Is it possible to link several vendor accounts with a customer account?

    Hello,
    We have linked a vendors with his corresponding customer, so in FBL5N report, when inside this customer, we can see all of the receivable items of him as a vendor.
    The question is: We have a customer account  number that corresponds to several vendor accounts numbers. Is it possible to link these several vendor accounts with the customer account ?
    We only want to see in FBL5N report both customer and vendors items.

    It is not possible since Vendor and customer should be 1:1 and not 1:N
    If you require clearing between the customer and vendor, the following requirements must be met:
    The customer number must have been entered in the corresponding vendor master record.
    The vendor number must have been entered in the corresponding customer master record.
    The fields "Clrg with vend." or "Clrg with cust." must have been selected in both master records.

    Could you help me with these questions on the configuration of valuation method assigned to valuation area:-
    1. Significance of "determine exchange rate type from act bal" and "determine exchange rate type from invoice reference". How is exchange rate type determined at account balance? Is it that for regrouping of customer / vendor accounts it is required to detrmine exchange rate type from account balance?
    2. What is the significance of valuation area in regrouping? Can i not use the same valuation method mapped to valuation area as configured for foreign currency valuation i.e EVR (standard SAP)?
    3. What are the valuation method settings for US GAAP and IFRS for regrouping?

  • Restructure Customer Account Groups and Number Ranges

    We already have existing customer account groups and number ranges and therefore customer accounts.
    We need now to restructure Customer Account Groups incl. number Ranges and Number Range Allocation.
    Is this possible? Any advice?
    Can a customer keep is old customer number and be assigned to the new customer account group, which has a different number range?

    i want to transfer the balance of one customer to another, when i am posting the balance it is not asking for any profit center and that balance is going in dummy profit center. how to post the entry .please guide.

    Since the customer is created at client level, you need to have/operate a clearing GL to transfer the balance from one customer account to another so that the profit center is inherited to cutomer account from the clearing account.
    Customer A/c Dr
    Clearing A/c (with profit center)
    Clearing A/c Dr (with profit center)
    Customer A/c Cr
    Or you can do trnasfer posting with clearing.

    In SAP Deposits Management in the new platform, we have the node Financial Services both in Easy Access and IMG under which we have the major functionalities like Account and Product Management. However this is unavailable in ECC 6.0. Request you to clarify whether these functions are available in SAP ECC 6.0 under SAP Bank Customer Accounts.

    Most industry consultants from the banking practice are contributing and posting there.
    The straightforward answer to your question is
    No, the nodes published for the "banking services from SAP" process platform (Deposits/Account Management, Analytical Banking) are not published again in ECC 6.0.
    Installation procedures, components and licenses are completely different.
    This is due to different architectural design, IT and banking business requirements.
    The node Financial Services is one application platform (the most recent application release is 7.0 on NetWeaver 7.11) that comprises
    + transactional banking with the components for managing, posting to and servicing of current accounts, savings, deposits, loans, collaterals and hierarchies of accounts for purposes of cash & liquidity (cash pools/sweeps) and global limit management
    + analytical banking with the components for managing risk, ALM, analytical (bank-unit-internal) limit and BASELII requirements.
    The single-purpose application component of Bank Customer Accounts on ECC does not handle this variety, yet focuses on current and yield account/demand deposits for special-purpose banks/financial institutions.

    We do not link recon account to the customer account grp.
    account group controls
    1) the interval for the account numbers
    2) whether the number is assigned internally by the system or externally by the user (type of number assignment)
    3) whether it is a one-time account
    4) which fields are ready for input or must be filled when creating and changing master records (field status) we control the field of recon account from the account group.
    we will assign the recon acc when creating a customer master data so that
    (When you post to a customer account, the system automatically makes a corresponding posting to the appropriate reconciliation account in the general ledger. This means that it is no longer necessary to transfer the figures from the sub ledger accounts to the general ledger before creating the balance sheet.)
