Question on Include/Exclude descendent nodes option during Exports.

In the descendents option below the top nodes page on Exports, I understand the a simple listing of nodes that you want to include or export need to be listed. When I did that, it asked me that the file should be placed on the server. Does that mean that the file should be placed on C:\hyperion\mdm or something like that?
Thanks in advance for the help.

The message simply means that the file should be located on a path which exists on the server (the machine which MDM is installed). If you went to the server and the directory C:\hyperion\mdm existed, and you placed your file in this folder then it would work. If you had the same folder on your PC, then it would not work if you placed the file in this folder on your PC.
The message wants to ensure you are aware that the application can only read files in a folder that it can access. It can't access folders on your PC.

  • How to include /Exclude products in customer catalog view.

We are using CRM 4.0 with internet sales applications (ISA).We have product catalog setup in webshop where customer/customer service team given access to view products based on the different product hierarchy.
This is enabled though creation of multiple customer views
Now we have a requirement that customer need to view only few product out of the product category level assignment but asper the current system if a particular product category is marked then it show all the product under the product category in hierarchy assignment
Which means assume there are 100 products assigned to a product category ID under customer view, but customer has show all the 100 products but he need to view only 50 products out of 100 products assigned
We need to find out if it is possible to include / exclude products from a customer view not based on the product hierarchy / category ID.
Is that possible? we tried Partner product range but not sure ...can anyone throw some light in it... please let me know if I'm not clear on this.
    Thanks
    Jegatheesan.

The app builder prior to 8.x was only designed to install the application you created. The actual instrument driver VIs should be included in the app but the IVI driver itself (the low level dll) is not. You should really include the installer for the IVI driver and not just the dlls. This is the .msi file that is on the instrument driver download page. If you are getting an error about VISA32, then it sounds like VISA was not installed either. I usually install VISA and NI-GPIB from the CD that comes with the GPIB board and I do this when I install the board into the computer. However, you can also include these installers with your app as well. On the Installer Settings tab, click the Advanced button. You have the option there of 'Run executable after installation'. The simplest thing to do is to create a .bat file that will call the other installers you include with the distribution. Don't forget that you also need the IVI Compliance Package so include that installer as well.

    Hi,
I know there is a way to determine why Forte includes plans in a partition

  • My question is about the 'Restore Backup' option on iTunes (Not 'Restore iPhone'). So, if I click on Back Up Now, then 'Restore Backup', would that go through the process of erasing everything on my phone as new then restore whatever iTunes has backed up?

My question is about the 'Restore Backup' option on iTunes (Not 'Restore iPhone'). So, if I click on Back Up Now, then 'Restore Backup', would that go through the process of erasing everything on my phone as new then restore whatever iTunes has backed up?
I do not want this to happen, as with previous experience iTunes doesn't restore a mirror of what the iPhone was when it was backed up as is the case with iCloud backups.
What I am trying to do is, as I've found a method on Youtube, there is an application where I can delete all the multimedia saved in my 'iMessages' so clear up some space. As doing that manually through the phone would take a lifetime. The method is to backup on iTunes, then using the backup created, importing that into the application then deleting the messages through that then restoring the phone using that amended backup.
So back to my question, would restoring through 'Restore Backup' just restore the backup internally or would it flush the entire phone and then restore the backup? And if it does so, what would be lost in the restore?
    Thank you all,
    Fahmid

iCloud should overwrite your phone with the data stored in your account, preserving your newer data.  However, to be sure I would go to Settings>iCloud and turn data syncing to Off before restoring the backup.  Then, after restoring the backup, turn the data syncing back to on, and when prompted about Merging with iCloud, choose Don't Merge.  This will ensure that the data in your iCloud account overwrites the data on your phone (which is your goal).
Also, you don't sync text messages with iCloud so you will end up losing your more recent messages when they are overwritten by the backup.

  • SQL to include/exclude groupings based on set relations of sub-groupings

    Hello clever people,
I am struggling to write SQL to enable me to include or exclude groupings (or even better sub groupings). It's taken a lot of SQL (using analytic functions) to get my data grouped as I wish (detail hopefully unimportant but basically trades grouped by date, desk, direction and asset).
I now need to be able to include/exclude groupings depending on what I can see within them. I have managed to come up with logic based on the sets resulting from "subgrouping" my groupings into accounts, the set elements being the orders they have participated in. I believe that if I only include scenarios/groupings where the account order sets intersect yet are not equal, then I should have the report I need.
Unfortunately I don't know how to code this in SQL.
Columns 3, 4 and 5 of the below simplified table are information/desired, so if we take the first 3 columns as an existing "table", let's call it GROUPINGS (which I have created using a SQL query), how can I code this to include the groupings where subgroup sets intersect partially, and exclude the rest? I want to see groupings 4, 5 and 7 only.
To get to the below has taken quite a lot of SQL already, so I'm keen to avoid having to join in back to itself if I can as the code will be a mess. I'm happy to post the underlying SQL but I'm not in my office currently so I can't now, I hope it isn't necessary anyhow.
Very grateful for any help, I'm completely stuck.
    Thanks
    Jon

  • Question related to enhanced interface determination option in ID

    HI All,
I am trying to create a 1:N message mapping and here are the steps which I have done.
    1. Created a Source Data type, Message type , Message Interface and activated
    2. Created 3 Target Data types, 3 Message types and 3 Message interfaces and activated.
    3. Created a Message mapping and Interface Mappings in Message interface and activated.
While creating the configuration(ID) i have to use the enhanced interface determination but my interface mapping is not getting reflected in the popup.
All of the above objects are created in a Customer Specific software components but however if i create the Message Mapping and Interface Mapping in SCV SAP_BASIS and Namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System then i am able to select the interface mapping through enhanced interface determination option during configuration.
What i wanted to know is do I need to create the Interface mapping in SCV SAP_BASIS instead of Customer Specific SCV.
    Regards,
    Swaroop

Which version of PI are you working on?We develop objects in customer SWC not SAP Basis.
Create Interface determination and add 3 operation mappings by using + button , write a condition if you required.I hope you created one Bussiness compoenent for Target.
