Si vous avez utilisé la commande Save As Template depuis Pages, il y a forcément un dossier
iWork > Pages
contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier
iWork > Numbers
contenant Templates > My Templates

opening my browser, I got, until yesterday, 9 screen shots showing my most visited websites. This service is provided by google toolbar. OPTIONS are set up to show this, but all i can get is a blank page or google search page.

• Smart folder "Most visited" position in bookmarks toolbar is not consistent among 2 synched firefox installations

I have Firefox installed on 3 devices:
- desktop, windows XP
- desktop, linux ubuntu 12.04
- android mobile, ICS 4.0.4
Latest updated version of Firefox (Italian) on every device. Installations use Sync to synchronize bookmarks, passwords and history.
I have set browsers to show bookmarks toolbar.
The probelm:
"Most visted" smart folder, should be the first item on the very left side of this toolbar.
When I switch from one desktop to the other one, most visited folders does not stay in his position, but I find it on the very right side of the toolbar as last item. If I drag it on the left, when I switch to the other destop, after a while, it goes again on the right.
I close the browser before changing desktop.
I tried to delet the smart folder, ad reset it setting the proper key in about:config section.
This does not fix the issue.
How can I have the folder remain on the left side, and this being consistent among the various installations?

Hi Kossa,
You can also check if the issue occurs in
Clean Boot. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
Besides, uninstall it and re-download
a fresh copy of FireFox to check the result. If the issue still exists, create a new user account to see if it occurs.
If the issue persists, you can contact Mozilla Support directly and use Internet Explorer (IE) during the time.

• How can I restore "most visited" to bookmarks toolbar on firefox 5.0 ?

I deleted it to tidy up tool bar , but another user has asked for me to put it back

Hi Georgina,
A newer version of Firefox will not bring back what you purposely deleted.
But if you are not displaying the Bookmarks Toolbar then you might want to display it because that is where the original is/was. (see additional comment at bottom)
'''First create a bookmark:''' and let's make it for 12 instead of 10
:Right click on your bookmarks toolbar, "Create a new bookmark". Use copy and paste to populate your bookmark from the following:
'''Name: ''' Most visited (12)
:'''Location: ''' place:sort=8&redirectsMode=2&maxResults=12
Use the "Add" at the bottom to create the bookmark, no peeking at the location, you won't see it.
Exit Firefox with "'''Alt+F'''" then Exit (don't use the "X" in upper right corner)
Left click on your what is now your "Smart Folder", and you should see the 12 most visited from your '''history '''-- nothing to do with bookmarks that you also have.
If you right-click on the "Smart Folder" you won't still won't see the location, unless you have an extension or a style to show everything. -- [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/user/52 David McRitchie]
If you are not displaying the Bookmarks Toolbar then you can display it with "Alt+V" to bring up the View menu then "T" for Toolbars, click to show checkmark next to the Bookmarks Toolbar.
You can make Firefox '''Firefox 5.0''' look like Firefox 3.6.19, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic [http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/firefox-problems.htm#fx4interface Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1, look like 3.6)]. I accidently deleted the Most Visited button from my toolbar and have been unable to find out how to restore this button. How do I restore the Most Visited button Please?

• Where can I find the Preferences for the Most Visited bookmarks folder on my Bookmarks Toolbar? I want to add more.

In the past, I was able to add up to 15 bookmarks, but when I downloaded Firefox for my new laptop in January, and moved my files from my old computer, this folder only shows 10, and I can't find where to change it.

Hi,
I tried that, but it should be a folder in the toolbar (not a bookmark) that opens with a list of the top visited sites. Currently, it reverted back to 10 from 15 on my old computer after I downloaded Firefox to my new laptop in January and moved my files from my old computer to my laptop.
When I created a new bookmark as you suggested, it opened up a window (not a list in a folder), and I got this message: Firefox can't find the file at place:redirectsMode=2&sort=8&maxResults=20. However, I'm not looking for a window to open. I already have a "Most Visited" folder with the 10 most-visited sites. I just want to increase the number of sites on the list in that folder.
Thanks,
Marsha

• How can I create a single button similar to "most visited" that will open all of my bbokmarks in the sidebar?

I'd like a single button similar to "most visited" that will open the sidebar showing my bookmarks rather than having to click view, hover sidebar click bookmarks. How can I do this?

You can drag the button that opens the Bookmarks in the sidebar from the View > Toolbars > Customize window on one of the toolbars.

• How can I alphabatize my bookmarks and still keep my most visited ones at the top?

If there are instructions for this I haven't found them.
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== not helpful

Sorry, there's no preference for sorting in that manner. Sort by Name doesn't account for the most visited, it's a straight alpha sort per folder. The Most Visited folder, on the Bookmarks Toolbar, is actually a separate algorithmic calculation based upon how often a bookmarked website is visited, and I believe that calculation includes all pages visited at that domain based upon the browsing history.

• I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open. I would select it again but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google on most visited list.

After updating AVG anti-virus, I encountered a problem on Firefox. I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open after clicking on it. I would select it again, even double click, but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google or yahoo from my dropdown on the most visited list and then click the website that I want to visit. I would like to do this in one step by just selecting a link from my history on the address bar and select a link instead of going to google and then writing the page I want to visit. What could be the problem? When going to the address bar to select a link to open, why does the site not open? Any help would be appreciated.

• From profile backup: Restoring bookmarks, most visited pages and reading list

Using the firefox mobile extension "Copy Profile" I have saved a copy of my profile to the sd card. Now I would like to restore selectively:
- bookmarks
- history
- reading mode saved pages
- most visited pages
While restoring the relevant files (using root access on android) helped, I am suffering from these probems:
- The order of the bookmarks is mixed up: I had ordered them with the desktop app. Where is this order stored?
- The "most visited pages" appears to be a random selection from the history.
Any ideas?

Solution was to copy the files mentioned here:
[[Recovering important data from an old profile]]
And here:
[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/950536 Extracting bookmarks from Android mozilla profile backup]
Important:
The file ownership of all files copied back into the profile directory have to be adjusted. On my machine they defaulted to "root" owner which prevented firefox from accessing them.
