Question on web survey?

Whats the Need of Supplier Web Survey. Is it related to SUS and ROS.

ROS is used to capture the information related to supplier registration.
Interested suppliers can visit the Purchasers website and using a URL can register themselves as prospective suppliers.
Based on the registration , the questionaries(can be configured) are sent ot the suppliers.
Suppliers can reply to the questionaries and based on them they could be created as BP(suppliers) in SRM server.
And these suppliers can be transferred to SUS system as SUS supplier.
I am not sure if you are considering these questionaries aspect as survey since it can be used to evaluate the vendors based on the answers before creating them as business partners in SRM Server.

I am planning to use the existing PA and OM structure from R/3 system to be use as the Recipients(Target Group Hierarchy)of the Web Survey/Questionnaire.

Also, I noticed there are 2 transactions to create Web Survey. SURVEY and USUR0. I have been using SURVEY to work on. When does USUR0 is to be used?

I know this question was done long time ago. I am new with surveys.
Did anyone solved the issue? I am facing with the same problem.
I have create by "ubds" transaction the entry for the aplication "UWS_SURVEY_FORM_SERVICE" and the class.
Then in the class via se24, I have created several methods.
When I choose extras -> Target group herarchy-> Import from aplication appears: "No suitable methods were found" .
I dont know how to do it, maybe is because the name of the method is wrong. Should this have any special name?

Management access and history for the Web Survey

I've two questions on the Web Survey.
1- Is possible the access on the Web Survey compiled from someone? If yes, what?
2- The History is managed?

Hi Marco,
1. there is no system supported history management. You need to find a process.
I implemented using direct update in the application. The link is part of the portal
knowledge management. To have a survey history the purchaser or supplier copys
the file and store it in the folder.
2. All these screens are BSP driven. The registration page creates the business
partner in SRM, why changes are extremly tricky, but I also do not see the need
to change the first page. In Prescreen vendors it is the same, propably possible.
The questionaires can be adjusted within SRM trx and somehow easily configured.
3. There are several tables, which in combination contain the questionnaire.
Have a look for tables starting with tuws, like TUWS_SURVEY.
4. HTML
5. No; a questionnaire does no have any attachment functio. You can attach
document to a prospect in the trx Prescreen Suppliers. The docs are linked to
the Business Partner, like the questionnaire as well.
6. Once the supplier submits the registration page, the questionaire is sent out
automatically. For getting the process running the web survey settings as well
sapconnect needs to be configured. The process is described e.g. in Guide for
Strategic Sourcing as well into sap.help for the process.

Web Survey & Analysis of Survey Result in BW

Hi,
I am creating a Web Survey Application using Survey Cockpit(Tcode SURVEY) in BW.
There is option available for "Analysis of Survey results" via Analysis function in Survey Cockpit in BW.
My question is in which data provider(cube or ODS), data is getting saved in BW once the survey reply comes back to BW system. From where the survey cockpit is fetching the data for Analysis ?

I am creating Web Survey with the help of the information on help.sap.com, for which you also sent me the link.
I know about the Cube and ODS . If you read the first statement of the link doc you sent me, it says
"You evaluate the results of a survey to learn how the answers are distributed to your questions within the target group. The Web Survey visualizes the result data with the help of graphical overviews." - Where does it save the result data?
The cube 0WS_C01 & Application Library are another options of evaluating the result data.

CRM Web Survey

Hello Experts,
I am trying to load Text master data for Web Survey. Zero records are found.
Also in CRM system in TCode RSA3 there are Zero records. But when I load Transaction data in the Cube the data is getting recorded in the cube. But even for Transaction Info Sources when I goto CRM system TCode RSA3 and execute the Data Source Zero records are found.
I am doing Web Survey for the first time is there any setting I am missing out on.
Kindly help. Point will be awarded.

Goto the tcode RSO2 and Enter the datasource name and then it will give the table name from which it is extracting data.

Active Event handler in Web Survey SAP-BI.

I am creating web survey in survey transaction. In change questionnaire section, when I insert event handler in the question for example TO POSTING the right mach code show u201CNO FUNCTION SELECTu201D.
I need programming o check the input field value of the question. I load application library and assigning an application library to a Survey the implementation badi UWS_FORM_RUNTIME , how explicate Sap Library u2013 Web Survey http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/02/739fe7a80746caa668958d558993ae/frameset.htm, but not function.
I have a question, As can I implement Exit, BADI, BTE or other way for checking the value in input field the question in the questionnaire the web survey and active the event handler.

I have exactly the same issue. I have created the class, I have assign the application library to the class via UBDS and the message appears with the error "no function selected".

CRM Survey Suite and Web Survey

Hi everyone,
I am new in CRM and have been assigned to investigate the possible ways to send surveyes to the customers/users.
In my investigations and readings, I have found that we coud use CRM Survy Suite or Web Survey.
Could any one please tell me what the difference is between the two?

AFAIK only the CRM Survey Suite is fully integrated into the CRM Campaign management. I think the easiest way to send surveys to customers and users is a mail form which sends out a personalized link to the survey.To make the survey available in the internet your basis admins have to configure the SAP Web Dispatcher as I've described in my Blog <a href="/people/gregor.wolf3/blog/2005/11/07/setup-sap-web-dispatcher-with-url-filter-on-suse-linux-90">Setup SAP Web Dispatcher with URL Filter on SuSE Linux 9.0</a>.

Web survey for Vendor Evaluation

Hello Experts,
I have created a web survey, and send it to supplier on his GMAIL ID. Now he can see the survey questionier on his GMAIL ID, but when he tries to submit survey using send survey button, nothing is happning. Means, Send Survey button is not working.
Please help what to do?

for the send survey button to work, you have to specify communication
type email, and an email address where the surveys will be sent.
For this kindly follow these steps:
1. Go to transaction SO50
2. Insert an new row and fill it with the folowing data:
   a.) Communication Type: 'Internet Mail'
   b.) Recipient Adress: (Here, you have to use the email-account of
       the SU01-User 'MAILADM'.)
   c.) Document Class: '*'
   d.) Exit Name: 'CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL'
   e.) Call Sequence: '1'
       (change the existing entry to have the value '2' in this field)
Also for the send survey to work, the recipient has to open the
attached htm file from the email with Internet Explorer and allow
activex content.

Question concerning Web Service Deployment

I have a question on web service deployment as it pertains to multi-client SAP systems.
I created and deployed a web service in the client that is used for the development of client-independent objects. There are no issues when calling the web service following deployment.
I am trying to use the same web service on the same SAP system, but on a different client. What is the proper way for accomplishing this? As of right now, the only way I've been able to do this is to open up the desired client and deploy the service again. I tried to take a transport and copy it to the other client using SCC1, but it failed since all the objects referred to client-independent objects.
Below is the URL of the WSDL that was generated via SOAMANAGER.

Client 120 is the client used for development and is where the web service was created and deployed. I would like to use the same web service, but in a different client.
I tried in changing the logon parameters of the web service using SICF, but the invocation failed. It only works if the client mentioned in the logon data matches the client specified in the URL.
I am assuming that SAP builds the namespace of the web service using the client specified in the above URL. If this is the case, then I will have no choice but to deploy this service manually in the other client.
Is something wrong being done or do I have to do the same deployment in the other client?

In Netweaver 7.01 (with SOAMANAGER) you can no longer deploy webservices via STMS.
You have to login in each client and create endpoints in each one.
It's a pain, but SAP says it's too risky to implement the solution via STMS or something like that.
There is a SAP note about this.

In the standard SRM Web Survey scenario, the experts submit questionnaire online. But our custmer want it offline.
So we use offline Adobe Forms, the problem is after we get the data by uploading the offline PDF, how we put the data into the standard Web Survey. Is there any function moudle , BAPI, class for this purpose? Is there any code example?

Envent Handler in Web Survey (SURVEY transaction)

Hi all,
I have made a questionnaire in the SURVEY transaction. Now I want to active an eventHandler in an InputField, but the second dropdown just put "No function selected"
Does anybody know how to put there an action to execute??
I heard about application library for Web survey in this link,

but I don´t know how to make an application library.Any ideas??

Thanks for your reply.
Now my old flow is: 1. The supplier fill his info by SUS(It is developed by BSP), then the system automaticlly send a mail(The mail contain a URL that lead the user to the survey form).
                                2. After the supplier receive the mail, and click the URL to open the survey form, when he fill all needed fields, then he click the button "SUBMIT".
my new new flow is 1. The supplier fill his info( include the survey info) in the third part web page and save the data.
                                 2. when he click "SAVE", my interface need to create a vendor with "ROS_BUPA_CREATE_PROSP".
                                 3. when I get the vendor's GUID, I need to submit the survey data.
My question is how to submit the survey data with ABAP code without web form environment.
Could you give me some suggestions or example!
