Question re: "Homepage:" field on the Info tab of Workgroup Manager

I have about 200 users on an Xserve running Mac OS X Server 10.6. I have written a php script that queries the ldap server to display an addressbook page of sorts on our internal intranet. I noticed that there was a "Homepage:" field available on the Info tab in Workgroup Manager when entering user information and since I was not using that field I decided to use it for the webcal location of my user's calendars so I could add that link to my addressbook page. I did not realize that as I was pasting the links in the Workgroup Manager decided to add a "/user_name" to the end each of them breaking my links.
I'm curious what the "Homepage:" ldap entry is used for and why the link I paste in there gets changed?
Also, if I select the text in that field and delete it after clicking Save the /user_name entry comes back (without the rest of the URL I had pasted there). The only way I have found to remove the entry completely is to click on the Inspector tab and remove the "URL" attribute. Am I likely to mess anything up now by removing that URL attribute or am I better off just leaving it there (so far I have tested with one user and everything seems ok so perhaps there is nothing to worry about here).

When I was attended a seminar at Macworld '07, the gentlemen demonstrating the various server tools used Workgroup Manager without a server, and made a point of telling us we could use it without a server. However, they neglected to mention if there was a way to duplicate the settings to other machines without them accessing OS X Server. I suppose I will have to do this manually at each machine, but at least I can still do it!

I deauthorized and then reauthorized my iTunes and this seems to have done the trick!

TS2776 iPhone 5, Outlook 2013, Windows 7.0 64-bit. Every time I connect my phone to my computer via USB, iTunes opens with the "accept our terms and service" then deselects the boxes checked under the INFO tab to sync my calendars, contacts...help?

I am connecting my iPhone 5 to my Windows computer via USB. This should open iTunes and start the sync process. Instead of iTunes opening, I get the iTunes service agreement to which I must agree. Then iTunes opens and begins to back up my phone. It is syncing my photos and music (although the music thing is another nightmare), but under the "info" tab in iTunes, the boxes of which functions I want to sync are no longer selected. Hence the computer and the phone are not sharing information. When I select the functions I want to sync, I must either replace or merge. If I replace, I lose the information I recently put into my phone. If I choose to merge, then I have duplicates of everything.
How can I resolve this problem? Why is iTunes acting like it doesn't know my phone?
I'm using an iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4, Windows 7 64-bit, Outlook 13, and the must current version of iTunes (because I've removed and reinstalled it twice already).

After you'd run the Configure Classic instance did you run in the statement as stated in 'Oracle® Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) Part Number E10421-05'?

I've completed an installation with the same steps (although I ran the config.bat file in as_1/bin rather than from the program files list and also I've the jrockit jdk installed)
I've found that this fails with the error;
INFO: This tool works only on Windows Platform. Exiting the program
Which is strange considering this is Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit
DISCO is running in the EM console but the URLs (as defined in the installation summary report) do not resolve properly. I was just interested to hear if you're installation was the same, this isn't the first installation I've done, they've all had a similar issue

I have just fired up a new ipad, and am not getting the "info" tab in the bar, so I can't sync my contacts from my address book on my macBook Pro ... ??

With Mavericks you won't get the Info tab, you use iCloud to sync contacts - from http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12117 :

There is no Info tab in Mavericks
if you use OS X v.10.8.5 or earlier. If you use OS X Mavericks v.10.9 or later, your contacts, calendars, and other info are updated on your computers and iOS devices via iCloud. For more information, see iCloud Help at icloud.com.

Where is the info tab in itunes

First Itunes gets corrupted and won't delete and re import then the info tab is missing.
Then on my ipad which has 5000 e-mails and no group delete - unbelieveable!

To put the album into one group, in the Albums view, select the album and right-click.
and on the pop-up menu, choose Get Info...
..."Yes"
You should also check on the Info tab and make sure that the Album Artist has "Various Artrists" in it.

Here in Is-oil we have invoice cyles. Provisional invoice, Final invoice, interested invoice, settlement invoice etc..
So in sales at first provisional invoice has been created than the final invoice based on the Provisional invoice.. and further invoices like interest invoice & settlement invoice ..
So here we are using 4 invoice cycle.. hence you have to define in the Spro-->industry solution -->oil & gas > cross component application>maintain the invoice cycle numbers... 4
And this data has to be used in Condition type
Spro--> industry solution -->oil & gas > cross component application> MM split invoice -->Enter the data in additional invoice .
These is the function of Material invoice cycle field...

Why after optimising media (AVCHD) does the info tab say the codec is the native codec and not ProRes 422?

I optimise media from AVCHD and the Transcoded Media files are created in the events folder in the finder. However, after importing has finished, I click on a clip in FCP X and then click on the info tab to see that the clip has the original codec. Therefore I guess I am not editing in ProRes. How can I switch?

What's pointing to the original media? What folder is it in? Is there a Transcoded Media folder? Does it contain a High Quality Media folder?

HT1692 How can I transfer my blackerry contacts to my new Iphone 5? I cannot find the info tab on my computer. When I go into Itunes I only get the music page.

I have tried uploading my blackberry contacts to Blackberry desk manager and tried to connect through to Iphone using Itunes but I cannot locate where the info tab is that I need to go into to sync my contacts? When I launch Itunes I just go directly to the music page. Also I do not see my device. It does sync my device when I plug this in but I cannot actually see the device. I have a requirement to add a new custom field to the assignments tab of the tcode KO01. This new field is not available in the structure CI_AUFK . Is it achievable via enhancement COOPA003 ? If yes , then how ? . A <removed by moderator> response would really be appreciated.

    You can use the CMOD transaction to create an enhancement project for the COOPA003 enhancement.
    You can use the SE11 transaction to create the CI_AUFK structure as described above. Transfer three fields into this structure and activate it:

NNot with the regular MY Photo Stream. You could use individual Shared Photo Streams instead for each iPhone, if the iOS versions support shared streams. upload to a shared stream is not automatic however. You will have to share them manually.

just updated to Maverick and the info-tab seems to be gone in iTunes 11.1.2 to sync to my iPhone and iPad!!?!?!
I guess we in europe think a bit different in using cloud systems and are not that easy willing to share our personal informations with the government.
so I am used to sync my Apple devices wired via iTunes and the info-tab gave me the possibility to check what I needed .... but now the info-tab is gone??!?!
is it just on my machine or is this a move to force people to share personal data to the NSA-Cloud?

why should I use or need software (and may be APPLE hardware), when APPLE just cripple software, remove a safe sync option, reign over my devices and my way of working. So I know that the info tab disappeared in Mavericks when it was launched but was then later re introduced after a load of complaints.
Does anyone know if the info tab is still there in Yosemite?
The reason I ask is I upgraded to Mavericks when it first came out but had downgrade to Mountain Lion to retain the ability to manually sync my mobile devices via a USB cable and don't want to have to go though all that again.

I have the new model Mac Pro. The only time I start hearing fan noise is when I play a game. Then I hear the fan from the video card.
Any of the cards that come with the Mac Pro can run two 30" ACD's. You will need one of the quite expensive mini DisplayPort to dual link DVI converters, though, unless you get the GeForce 285 card. I've heard there were some problems with the converters and the 30" monitors, so you might be better off with an extra (GeForce 120) video card if you're not going with the GeForce 285. (the extra video card would only be a bit more expensive than the converter..)
