Hi all,
I have a problem.
Before release CS6 I worked with CS5. Then I decided to try CS6, installed tryout. I liked it.
I was working on one project, so decided to give a try to a new Premiere CS6. Was almost at the end, when suddenly my trial licence expired...so I had no choice but to return to Premiere CS5.
Of course I couldn't open CS6 project in CS5, so I had to import sequences. Everything seemed to be ok, except this message "Video Filter Missing: AE.ADBE.SubspaceStabilizer." Yes I used Warp stabilizer on CS6 to stabilize shaky footage. How to remove it from my project? Any ideas?
I tried to make new sequence and paste into, but when closing and the reopening project I still get this message....
PS. Sorry for my English

  • Basic question about importing wma files

Hi, I have a basic question about importing wma files. I ripped some cd's on a Mindows computer using Media Player, but now want to copy them to my Mac and use them in iTunes on my Mac. when I use Import in iTunes, nothing happens and I cant even seem to copy them one by one using the Music folder.
    Can someone help me?
    thanks
    eMac   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

iTunes for Mac doesn't support .wma files.
If you can use a PC to convert them, you can use one of many freeware applications. Google for 'wma to mp3'.
For the Mac there's the shareware program EasyWMA that can convert them.
    Hope this helps.

  • Simple question on @import url

If I want to change from importing a style sheet from my server to included in the site direcory what changes do I need to make to:
    <!--
    @import url("mystylesheet.css");
    -->
    </style>
    Thanks, Tim

I don't use @import.  Let's say you want to keep all your stylesheets ordered inside a sitefolder like so:
    Site - yoursite.com (C:\yoursite)
       +Styles
              mystyle.css
              print.css
              mobile.css
         index.html
         about.html
Place this between the <head> and </head> tags
    <link href="Styles/mystyle.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen"/>
    <link href="Styles/print.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print"/>
    <link href="Styles/mobile.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="handheld"/>
    Does this answer your question?

  • Some questions about importing HTML files

    Hi, folks
Let's suppose we want to import a pack of HTML files formatted in HTML5 wit's it's CSS into a double-oriented folio. A couple or three questions about that, please:
    1. Is there a limit for a reasonable quantity of HTML files I can import into a folio? I mean.. 100 would be way too much, for instance?
    2. These HTML files could be navigated and referenced from inside TOC-pages made in InDesign, right? (navto://..., I gues?)
    2. Will it be possible, by means of HTML adaptative design techniques, to treat both orientations (vertical and horizontal) as different viewports or screen sizes so that the design adapts for instance the column width with its CSS?
    3. That said, will the InDesign final app. respect that adaptative CSS rules?
I am asking this because we are looking for a way to inject big quantities of content with a very similar design into our application in a really fast and automatizable way and I have the suspicion* that importing HTML5 preformated CSS files could be the a very good and simple alternative to importing XML into InDesign templates as we start out content as tagged almost-html files.
    Thanks a lot
    Gustavo Sánchez (Posting from Madrid)

I assume you are asking about using HTML articles.
    1. There is no limit beyond simply keeping things reasonable.
    2. Yes. Just use navto://articlename
    3. Yes. I've used min-width of 768 and max width of 1024 to control it.
    4. InDesign does not enter into any of this with the exception of using the folio builder panel. Everything else is done in Dreamweaver or whatever program you decide to use for the article.
If you want to restrict the HTML articles to one orientation or the other, use the _h and _v suffixes.

Hey I am facing a similar problem:
I have this jar file lbswebservice.jar that I have to use for my application.
I added it to the classpath, I copied it in my WEB-INF/lib folder, but when I try to access classes in this package, it doesnt work.
For example the jar contains the package com.blipsystems.lbs.ws.messages.* ; that contains different classes, like the Campaign class.
I tried to use this class (just to create an object) in different context (through jsp, or just through java test classes), but it never works, i get the error: com.blipsystems.lbs.ws.messages.Campaign cannot be resolved to a type

  • Basic question about import

I need to import an already existing user from a dmp file.
I am not sure if I must drop and recreate the user before importing or the import would drop all not existing objects, create the new ones, modify those that are different, insert new records, delete those not in the dmp file and update the different ones.
    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the advice from the other poster is
just plain wrong.I wouldn't classify it as "plain wrong", "not accurate" yes maybe, but not wrong.
The OP's question was that he needs to import already existing user with existing objects.
Quoting Oracle's online Documentation of Oracle Utilities, Import's IGNORE parameter:
    IGNORE
    Default: n
Specifies how object creation errors should be handled. If you accept the default, IGNORE=n, Import logs or displays object creation errors before continuing.
If you specify IGNORE=y, Import overlooks object creation errors when it attempts to create database objects, and continues without reporting the errors.
Note that only object creation errors are ignored; other errors, such as operating system, database, and SQL errors, are not ignored and may cause processing to stop.
In situations where multiple refreshes from a single export file are done with IGNORE=y, certain objects can be created multiple times (although they will have unique system-defined names). You can prevent this for certain objects (for example, constraints) by doing an import with CONSTRAINTS=n. If you do a full import with CONSTRAINTS=n, no constraints for any tables are imported.
If a table already exists and IGNORE=y, then rows are imported into existing tables without any errors or messages being given. You might want to import data into tables that already exist in order to use new storage parameters or because you have already created the table in a cluster.
If a table already exists and IGNORE=n, then errors are reported and the table is skipped with no rows inserted. Also, objects dependent on tables, such as indexes, grants, and constraints, will not be created.

  • Question about import in archive log mode

    Hello.
I am a developer, I have ordered to write a script that makes the import of a schema of a database (release 9.2.0.7). That import will be done once a day. I have seen that in my development environment the import creates 54 archivers files (10M aprox. each), that means more that half a Gb a day, it seems too much to me.
I cannot see why all those archivers can be useful. Would a good way of proceeding the following?
    1. Forcing an archiver just before the import (I do not know how to do that) so that a backup could be done to the state before the import.
    2. Disabling archive log mode during the import and enabling it just after the import (I do not know how to do that).
    3. Forcing a new archiver just after the import (I do not know how to do that).
    Thanks in advance.

    540M is not that much.
One would question why you need to import every day,
there must be better ways to do this.
The three steps you propose look like an awful
scenario, as it would require the database to switch
from archivelog to noarchivelog and vice versa.
This would require the database to close twice a
    day.
The scenario is also incomplete as one would need to
take a backup after the import
If you can convince your DBA to close the database
twice a day, he should write the script, which he can
    easily derive from the docs.
But likely he will visit Billy Verreynne to borrow
his lead pipe, and rightly so ;)
    Sybrand Bakker
Senior Oracle DBAThanks for the answer.
    A few things:
    - Sorry for my ignorance, I have no experience in database backups, I do not understand why I need to backup just after the import.
    - That database is not critical, it is just for a team who will test on that database several applications, so the database will only need to be open during the office schedule.
    - I have no dba. The client has a dba for several databases but I have no contact with him/her nor my boss has.

  • Checked FAQ: Question about importing into library, need some assistance.

    Hi,
I've done some searching and have yet find my answer. I hope that some of the sharpshooters here can help out.
I keep all of my music on a network drive to avoid "bloating" my Mac with music. So the other day, I wanted to use iTunes to catalog what was on there and to load some more music onto my 'Pod. So, I performed an import of the library. Here's my dopey question: When one imports into a library, does all of the music come over with it, or, does just the songs' data get imported and then point to the source drive? Does this make sense?
    TIA,
    Chris

I also keep my music and all on an external drive. Before you catalog it you need to do one important thing or it will copy everything to your computer. Go into the Advanced setting under Preferences and uncheck *Copy music to your iTunes Music folder when adding to library*. If you don't do this you will end up with your music trying to be put on your computers drive. You can then use this to update your iPod as it points to the original file and will bring anything needed to load on your iPod.

  • Questions on Importing an Enterprise Service Definition into PI via ESR

    Hi all,
I 've just created a service definition for BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2 and imported it into ESR and PI (steps below)
    1) ERP - Created a Service Definition for BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2 called ZSD_ACCOUNT_GET_DETAIL
    2) Configured the EndPoint in SOAMANAGER (tested the service works fine)
    3) Published the Service in ESR (cut and paste the WSDL URL into the Publish Wizard in ESR)
--- Question1 - is there a way to publish from ERP directly
       - (something simiar to how in PI Integration Builder you can publish a Sender Agreement
by opening the Sender Agreement and selecting Sender Agreement -> Publish in SR)
    4) Created External Definition for the Message Definitions in PI
        - I did this by downloading the WSDL from the  ZSD_ACCOUNT_GET_DETAIL in ERP
        - manually editing the WSDL to remove the policy defintions
        - Imported the external definition into PI
--- Question 2 - Is there an easier way to get the WSDL or XSD in ERP (e.g. from the BAPI without the policy statements)?
--- Question 3 - Is there a way for PI Enterpise Service builder  to import the definition straight from ESR (a menu option)?
--- Question 4 - Is there a way to export the WSDL from ESR to a file.
As I said I have it working but it definitely appeared to be a "clunky" process.
Any answers or tips in streamlining this would be appreciated.
    Cheers,
    John

    Hi Mark,
Thanks for your response. I was aware of the functionality and I appreciate the link.
In hindsight I could have used this to import the data structures into the Enterprise Service Builder, which answers Questions 1 and 2.
For Questions 3 and 4, I guess I'm still looking for a better understanding of how the service registry and the Enterprise Service Builder interact.
Right now I'm publishing the service in the service registry and importing external defintions in the Enterprise Service builder.
I think this is cumbersome and ideally would think that the Enterprise Service Builder could "pull" external definitions from the service registry.
Thanks again for clarifying questions 1 and 2. The updated question list is below.
    Regards,
    John
Question1 - is there a way to publish from ERP directly
    - no, instead use the import rfc and idoc functionality built into the Enterprise Service Builder
Question 2 - Is there an easier way to get the WSDL or XSD in ERP (e.g. from the BAPI without the policy statements)?
    - Rather than use the WSDL use theimport rfc and idoc functionality built into the Enterprise Service Builder
Question 3 - Is there a way for PI Enterpise Service builder to import the definition straight from ESR (a menu option)?
Question 4 - Is there a way to export the WSDL from ESR to a file.

  • Two workflow questions, (1) importing and (2) saving/exporting

Apologies if the below questions are too elementary. I've just started using Lightroom. I've been trying out various editing/organizing programs and I haven't yet found the perfect one. Can someone tell me if Lightroom is capable of the following:
    1. I shoot in Raw+Jpeg format. When I copy images from my camera to my computer, I always create a new folder that represents my event and put the jpegs in \Pictures\[Event]\ and the raw images in \Pictures\[Event]\Raw\. Is there a way to instruct Lightroom to perform this function through the import module, i.e. have a single import event that copies jpegs in an \...\[Event]\ folder while copying dng to \...\[Event]\Raw\ and importing only the dng files into my Lightroom catalog. Is this possible?
    2. Also, can someone explain how Lightroom handles edits? Say I've edited a dng in my library. Is the dng file changed on my computer itself? How about the jpeg (remember, I copy jpeg+dng to my computer)? Is there a way to instruct Lightroom to automatically (i.e. default behavior) overwrite the jpg file when any changes are made to the dng file, but prevent the dng file from being overwritten? What about instances where I also want to overwrite the dng - how do I accomplish this?
    Thanks.

    theNE0one wrote:
I completely understand and appreciate how Lightroom treats raw images. However, if I shoot Raw+jpg, what difference does it make whether or not the jpg file changes? If my raw file is untouched, I don't also need to make sure that the jpg remains in its virgin state...even if the majority of users prefer to keep both untouched, at least allow the option for people that want a different method of handling their files!
Lightroom has no feature to overwrite your JPGs automatically.
Might I suggest a workflow change ... shoot raw only, when you need a .jpg, have Lightroom export one for you.
If Lightroom handled Face/Places/Sharing well, I wouldn't need to mess with a second program (i.e. Picasa), but right now it doesn't look like it can handle what I want. I understand that I can use Metadata/Keyword tags to identify People and Places, and that there are plug-ins to upload to Picasa web albums, but these options aren't executed well enough in LR3 for me to give up Picasa. The plug-in doesn't work nearly as cleanly as the native Google program, and "Faces" is a chore in Lightroom. Picasa can automatically detect faces and makes tagging/organizing/working with images much easier. While I'm on the topic, can anyone explain why such a useful feature (that's available on free and basic image software) is not included in Lightroom? Is there any possibility that it'll be included in the final version of LR3? What about the upcoming Aperture 3? Is it that "Faces" is perceived as a basic consumer feature that isn't used in higher-end software? Will this always be excluded from this "class" of software?
Using LR3 Beta to decide whether the software works the way you want isn't a good idea. I'm guessing, but I don't know for sure, that the uploading to Picasa will work a lot better in the finished product. Hard for me to imagine a program being easier to tag/organize than Lightroom, and while I don't use Picasa, I can't see how it could be easier in tagging and organizing. It is my opinion (and you might think differently) that using two different organizing software programs on your photos is more trouble than it is worth, especially since you have to constantly "synchronize" the two different organizers.
No one here works for Adobe, and even if there was someone here from Adobe, they can't tell you what will be in future releases. We can only guess, and we don't know.
Finally, can you explain xmp? I've done some keyword tagging on my images within Lightroom. If I were to later use another program, would the keywords be picked up? From your explanation it sounds like there are two aspects to a file, the image section and the xmp section. Is the xmp section the part that includes information about the photo? I.e. settings, metadata, etc.??
Keywords that Lightroom writes to xmp should be readable by almost every other photographic application. But please be aware that Lightroom, by default, does not write keywords to the photo files. You have to specifically tell Lightroom to do so, by either turning on an option, or by using Ctrl-S on selected photos. Xmp includes all the metadata, which includes captions, keywords, Lightroom edits, and basically any information supplied by the user rather than by the camera.

  • Question on Import/export

I run the import command from the Command prompt. Then I try to find the database that was imported using the Database Administration tool but it's not there.
Does the database (name) you are importing have to exist before you import it. After you import it how do you ask to connect to it.
** What kind of information do you need to have about the file you are importing in order ti do a successful import?
    Thanks

I'm not sure that I understand your question, but I'll answer the one that I think that you asked.
In order to export from 8i and import into 10g you don't have to do anything unusual, the steps are the same as exporting from one 8i database to another.
    1. First the 8i and 10g databases both have to exist. That is 10g must be installed somewhere and an instance has to have been created. Import does NOT create databases.
    2. Run the export as normal, using either the 8i or the 10g exp program.
    3. If the target database has a different file structure than the source database, create the tablespaces with the tablespace_names referenced in the export in valid directories on the new database.
    4. Run the import using the 10g imp program.
    Does this clarify the problem?

  • Simple Question - Data Import

    Hi,
i have a simple question. Is it wise to change our actual import scenarios for input data from systems out of sap to XI?
Today we have the scenario that data from outer systems will send per ftp to a special directory. After that a report will transform the data into a batchinput. The btci will send per rfbibl into the system. Now we have a huge number of such reports. Will it now be better to change to XI, which we use perhaps for MDM?
Xi could take the file from ftp-srever maps the fields an will send per bapi to sap.
Is it a quite simple scenario or is batchinput still the better way.

    Hi,
If you have a scenario where you have different file formats , which needs to be converted and then send to different systems based on some conditions , then suggested is XI usage.
However, also if you already have XI installed and running for the MDM system , then you can think of routing all messages through XI.  It may make sense to use one system for all routing and data conversion puposes.
    Hope this view helps.
