Yes we can use the serial numeber in REM also
that is all depends on your scenario.
The scenario Repetitive Manufacturing is typically used where the products are being produced in repetitive environment with rate or quantity based planning and scheduling. Planning is often production line oriented. Material supply and production confirmation is is line and quantity based and typically less order oriented.
You use this process to create a production plan in repetitive manufacturing. The system creates one or more planned orders that have a direct reference to a sales order item on the basis of which the material is produced. I have the same problem, only Purchases in the App Store shows nothing. The download NEVER showed up in the App Store only in the Launchpad with a progress icon. The Icon said paused but when clicked, it just disappeared with no download.

Yes you can avail the discounted prices even you are upgrading the product just for two users. You can use the serial number for your Creative Suite 5 product.

No! Apple is not law enforcement and therefore does not have personal investigating lost or stolen property other than Apple's own.
Even if they had the information data protection laws would prevent them from giving it to you or anybody else including law enforcement.

Logic is the APPlication (program, app) that you are having the problem with.
Logic Pro can take advantage of other computers on your local (home or work) network to help it do "heavy lifting" data chores by using Bonjour and a feature called Nodes. It seems that Logic is attempting to find and connect to another machine on your network.
Do you have Logic installed on another computer there? That may be the source of the confilict.
You might want to post this question in the Logic Pro Community.
Be sure to indicate the version of Logic Pro that you are using. I'm sure the folks there can help you out.

I know there is something called as "Serial Number Profile" for Material/Plan Maintenance etc. But I'm wondering if something similar exist for Assets too. Can you tell me what is the transaction code/path for the same, if any?

Hi,
Bought a Macbook Pro from a student. Checked the serial number to make sure it wasn't stolen or anything.
Now I have hardware problems, but my serial number can't be found via https://selfsolve.apple.com/wcResults.do, which means the Service Center can't do anything.
The serial can be found via http://support.apple.com/specs.
Why can't my serial number be found?

Not weird if it's NOT an Apple Product as Apple has pointed out.
So you bought it from a Student not from an Apple store or Reseller. Did you see the Receipt for it? Do you know where whoever you bought it from got it?
Maybe it fell off the back of a trunk and Apple has written those serial # out of it's database which = No service or support.
