    I am subscribed to Creative Cloud but despite numerous attempts to update my payment information using different browsers and devices it appears my payment is not getting processed. Now I am getting emails from Adobe that my subscription will be cancelled. Tr
    ied ringing customer support (in the US) from the UK only to hear that there's a 2 hour wait! Jeeze I'd need a very good lottery win to pay for that phone bill! Is there any other way to get help? This is really frustrating and potentially a disaster as I use the Creative Cloud to host several of my websites... I most certainly don't want to lose them! The problem seems to have coincided with Adobe Customer Accounts being hacked. Mine was one of these and it was for this reason I changed my card!

  • Cannot install CC - and can't get help from Adobe

    I have had a problem installing CC.  After reading ALL the online comments and suggestions, I called Adobe customer support on Wednesday.  I was told that the problem had to be escalated and that someone would call me back in 24 hours.  When no one did, I called on Thursday and was told that someone would call me on Friday morning.  When no one did, I called again on Friday afternoon and was assured that someone would call me before the end of Friday.  I cancelled a dinner to stay home.  It's Saturday afternoon, and still no one from customer service has called.  I really hate being lied to.  I concur with many that Adobe may have the worst customer service of any U.S. firm.  So my question, should I just cancel my subscription that I've had for a week and not be able to use or still hang in there.  Is Corel still in business??

However, I want to alert you to the fact that I have done everything correctly to reach you and received no response until now. Firstly, I went to the iBird site http://www.ibird.com/ and clicked on Forum "iBird for iPhone". The forums do not let me post, but as you say there is also message about the forums being moved with a link to http://ibird.999.org . Clicking on that link, however, gives me a 404 error. The link you have provided is totally different that the one on your site. I would suggest that you fix that promptly.
    I did fill out the form on http://www.whatbird.com/contactus (twice) as well as sending Mitchell Waite an email by clicking on "Contact" on one of his iBird forum messages. Lastly, I submitted a problem to the iTunes store. I have received no responses to any of those queries until this one. I trust that this will solve my problem, but please do not imply that my difficulty in reaching you reflects any incompetence or lack of effort on my part.

     I should say if u could try to keep this simple as I am by no means a computer wiz!. Having said that I have a Verizon account & friend's of mine have AOL but for some reason we can not send email to each other as it keeps coming back.
     My question is why is this? I love Verizon but have never had this with any of the other providers I had. Is there something I need to turn off? & if so what & how?. I'm really lost as to why I can't send nor get email from AOL. If anyone could explain it but in a way I can understand it this would be great!.

    How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is?  They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about.  Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean.  Does it mean your desktop computer?  If so, which one?  Do they mean your device?  LIke your iPhone, iPod or whatever?  Do they mean the software ON one of your computers and/or devices?  If so, which program, and on which computer/device?
    We have three operational computers, one does not have iTunes on it.  Since Apple is saying I have more than 5 authorized computers, and I can't imagine what they are, I am afraid to deauthorize all my computers.  See what I mean?  I just wanted to ask the question about how I can find out WHICH computers Apple thinks I have authorized, so I can decide if it's safe to deauthorize them all or not.  I only know of 2 computers that have iTunes on them, so how can there be 5?  We also have 2 iPhones and 2 iPods in this family, but one of the iPhones has his own apple id.  He may have been using mine, since his computer died.  I read that those don't count as "computers" to the 5.  Do they, then?
    Help!  I can't contact apple because I have no idea what they mean about serial number.  I doubt they would help me anyway.  In order to get the serial number off my desktop computer (that has iTunes on it already), I will have to move furniture, so I don't want to if that's not it.  Is there some way to find the serial number in the software, either on my desktop or my iPhone?

    You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

Reading the threat, if apple doesn't like my comments or question I'm out of here doesn't instill a warm feeling. I've doubled the cost of my MAC with the software I've added. But if I don't talk nice you will drop me? How about you provide some help to fix your software problems and I will compliment you on how great you are.     If I have questions about using my computer I first check the Mac Help items, as you have done. I then do a web search as probably somebody has encountered the problem before. Even these discussions get included in the searched sites, and I have seen my own posts appear in a matter of minutes. There are other sites where Mac users post questions so there is a pretty large set of answers out there. Finally, if I don't see an answer anywhere I post a question here on the appropriate forum.
    You should realize that the forums are populated almost exclusively by other Mac uers and not Apple employees, but you still get pretty good answers by people who have been using Macs for years and years. Sometimes you'll stump us, but if you provide complete background information in your question I will usually see somebody take a stab at it.
    One thing you should note is that the Discussions, and even this Forum, is not an effective way for direct feedback to Apple about customer service, etc. (this feedback forum is for feedback about the Discussions). I almost never see an Apple employee respond on the Discussions since it is intended as a consumer to consumer interface. There are better ways to contact Apple itself listed on the [site map|http://www.apple.com/sitemap>.

    I have formatted my laptop, Reinstalled all my Adobe softwares and still the same problem continues.
    Photoshop sometimes gets stuck in between while working no matter what the file size and dimensions. Its not about lagging. The screen is just stationary and I can't access any of Photoshop's commands for the stationary period of some seconds or a minute. I can only minimize it. Photoshop even crashes at times.
    I have latest wacom drivers installed 5.3.5-5, Bamboo dock installed, and NVIDIA, GT 740M version 347.52. I have verified the problem with Wacom but they say the tablet doesn't have a problem. I have even tried using Intuos 5. When I use the zoom command with mouse the document zooms in and out continuously without any control.

    If you have both a Nvidia GPU and Intel GPU on your machine have you disabled the Intel GPU in windows Device manager. Adobe in the GPU FAQ clearly state that you may have Photoshop problems if your running machine configuration has multiple GPU that are  different GPU.

    Premiere Pro audio slips out of sync, though it does not occur in Sony Vegas or in Lightworks with the same footage. Strangely, this is not only with the audio from within the video (.mts) file, but also from the audio I record separately and sync up in post. The frame rate and everything is, according to the sequence settings, accurately detected.
    Running my file through Handbrake is a workaround that I'm not willing to use. I've set my workflow (capture) so that this should be unnecessary, and indeed it is unnecessary . . . except for within Premiere Pro. Using Media Encoder to output an intermediate file doesn't work either; the audio still slips out of sync.
    Yes, I've already posted in the Premiere Pro forum, with no replies, but this is a bigger CC issue because the only way I'll give CC a try is with my 1 year $29.~ offer (as a CS user), which expires on the 30th. After that, I'll never give Adobe another look.

    For what it is worth I have noticed a similar issue from the iPad3 while at work and home. At work we have two Apple TV 3rd Generation installed and tied to our A/V system. I believe the issue has to do with a timeout on the broadcast saying "here I am" and allowing devices to connect.
    For example:
    At work we have several Wi-Fi SSID being broadcast from Cisco APs. The only one we can use with the Apple TV is the one that uses a WEP since the others are either setup to be hidden, require web page authentication, or have a login requirement from employees. Essentially, what I believe the issue is that the Apple TV periodically broadcasts a message to other iOS devices that support Mirroring. When the Apple TV does not get a response from a device it goes into a dormant mode and requires either a command from the remote control or a reboot. This has been tested with both the power management enabled and not enabled with the same results.
    As for when I come home, the Apple TV3 has not seen the device in some time and therefore is not broadcasting it's location information. A simple click of the circle or menu keys on the remote will give it the command to start broadcasting again and allow the iPad3 to see the Apple TV. When trying to Home Share the computer can not play (iTunes 11, Win8RTM) until the Apple TV is awoken then it will show up for mirroing.
    This may or may not assist you but, it hopefully explains how the issue may be happening.

    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem
