Questionnaire for activities

Hi All,
We have adobe forms for our offline scenarios in business transactions.
One of the sections in the adobe interactive form is for the questionnaire. The questionnaire is defined in settings for activities in IMG.
I add 3 new points to the questionnaire, generate them and also create the check boxes for the new entries in layout. After activating the form, I create the business transaction and check newly created points in the questionnaire and save the business transaction with offline status. This generates a PDF and sends it to the mail recipient. When the PDF is sent back to CRM, the check marks for the newly created points are gone.
What could be the reason for this. I have verified the function module specific to the offline scenario and that looks fine. Is there something that I am missing when addign these points to the questionnaire. Any documentation on adobe forms will help.

I would copy the form, create a new form, and use this one (and not the updated one). I wouldn't bother myself with some technical or buffer problem..

Marketing Attributes in questionnaires in activities

Hello, I have already maintain questionnaires for activites, and I can manage them at questionnaires Tab in the Business Activity associated. I have automatically incorporated a set of attributes as questions and manually, another questions.
I have the problem at using the questionnaire in questionnaires Tab at the associated activity, because I can only see the questions introduced manually, not the marketing attributes introduced as questions at the questionnaire. What this happens?

Auto-refresh search result (for activities)

Hi all,
we've got a customer requirement to implement a auto-refresh function for the search result for activities, means, the search result table should automatically be updated every x minutes.
In component BT126S_APPT, view layout ApptSQ.htm, I've added the following lines of code after the thtmlb:advancedSearch tag:
window.setTimeout["document.getElementById('C16_W54_V55_Searchbtn').click();", 5000 ) ;
This script "clicks" the search button 5 secs after the search page has been loaded.
Now, the interesting thing is that this works two times, like starting the page -- javascript triggers first automatic search --search result updated -- javascript triggers second automatic search -- search result updated, but then the script isn't called ny more.
Any idea about that?

Questionnaire for Loyalty Management

HI Experts,
I have created a Questionnaire for Membership Object.
Now i need to store the questionnaire with link to the Membership Object.
Also i need to show the Questionnaire Assignment Block for the membership Object (Component LOY102H_MSH)
First Question:
Is it possible to use questionnaire for other object apart from One Order? As membership Object is part of Loyalty Framework(Marketing)?
Second Question:
I saw that the Component ICCMP_SURVEY is linked via BTADMINH.
So does that mean i need to create a One Order Activity first and then use it to link the memberhsip to the Questionnaire?
Can anyone help in this regard?

Hi Gaurav,
The component ICCMP_SURVEY specifically provides questionnaires UI for one order objects. So, you can't use it directly with a membership object. However, it might still be possible to link a membership to a questionnaire on web UI by using a one-order activity. You can refer to any one-order object component to see how ICCMP_SURVEY component can be used for this purpose.
Otherwise, you will have to build your own component to link membership object with survey.

Hi Rene,
When I am click on 'Search' , the view area is created but records are not being displayed. I checked in the background and data is being fetched.
Moreover, When I am copying one line item(which is viewed blank after the search being performed but has data) and after saving press 'previous' all the records are being displayed.
Do you have any idea on this? Can you share your ID , I can mail you the screenshot .

Questionnaire for leads

Hi Everyone,
Can any one body tell me the process of the questionnaire assignment to the leads.
actually i have followed the below process for the Questionnaire in the leads:
1 )I have maintained the questionnaire for the lead application in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE
2) Define determination for the lead questionnaire : in this i have assigned questionnaire, lead transaction type, item category, for the determination.
3)i have assigned the qualification levels to the lead questionnaire
But i have not maintained determination criteria for the questionnaire.Is it necessary to maintain that.
After maintained the above 3 steps i have tried to create a lead transaction in CRMD_ORDER Transaction.But in the lead transaction EVALUATION tab i didn't see any questions in that, but in the above 2nd step i have maintained the maintained questionnaire to the lead transaction.I want to see the questions in the evaluation tab.
Can anyone help me how to get the questionnaires in the lead transaction and also plz tell me did i missed any settings for that.

Your requirement is not clear.
- Do you want to see the same questionnaire being determined for all lead types?
- Do you have a pre-condition based on which questionnaire should be displayed for lead transaction type?
- what is the version of CRM you are using?
You have mentioned "I have assigned questionnaire, lead transaction type, item category, for the determination." So while creating the order just ensure that it matches determination criteria of your item category. (select a product and check)

BADI for Survey determination for Activities

Dear Gurus,
I am wondering if you can help me.
We need to set up a survey determination for activities in CRM 4.0.
Unfortunately the survey determination criterias are based in several possibilities, like Org unit, Activitiy Category, etc, but we need to have the determination criteria based on a custom field which was created in EEWB.
Do you give me a tip, which Function Module should be changed in order to have the survey dinamically changed on this field change?
E.g. if the Field value is 'A', Survey 'A' must be loaded
When the field value is 'B', Survey 'B' must be loaded.

Could you show your python code. so we know what your are "writing" to the ethernet port?
That way we can see what you are receiving.
Parsing the incoming data (from the TCP-read) depends heavily on the device that sends it, and can not generically be described. LabVIEW has many byte (and even bit) manipulation functions to convert many different data formats to its own build in formats.
So after the TCP listener is connected, you are constantly reading from the established connection (until it gets broken of course). More advanced example would be the internet toolkit if oyu have it.
From the read characters (and I hope you designed a protocol with a clear starting character, ending character and maybe even a build in checksum) you parse the data and perform you action, and of course generate a reply. Again the internet toolkit is a good example. It parsed the input as it comes it, based on the HTTP format. Then generates the reply based on the request received.
These days I would suggest not to use binairy encoded numerics. Try and use XML formatted data. Yes, it causes a lot of overhead. But typically this is not an issue and makes the code a lot more portable and maintainable. Also makes it easier to interface with other languages/platforms.
Umless of course you are looking at Khz data rates, then XML is not th preferred choice.

I am also taking C_TCRM20_70 Exam. The materials which i am reading is tcrm10 and tcrm20 .Are these two materials sufficient and Is it true that you get only material related questions, if so what are the topics to be focused .
Are they straight questions or tricky/twisted questions. Do we get any questions related to the exercises which we do from the book.

hi , as CRM questionariee depend on the CRM document ,like sale order, service order, it is not a good idea to use it as a all employee survey.
Maybe you can consider use SAP office, to send a SAP internal mail for every SAP user, and they can open it by SBWP inbox
in SBWP, it also can support some questionariee layout in mail.

Sorry to answer , that this sizing is usually part of ACS engagement or a consulting firm mission.
Bare minimum (and I really mean bare) can be found on the SRSP manual.
Fine tuning of the sizing will depends on your customer segmentation complexity, siebel processes running, many factors that requires a workshop or 2.
1 point to keep in mind, is that firing 5 million user email campaigns requires to be White listed. Many company outsources this part of the process as this is not a 1 day effort.
