Questionnaire in Business Activities

Hello Experts
i have a question about displaying Questionnaires in the "Questionnaires" assignment block on a Business Activity.
can you please tell me if i miss some key information? here under the steps i've followed
1) I've Created a Transaction Type Z001 with Business Transaction Category : Business Activity
2) I've created and activated a survey on IMG Path :
SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Transaction - Setting for Activities - Questionnaires - Define Questionnaires
3) I've assigned the Questionnaire to my Business activity for a valid period on IMG Path :
SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Transaction - Setting for Activities - Questionnaires - Define Determination for Questionnaires : Business Activity
i've specified here the validity period, Transaction Type, and Active. i Left blank Item Category and Criteria Set
i just need a very basic configuration without any profile or filter implemented.
Following these steps i've managed to display questionnaires on my test environment, while on the Client environment, the very same steps are not effective.
my goal is to see Questionnaires on the Business Activities right after the creation of the Business Transaction, even before assigning the Account (it works in this way on my test enviroment)
can you please help me if i missed some steps?

Hello MB,
I don't think that you will be able to do this only with customizing.
You can put a text in read only via customizing but to fill this text with another text, you will have to make some coding.
You can for example use transaction CRMV_EVENT to create your own after_change event for the texts.
In the Z FM attached to this event, you can implement the append of the lines from text 1 to text 2.

  • Dates for Interaction records and other Business Activities in IC (CRM2007)

    Hello,
    I noticed that for interaction records or follow up business activities the dates are not displayed at all in the IC. Is there a way make the configured dates (in date profile) visible in the IC?

    Hi Raghavendran,
    I am facing the same problem. Other than Appointments,Tasks,Email and Interaction record I cannot create any other Activities.
    I defined a new Transaction type assigned the category Misc but cannot create the Activity on WEBUI. As Raja suggested I have also assigned the Channel as WEBUI and ICWEBCLIENT but still does not work. Is there any Role specific customization that needs to be performed?
    Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how you resolved it.

  • LSMW : Idoc method , Business Activities custom fields data upload

    Hi guys
    I am uploading Business activities using LSMW IDOC method and below message and idoc type
    Message type CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M
    Basic idoc type : CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02
    Using EEWB I added few fields to business activities , along with the standard fields I want to upload the customer fields also .
    I tried to Extend the Basic idoc type CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02, but it was not allowing me to Extend ( since it is generated basic idoc type ) I tried the other Basic idoc types for Business activities , I got the same problem
    the basic idoc type contains only two Segments
    E101CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H_X (parent)
    E101CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H (child)
    with out my custom fields
    pls help how can i add my custom fields ( added by eewb) to the basic idoc type
    for uploading custom fields

    You are going to need to create an enhancement of the standard IDOC type in order to get your custom fields to show.  I can't remember the exact procedure, but you will need to create a Z-type based on the existing type in the system.  When you generate the z-type the fields will be filled in.

  • Logical link / Work center for directly accessing "Business Activities"

    Hi All,
    We are upgrading from CRM 5.0 to CRM 2007. One unique challenge that I have encountered is the access to search, change or create - BUSINESS ACTIVITIES (Leading Transaction category: BUS2000126) in the CRM Web UI. We would like to directly access Business activities through a work center -> Logical link or a Logical link, in the SALESPRO business role.
    This is available in the IC_AGENT business role. But you need to create a preceding Interaction record and then create a followup activity -> Business activity. We do not want to do this. We want to be able to access the business activites directly. For example, Leads and Opportunities can be accessed directly through the work Center: "Sales Cycle".
    Does anyone know if there is a work center that I can use in SALESPRO business role that will give me direct access to Business Activities . I can use the transaction launcher to access the HTML version of the winclient transaction (T Code: (CRMD_BUS2000126) but I do not want to use the transaction launcher. Any ideas?

    Well I am pretty Serious?!!!
    The standard SAP delivered "ACTIVITIES" WORK CENTER has the following Logical links for CREATE:
    Activity
    Activity Scheduling
    Activity Template
    Appointment
    E-Mail
    Interaction Log
    Task
    Visit Plan
    And when you use the Activity create - you ONLY have the option to create:
    Interaction log - Channel report
    Interaction log - Partner report
    Task - Approve
    Task - Recurring Task
    I would expect to see more than this. There are other BUS2000126 Business Activity transaction types which are enable to be maintained online in SPRO. But they do not show up here. I can use the Search - Activity logical link and then use Activity Type to find the other Transaction types. But not in Create. I can control the transaction types that can be displayed for Leads and Opportunities. It doesn't seem to work for Activities!!!!
    Is this part of standard CRM 2007 SALESPRO delivered role functionality??? I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and have access to the other Business activities in my security role. My Ophthamologist did confirm that my eyes are doing fine so far. So this has something to do with the way this 'Work Center' has been designed. Apart physiological/anatomical impediments what am I missing???

  • Business Activities - not visible on year change

    I am facing a weird problem, in SAP CRM 2007 - we created business activities in the year 2009, which were visible in IC - Web Client till Dec 31st 2009. As year changed to 2010, all business activities are now not visible in IC - Web Client. How can I display back these business activities in IC - Web Client??

    Hi Laura,
    The Questionnare tab is programatically removed at runtime in the standard. For the template type Template for Transactions: CRM Online Without Document Flow, this tab will not be displayed in the standard.
    Check the method DETACH_STATIC_OVW_VIEWS in the view controller class of the view BT126H_APPT/ApptOVViewset.
    Goto line 30, method cl_crm_uiu_bt_tools=>get_ovviews_header_act_jrnl. Inside this method, you can find the implementation.

  • Modify Business Activities

    Hello,
    We are building a Z program to delete Contact Persons which are flagged for archiving and not released using the function module 'BUP_BUPA_MASS_DELETE', but first we need to remove these Contact Persons from the Business Transactions in which they are involved.
    We already have the Business Transactions in which the Contact Persons to be deleted are involved, and what we need to know is how to modify them removing the Contact Persons.
    We are thinking in using the bapi BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_GETDETAILMUL to retrieve the details of the Business Transactions and then the bapi BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CHANGEMULTI to delete the line with "Partner = Contact Person to be deleted" in the tabstrip "Partner" of the Business Transaction.
    Does anybody know how to use both bapis together for what we need? There are a lot of tables in the bapi interface and no documentation in English.

    Dear experts,
    In order to have the historical contact log between our client and its customer, we would like to have the outbound emails automatically created as activities for those customers.
    By customization we are able to have that link for the inbound emails.
    Is it possible also for Outbound Emails? Which way should we follow?

    Hi Fleming,
    First you have create a tempelate for the outgoing activity(eg:outbound email) and you have assign this templete id in campaign under the transaction templetes. give start and end date, and select your commnication channel and realease the campaign, and go search in activity monitor, you can see your outbound email.

  • Sending e-mail to external addresses from business activities

    Hi Experts,
    I’m customizing CRM 5.0 and I want to send e-mails to other employees, when I’m maintaining a business activity.
    These employees can have no SAP user, so I need this e-mail to go to the address maintained in BP transaction (e.g. alda.lobato@enterprises’sname.net).
    So, I tried to customize in trx. CRMC_ACTION_CONF, the following data / conditions:
    Tab “Overview” – "Partner Determination"
    - Partner Function: 00000014
    - Description: Employee Responsible
    - Partner Number: blank
    Tab “Processing Details” – "Details of Selected Processing" – "Recipient(s)"
    - Recipient Type: U Internet address
    - Address: blank
    - Archive Mode: 1 Mail Only
    However, all the e-mails remain to being sent to the Employee Business Workplace (trx. SBWP), as we were sending the email to his SAP user.
    Please advise.

    First of all, thanks for your quick answer.
    I maintained the Email address in “Communication” area (as already maintained) and in “Address-Independent Communication” area, but the Emails remain to being sent to Employee Business Workplace (trx. SBWP).
    The “Standard Address” area that you indicated, only have the fields “Street/House number”, “Postal code/City”, “Country”, “Region” and Time zone” - I don’t have the field Email address – so I figured out that you talking about the “Address-Independent Communication” area.
    After this, I did another test, which was maintaining the Email address only in “Address-Independent Communication” area. When I sent the Email through the business activity, appears the error message “Action could not be successfully executed”.
    This mean that the Email address must be maintained in “Communication” area but it seems that independently the Email address maintained here, the Email is always sent to Employee Business Workplace.
    Please advise.

  • How to controll follow-up Business Activity list from Opportunity

    I don't want to see any business activities or tasks when I click follow-up button from opportunity screen.
    I've checked copy controll settings form for opportunity but we cant controll business activities there.
    I even tried by modifying Obj Ref Profile  but fo no use.

    In standard it is always allowed to create a task or activity as
    a follow up. Since system works as desgined, so to realize your expect
    you have to do a modification which described in note 661305.

  • Business Activity in SAP CRM 7.0 WebUI

    Hello SAP Experts,
    In SAP CRM 7.0, under maintain activities, I have assigned categories to class interaction log, appointments and tasks.
    The same categories have been assigned to some business activities. For example Category Sales Call (001) is assigned to Interaction Log. The sales call is in turn assigned to Transaction Type- Business Activity.
    When I log on to web ui, I am able to see this business activity under Interaction Log and create the transaction.
    In the same way, when I assign category u2013CX4 (Telephone Call) to class Phone Call to a Transaction Type-Sales Call (0001-business activity), I am not able to see the same in web ui.
    The same holds good when categories are assigned to Class Miscellaneous, Letter, Meeting, E-mail etc, are in turn assigned to transaction types are visible in web ui.
    Kindly clarify, whether all the business activities fall under APPOINTMENT, INTERACTION LOG, TASK, E-MAIL AND VISIT PLAN in WEB UI.
    The other category class, apart from the above mentioned, where can they be used?
    If yes, how do I do the customizing which would enable me to see all in WEB UI?

  • Search For business transactions

    Please help on this
    when we  do crmd_order and go to the search for business transaction screen there is a find tab in which we get all transaction types- I want to hide some of the transaction types from there
    Gor eg- the transaction types are - Opportunity, Service, Service contract, Leads, Framework agreement, tasks, business activities- I want to hide some of them
    How can I do this?

    I believe that the answer of Arun is related to not having certain transaction types in crmd_order, for example, creation, display. Which means that this kind of transaction will not be used at all in the system.
    But as far as I could understand, your requirement is only ignore some transaction categories show in the Find dropdown in the Find tab, isn't it? Please correct me if this is not the case.
    If my understanding is correct, you might use authorization check to realize this:
    in Function module CRM_ORDER_CHECK_AUTH_BUS_OBJCT
    if you make a full text search for 'AUTHORITY-CHECK'
    you will see a list of objects checked here.
    And if for example you would like to hide Lead, then please do not assign authorization of object CRM_LEAD with activity 45 to this user id.
    Then the authorization failed, then the Lead option will not be in the drop down.
    please also check whether these objects are checked in other processes to avoid any side effects.

    In business context tab I am getting service contracts attached to my transaction. I dont want to have service contracts in the business context tab.
    I just want business activites and attachments in business context tab.

    Hello,
    Basically the business context area is displaying data stored in the activity clipboard. So you might try to adapt the following IMG:
    SPRO >> CRM >> Interaction Center WebClient >> Basic functions >> Define activity clipboard profile
    Try to remove object BT_SC from the corresponding profile used in your business role.
    And if that doesn't work, you can try to debug method COLLECT_BUSCONTEXT of class CL_ICCMP_BT_CUCOBUSCONTEX_IMPL to see where you could adapt standard logic to filter BDC information.
