Questions on Stateful/Stateless/Until Page

Hi Group,
I have a few questions on "Stateful/Stateless/Until Page" of an individual page or
a whole BSP application:
1)If a page has been set as either "Stateful/Stateless/Until Page" what is it impact
on the "page attributes" defined for that page? Does it relate to the Page
attributes? Like if we define a page as "Stateless", is a page attribute for that
page can't not be viewed in the next page? Similarly, what each
"Stateful/Until Page" will be doing??
2)What is the relevance of the checkbox "stateful" at the BSP Application level?
And how it is connected to the earlier one mentioned in the point (1)?
So please kindly put in your valuable ideas.

Blue question mark on some web pages

hi i am getting blue questions marks on some web pages. like..... TheAVENUE.com i see the start page, and i see the pictures there, but when i go to click an link like sweaters, and the sweaters are suppose to pop up i see the blue question marks. this only only happens on a fewweb pages. any idea whats going on?

thanks for your help, I called my internet people. and they are having the same issues. they are guessing they company is blocking us from viewing it. It happens alot though. My husband is in the military and we are stationed overseas. I will have to call them and let them know they are blocking our Ip addresses

Potential errors on Simple Stateful Firewall Wiki page?

Reading through the Simple Stateful Firewall Wiki page I think I see a few errors. I'm willing to make the changes myself but before I do and end up creating a real error I'd like some confirmation from folks more familiar with iptables than I am.
I think the first errors are that the wiki page indicates this
iptables -N TCP
iptables -N UDP
I think it should really be
iptables -N OPEN-TCP
iptables -N OPEN-UDP
The other error I think I see is this
iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -m recent --name ping_limiter --hitcount 6 --seconds 4 -j DROP
I think that one should be
iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -m recent --name ping_limiter --update --hitcount 6 --seconds 4 -j DROP

Nothing is working properly, can`t login, tried changing/resetting password no go, rubbish service when something needs sorting out.
Original question was about Firefox changing my default page, the suggestions regarding adware/malware don`t apply, it is Firefox advert page that appears, not any other page, I have no interest in all that tablet, cellphone etc stuff, just want my browser left alone ! ! ! !

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
I am starting to believe that Apple is Satan.

OCMS SIP Proxy (stateful/stateless) support?

Hi all,
i wonder if someone can confirm that is is possible to implement both stateless and stateful SIP proxies (as per section 16 of rfc3261), and building applications on them using the OCMS environment? I know it contains a combined Proxy/registrar example servlet, but i am unsure if we would be restricted to that.
Also is there anyway to modify the following headers in a SIP proxy implementation on the OCMS? : From, To, Call-ID, CSeq, Via, Route ( i think pushRoute is currently modifiable ), Record-Route

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, i have looked into this a bit more and i do see that the OCMS supports JSR 116, which does support stateless and stateful SIP proxies, as you said. This should be enough for us to start with.
We are currently looking at implementing a type of P-CSCF in the 3GPP IMS model. We have two other questions in this area
1) is it possible for an OCMS proxy to insert/remove an additional SIP header - something like the P-Media-Authorization header (SIP RFC 3313) ?
2) can you confirm that any application built on a OCMS SIP proxy can also receive/modify the SDP body?
From an initial inspection I think that 2 may be possible but am unsure about point 1.

Question regarding bleeding and facing pages.

i'm in trouble with my first InDesign document which is a 96 pages Magazine. It will be printed on A3 sheets stapled in the middle. My printing guy said that it's ok as A4 pages with 3mm bleed.
So now when i'm trying to export as a printed pdf (i check mark that i want to use the documents bleeding settings) it exports with sections from left and right depending on the pages (the left page exports with ?? i guess 3 mm ?? bleed from the right page and so on). If i override the bleeding settings and i set it to 0mm it all ok but i fear that some pictures or text might get cut off since i have all planned with the bleed markers in indesign.
And i can't uncheck the facing pages since i have some graphics (charts and so on) that spread from one page to another (on same spread).
My question is ... is there anything i can do and still use bleeds or (ignore "inside bleeds" or something) or is it ok to use the export as spreadsheet instead of individual pages since he wanted A4 pages?
Any help for a newbie would be appreciated. Thank you.

You should ask the printers to use PUR (polyurethane reactive) Bind when making a perfect bound book - that's a much stronger glue than EVA. It won't even break apart or fall apart going from freezing cold (out in the car over night) to being warmed up, which happens with EVA binding. But the PUR bind seems to be a lot more popular and stronger.
Failing that, getting the book threadsewn also helps to keep pages together. If you have a large print run and need these to last, then I suggest perfect binding them with a threadsewn finish.
I've definitely seen and done 96pp saddle stitched (well personally I have imposed, printed and delivered these). You might have to sacrafice a drop in weight on the body text. It can get ugly, but it's definitely doable.
My suggestion here would be to ask the printers for a similiar 96pp saddle stitch sample that they've done before, to make sure you're happy with it.
In fact, you can ask them to send you out a dummy (a blank version of the book trimmed and folded) to make sure you're happy with it.
It really is disppointing to get a printed job back from the printers and you discover you are not happy with the binding method.

Questions about a custom login page.

Could someone give me an example of a custom login page that does the error checking with
p_error_code. I can't seem to get one to work correctly. I don't ever get any info in
p_error_code when there is an error in login.

New Questions not displaying on a page Survey App Part SharePoint 2013

I wanted to insert a survey app part on a page in my site so i followed steps mentioned in the below link

it successfully created but now when insert another question into the survey list which i created above it does not show that question onto the page it only displaying 3 questions which i added when i was creating a survey list

Why are their question marks on my iWeb page borders?

Hopefully this is an easy one that has been answered, but I can't find any postings. Anyone know why suddenly the borders around pages, text and pictures are now clear/white with question marks in them? We have changed nothing, though this does (coincidently or not) coincide with the .mac to .me transition.
Any help is appreciated.

Well, I seem to be having the same problems. I have question marks for album covers and picture frames. Also, I can't get slideshows to play. All I get is a black screen. Going back in to republish, there are no options to play slideshow. I can't imagine remaking my whole website over, just to maybe find that it still doesn't work. It seems like a glitch that should be resolved by Apple. If they can't fix it, I'd rather find another place to publish it, so that I'll know it's got a chance of working.
I couldn't even send feedback to apple this morning. They must be getting a lot of complaints.
The problem seems to be on them, and I don't feel like it's right to suffer the inconvenience, or have to remake the whole site over. I hope they'll come thru with a fix for this and make things right.
Am I the only one who's had a problem contacting feedback?

How do I set Stateful/Stateless behavior in 9.0.5

Only stateful release mode is supported in the preview.
For production, we'll address bug#3045336 which will add back the stateless option.

Question marks all over web pages

I downloaded Quicktime 7.1.5 with iTunes and now heaps of websites come up with little Quicktime "Q"'s with question marks over them come up on screen instead of ads, movies, etc.
Some pages don't even get that far they just don't properly load. I never had the trouble with the previous version so I can only assume it's the current settings of this new version. I've tried loads of different settings, uninstalling-reinstalling, nothing seems to work!!!

I think that may have done it. There were several sites that were showing the problem and I haven't been onto all of them yet but I think that may have done it, thanks heaps

Why links opened in new tap not visible until page load?

When I open link in new tab by right click menu -> open in new tab, then the opened tab contains empty address bar until response from server is given. User have no option to refresh the page or see the url if server is not responding.

Stateful/Stateless Session Bean combination

Im in the process of designing a small card game(2-4 concurrent players), and I need to keep the state stored somewhere. I was thinking about putting most of the functionality together with state in a stateful session bean, but that doesnt scale very well.
Another option is to have the state stored on the client side and use stateless session beans, but then I have to pass state data on every method call.
I was thinking of another solution, using small light-weight stateful session beans to hold the state information, and link them to stateless session beans who do the hard work(with local interfaces).
Is this a good solution which will scale well?
How many bytes of memory do you think a SFSB with a couple of strings or integers + a reference to a SLSB will take? Thank you.

Hint:
To improve performance, you might choose a stateless session bean if it has any of these traits:
- The bean's state has no data for a specific client.
- In a single method invocation, the bean performs a generic task for all clients. For example, you might use a stateless session bean to send an email that confirms an online order.
- The bean fetches from a database a set of read-only data that is often used by clients. Such a bean, for example, could retrieve the table rows that represent the products that are on sale this month.
