is it possible to track the location of another persons iphone? also is it possible to look up past texts/picture messages on a persons iphone to "spy"?

You can track any iPhone with find my friends app but each owner has to approve the location app also I don't know of anything short of a court order that will let someone else see what you are doing on the phone. Now any iPhone or apple device that you know the I d and password for can be tracked from the cloud if they have find my iPhone enabled and anyone with access to the bill can see numbers of callers and texts although iMessages do not show up on the bill they can be set up to go to another apple device as well as your iPhone if they are set up to go to an apple I d instead of a phone number and the iPhone can have more than one numbers messages if they are using the same iTunes account

If you backed up your iphone to icloud, then there's a chance that doing a restore might bring back your photos. I say "chance" because many users have tried that (assuming they had photos turned in for backups in settings), but ended up not getting back any photos. If that happens, then they are gone.
Remember, you should have been syncing photos all along to a computer for archiving. Don't trust the pictures to an icloud backup.

You will need a SIM to activate it. There is no way around that. The SIM does not have to be active, but it must be from the correct carrier if the phone is carrier locked. Once activated, it can be removed and used like an iPod touch, but if you ever have to restore or update iOS, you will need the SIM to re-activate it.

I do not have iphoto after recovering from a crash, I have had to reformat a drive and load 10.6 snow leopard to use my computer, but no iphoto to load and view pictures?

I cannot view pictures or load them with my Canon, I have no iphoto to do so, how do I recover it, is it just one of the repurchase deals with Apple and if everything goes to **** again, I just buy it another time, so on and on? I rather drive nails into my macbook pro, I got this thinking I was avoiding windows nightmares, but I guess eventually they show up everywhere?
I doubt you can own a macbook pro without iphoto, but one of you apple geeks will prove me wrong!

You won't be able to view or send pictures from there however. Backups are stored in iCloud but all you can do with them is restore them to a device. As you all are aware the iPod Nano faces off with zen Microphoto. Even though it isn't yet available at Creative.us and after waiting almost a year, I just had to grab one from Best Buy that sold out. I purchased it because of the huge 8GB harddri've, FM stereo receiver (that's how I get to know about new songs) and color photo capabilities. Unfortunately, everytime I try to watch a photo or play a slideshow, the music cuts off without warning and my bright and shiny player isn't a MP3 player anymore.Please, everyone, WRITE CREATIVE via Email and ask them to upgrade the firmware and software to stop turning off the music whenever we play photos. If the iPod Nano can do it... shouldn't the Zen MicroPhoto be able to do it also?Imagine not being able to play your sport team's music while you view your sports picture while you were playing ball. So, what you're saying is the iPod uses superior hardware components because they play images and music at the same time, even in the itty bitty Nano. Also, the iPod is able to "shuffle" photos so that you don't get bored seeing the same photos over and over again as in sequential mode.
There are a few players that do support music and photos... some will only limit one song per slideshow.
Furthermore, if you check the Zen Vision manual, creative's newest MP3 multimedia player... it does NOT support photos and music at the same time either.
In my opionion, it's a software issue, like I said, it displays only one image (background) during music play - if it couldn't, it would have shut off the image too. It's not that they CUT OUT creative features, but that they didn't write the software to allow the ZMP to "play" photos and music at the same time.
I mean, you can buy a PC for less than a ZMP and it can run several applications showing music and photo and videos at the same time.
I wouldn't buy the zen micro for nothing... there's just something special about having a color screen. I mean, who buys black & white TV these days?
With X-fi, I'm restoring my MP3 to higher quality, I'm sure the 8GB will come in handy as these filesize will only increase. And I got it because I'm hearing more and more music on the radio that I want to have... so my collection will only increase. I have over ,200MP3 at 320K which stood at 6.5GB.
As for you, consider that you're paying an extra $20 for 2 more GB and a 256K color display. It's well worth it over a 6GB monochrome MP3 player.

Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

What error messages are you getting? What trouble shooting steps have you already taken? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you checked Settings>Messages>MMS Messaging to make sure that it's set to "On"? Have you contacted your carrier to make sure your account is still properly provisioned?

A restore erases everything from your device, if you didn't back them up to your computer or backup your iPad then they are gone.

Do any experts out there know how I can easily store and view ppt & pdf files on my ipod touch 8GB?
I only need to view them.
I have read else where that you can copy them in to safari bookmark, but this can destabilise safari(?).
Is there a simple way I can just drag, drop and view?
Any free apps available especially for this purpose?

Cannot View Pictures on Texts

Info: Blackberry Curve 9320 (Package Bundle 7.1)
I'm a newbie to Blackberry and just about got through most of the general functions, but I cannot view pictures sent via text message, it just says ***Not Retreived Yet*** when I press the 'Download Now' nothing happens. I've researched loads of fixes but none work, including battery out, sending one to myself, switching Wi-Fi off etc.
I cannot believe I cannot access it, as all other phones I've owned you would just open it up and it's there. You should also be aware I do not have an email account set up on my phone as I just use my main internet for that. I use Wi-Fi on my phone through my internet provider at home and the works when at work so I don't need a Blackberry Data Package as it would be a waste of money for what I use it for.
I wonder where you are actually uploading the picture from when it says 'Download Only' . There must be a way of obtaining an image without having to download it. There's ample additional memory on my phone. I cannot believe you would have to have an email account which I've read.
Also when I originally got curious and tried to get an email account it only ever shows 'Enterprise Account', which I'm told is more to do with companies which i don't need.
Other than this problem it's great.
Can anyone help me with this issue as it's starting to drive me around the bend...

As you are unable to recieve any MMS you need to contact your Carrier O2 and make sure that MMS is provisioned on your account as you don't have BlackBerry Data Plan on your account.
When you go to email setup you are getting only enterprise options because you don't have a BlackBerry Data plan on your account ,For push email services we need BIS.
So contact your Carrier regarding this MMS issue and make sure that this MMS service is enabled on your account.

What is the best resolution for adding and viewing pictures/images in ibooks?

I'm trying to add pictures/images and I was wondering what the best resolution is for viewing? Any help would be great.

iBook Author seems to scale the images automagically during the book generation, so targeting iPad's native resolution should be fine.
Havign said that, I'm currently creating art based on the assumption the next generation of the device will have double resolution screen, so a photograph should be scaled to 2048x1536 pixels if you want it to be full screen at 1:1 pixel mapping.
If you're creating widgets, the art (probably) won't be scaled, and you'll need to use the pixel dimensions you want the art to appear on screen.

IPhone taking blurry pictures and videos

A week ago my iphone 5 started to take blurry fotos. It looks likes auto focusing but fails. Close range pictures have no problem. Example I take a picture of my hand and it comes out clear. I take a picture of a room or outside it comes out blurry. Same with video.
Yes my camera lens is clean
Yes all my filters are off. Same problem with other camera apps.
Yes i have Restored it twice
I looked into the problem and it appears to be an auto focus problem with the hardware.
My facetime camera works perfectly.
What is causing this issue? any tips or ideas on how to fix this annying problem.

The solution to your blurry iPhone 5 6 is recalibration.
Step #1 click on the camera
Step #2 while in camera click on the bottom right on the (3) circles
Step #3 you are now looking at (9) different options for photo (Mono, Tonal, Noir, Fade, None, Chrome, Process, Transfer, Instant) lets assume your phone was set for "none" so lets choose chrome
Step #4 Take a few photos.... Now go back to the (3) circles and put it back on "None"
Step #5 Take photos and verify
This process may help your camera on your iPhone recalibrate. If it does NOT work then you need to go into a Apple Store and request the camera be replaced instore repair and is covered by your 1 year warranty.
