Quetion about front sid bus

Good evening
I have a question about the compatibility of a P4 processor (3.06) with a 533 FSB with a motherboard MSI neo-f p35 ---->

Looks about right.  Your front side bus is running at native clock of 266MHz.  This translates to a rated FSB of 1066Mz (quad-pumped Intel:  4 x 266.66MHz = 1066.66MHz).  The E6420 is running at 266.66MHz x 8 = 2.13GHz.
As for the L1 cache, 32KBytes is correct (32KB for data + 32KB instructions = 64KB total).  It's the L2 cache that's 4MB.  That should also show up in a separate field in CPU-Z.

  • 200 Mhz front side bus and K7N2G IGP

    Hi!
I have a K7N2G motherboard and a Barton 2500 XP CPU capable of running with a 200 Mhz front side bus. Of course I also have ddr 400.
Unfortunately the IGP cannot go to more than 196 Mhz font side bus (in my case). After that it will not boot.
Is there anything I can do beside setting the memory clock lower than the (2x) CPU front side bus or just setting the CPU front side bus lower?
I would really like the memory to run at 400 Mhz...

    Question for anybody:
Is it actually safe to oc the IGP?
Assuming that a proper cooling is installed and the temperature is normal.
    hi
    take clarkkent57 for example.
according to his signature he has oc'ed the internal graphics core to 240mhz.
on my computer its running stock at 199mhz.
just put this in a file and call it unlocknview.reg
it will unlock some more options in nview including overclock options.

  • K7t turbo2 + front side bus

i recently bought an msi k7t turbo2 and athlon xp 1700+, but when i boot up it only shows it as an athlon 1100mhz, i've asked a few friends and they told me to set the fsb to 133. i checked in the manual how, and it says to change the jumper however the diagrams weren't too informative (or i just didn't catch the drift), i was hoping somebody could explain in a little more detail

    I have the same problem...
I have a k7t turbo xp1800 gf4ti4200 300Wps(one HD and nothing else to steal power) the cpu temp is >50C and the cooler is put on correctly.
And when putting the fsb to 133 i can boot up once then it will hang after ~15 mins. And if i reboot before that nothing happens the screen is just black.
Then i have to take the power cord out and leave it out for 5 mins then i can boot again but it hangs after ~15 mins.
But when running at 100fsb everything is working perfectly but the cpu is running slower of course.
I dont undestand why this is happening and its driving me nuts

  • Cisco MCS Server 7825 front side LED status..?

    Hi,
Please provide me the details of Cisco MCS server 7825 front side LED status. Because i our server one LED status showing AMBER. i know about the status of two led one is for HDD one is for Ethernet and please tell me about the third one.
    Regards,
    Deepak Sambyal

Steve - if the servers are showing blank screen on monitor connected to console, it appears they are not even initialising the POST process. It could be due to a faulty component - could be CPU, RAM, motherboard..anything....
Generally with this kind of issues,  you try to isolate faulty hardware, by rebooting without any component and see if it reaches POST. I would suggest open a case with TAC and I hope the servers have active maintenance.
On another note try changing the monitor cable etc. to rule out any issue with any cable or monitor (which i doubt would be the case) just to make sure and then try a reboot and see if you see anything on screen.

  • 15" Macbook Pro right front side does not sit flat on the table.

My 15" stock mbp's right front side doesn't sit on the table flat when the screen is lifted up. This is at the front corner of the optical drive. The bumper does not sit level. I have put it on the piece of glass just to make sure. It sits fine closed, but un-even when opened. Maybe the hinge is over torqued causing it to rise? I just got this from the apple store as a replacement for my first that had a bad screen 2 days ago. It's annoying for a 2000.00 dollar machine to have this issue. I took it back and they said it's in spec and that they will not let me do an exchange. Another one of their floor display MBP's had the same issue. The genius said he saw the issue but he would not to an exchange. There are two other apple stores in my area, is it worth a shot? This new second week of January build has a way better screen than the second week of December build. The coating on the screen is somewhat less and it has a better viewing angle. Other than the above issue, the laptop is fine. Is there any fix for this issue? I have read other people having the same problem. I frustrated because as a longtime apple supporter, I can't get get one out of the box that's right. Any help would be appreciated.
    Chris

Thanks for the response. I went to the second Apple store and got the same response. It's a millimeter out off. He said that it was in spec. He said it's not perfect but it's not enough to get a replacement. So I may be over doing it here but I feel for a 2000.00 dollar machine, this should not be. It's small defect in the manufacturing process but it is one, none the less. Apple should take a zero manufacturing defect policy if a customer asks for a replacement machine. I think if it's not done right, than it should be fixed or replaced. Hey, I'll probably add some plastic to the foot that's off or I may open the thing up and bend it back to being perfect and fix this small defect but I think Apple should replace it. I have heard other having this problem and I have seen macbook pros in the store with this issue and they say it is within spec. I'll fix the issue that should have never left the factory myself. Anyway, I'll try adding more rubber to the foot.

  • Create PDF From Scanner - always scans both sides, although default is set to front sides

Have Windows 7 (64 bit), Dell 2335dn MFP printer and Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.
Have set Configure Presets/Input/Sides to "front sides" both on the File menu and the "Create" on the toolbar.
If I do a "custom scan" it will print just one side, but from the Create/PDF from Scanner/Black and White option, it will always print both sides

    I found the problem.
v9.9.0 Standard does not like TWAIN Drivers in the HP Scanjet 5590.  It runs flawlessly on 5590 "WIA Drivers".
Thank you to all that tried to help.

  • Acrobat Pro XI scans both sides (blank backs of pages) when pre-configured to scan front side only

Acrobat Pro XI scans both sides (blank backs of pages) when pre-configured to scan front side only; using Brother MFC 9840CDW and Windows 8 (was not a problem with previous Acrobat version).  Help, please?

Update:  No solution has been discovered; and, I did check the Brother settings (since it allows two-sided printing) - nothing awry there.  Acrobat behaves normally when scanning from the flatbed (as opposed to the doc feeder).  Using Acrobat to delete every other page (blank ones) after scanning is not a viable option.  Please, any thoughts on this issue?

  • MOVED: Front side Audio Connections to mainboard

This topic has been moved to AMD VIA SocketA based board.
Front side Audio Connections to mainboard

    Hi,
The front panel audio socket has a "send" and "return" line for the left and right channels. The green socket on the front panel has special switching connections inside it. Normally, the send and return lines of each channel are connected together. The signal returns to the mobo, and is connected to the rear audio out socket. If you plug something into the front socket, the switches open and disconnect the return signal, effectively cutting off the rear output signal.  If the front panel socket isn't connected at all, a pair of jumpers have to be fitted between pins 5-6 and 9-10 to connect the signals to the rear socket.
When experimenting, avoid connecting to pins 3 & 4, as these might have some voltage on them.
    Cheers

  • Itouch front side camera problem

On my itouch G4, the front side camera won't work.
I can't take selfies and everytime I try the whole device freezes.
(The front side is the camera on the screen).
    Thank you!

  • Creating CAD-style front-, side- and topview

I am trying to create sort of a simple CAD like program that displays the world in a top-, front and sideview. I am using the PARALLEL_PROJECTION policy for my view and the front view is working like expected. I moved it 1000 in the +z direction and it is showing my simple test scene which is placed near the origin in a non-perspective way.
I have some trouble with side and top view though.
I want to create the sideview by moving the view 1000 units in the +x direction (to the right) and rotating the camera to point at the origin. This should be accomplished by using rotY(Math.PI) on the transformation for the side view, shouldn't it? That should rotate the camera 90 counter-clockwise around the Y-axis (which points up, right?).
But my scene doesn't show up.
Same thing for the top view (moved it 1000 in +y, rotX(-Math.PI) ).
Any idea why nothing shows up?
Could it be a problem with the rotation precision? It appears that parallel-projection is rather sensitive to roation, rotating by something like 0.01d on my front view lets the scene disappear aswell.

I think you should first rotate and then translate, since the order of matrix operation is sensitive.

  • Discussion about Front Panel Desing Pattern & Trends

    Hello everyone.
Last time I opened a discussion, we had several answers about block diagram practices and tips from experienced users. I consider the thread successful, because I could learn a lot there!
Now I would like to know how LabVIEW developers are dealing with Front Panel design. That's a very relative question, because depending on the end-user, you're able to give a more raw solution (e.g. users with more techinical knowledgement). But, if your application will be used by common users, maybe you will have to focus more on keep things beautiful and modern.
In fact, I'd like to know if you tend to follow some design pattern or trends, and know your opinion on that.
So, to start this discussion... The current trend is Flat Design. Minimalized designs are also heavily used nowadays.
I know that this trends maybe are harder to apply at industrial softwares. But IMHO it's great to try implement some solutions that are simple and clean.
Unfortunately, my company doesn't allow me to share any images of our software, but we're trying to focus on the design, since the web component of our product is really well done. The result is being positive so far. I've been using frameless indicators and 3 neutral or cold colors. Fonts are usually helvetica. Flat boxes are also heavily used, to highlight the most important data on the program.
    How about you?
All feedbacks will be really appreciated!
    Regards
    Mondoni

... or open the toplevel VI and "save for previous". Select the same version and save to a new folder. Then zip up the folder. This should include most dependencies.
(I suspect we don't really need any subVIs to see the problem, unless you are doing some advanced weird stuff with references and such. As a first step, simply attach the toplevel VI.)
